Server was great, super polite and generally cared. Good was good. Prices seemed kind of high for a chain restaurant.
Have a very nice quiet dinner, service was excellent along with the food. atmosphere was excellent. Maybe draw back was food between courses came to quick.
The iceberg wedge salad with chunky blue cheese…delicious and so fresh and crisp! My husband had the escargot…he was very impressed with the flavours and generous serving. We both ordered the Blue Cheese Filet..just ah-mau-zing tenderness and flavour.
2 very small criticisms…the rock music is always a little loud, destroys any romantic ambiance. We would prefer soft jazz.
Also…very strange hand sanitizer at the reception.
IT FELT LIKE GLUE! I had to rinse it off. Horrible stuff.
All in all, a wonderful meal!
We are locals and regulars at The Keg Courtyard location. I did not have my usual prime rib as all that was available was well done and I prefer medium rare. I did have the filet and it was delicious!
Service was excellent but our steaks had to be returned because they were raw not medium cooked. Otherwise everything was perfect.
Vacation and it was a wonderful dinner that was right up my alley being a big meat eater!
The meal was very good. The one down fall is they need a washroom within the restaraunt especially for seniors that is a long walk for someone with walking diability. I would love to return but because of the washrooms will probably not return .
Our waitress was AMAZING!!!!! She really made my kids feel welcome (this was their first time at the keg) the food was great!!!
Food and service was good. Baked Potato was cold, but they got us a new one and also a free desert. Overall good place for a quiet dinner with my wife
The food is very expensive. I had oven roasted chicken and spouse had half rack of ribs and the bill was $93.00. Server was excellent and very friendly
I love this location for the friendly staff and ambiance my meal is almost always perfect and if it isn’t the staff here strives to make it right, love that !
Slow (but friendly) service. Food was tasty as always. Iced tea is awful- tastes like fountain Brisk. Overall a quiet, pleasant experience for a Tuesday evening.
Our dinner was absolutely perfect. Our waitress was attentive and very friendly. The food was, as always, amazing. The steaks were perfectly cooked. We loved that there was a keto friendly option for a side.
I reserved on open table and nobody confirmed that i showed up so open table sent me an email telling me I should have canceled. I did show up! Food was not good, steak was tough, cold and baked patatoe was burnt and hollow filled with a huge scoop of semi frozen butter… horrible! This is the worst Keg i ever ate at and to too top it off my Keg classic 6oz sirloin was 10$ more then the one I eat at back home in old Montreal…
why so much more here, because its niagara falls? Really ? Wow and to top it off it was truly the worst one of all the Kegs I have eaten at. So sad and disappointed. Im actually embarrassed for The Keg. Just close it down. Horrible experience😔
Great dinner at the keg in Niagara. Sat outside in a tent set up in the parking lot. Food was to Keg standard. Service was good and reasonably quick. I was happy with the outdoor dining option. No issues and I would return.
We sat at the patio for our dinner. It is covered and it was a beautiful day for it. Food was hot and great. We enjoy the Keg slways!
very good experience. food was very good albeit took a while to be greeted at our table, however our waitress was very kind.
Very disappointed food arrived cold second time it’s was burnt one of our friends never got their dinner.
We never got one of their meal
We had a wonderful waiter...I think his name was Ramon...he was from Peru. I know because I asked. He made us feel very welcome for my hubby's 75th birthday.
He was very busy but came to serve us an all the tables around us. He went above and beyond in his service. Thank you.
Excellent overall experience. The waitress was friendly and accommodating.
Was good had good service. Only thing ewe we asked for our steak to me medium well on the inside Chicago on the outside and we got it and it came medium rare
Let me start by saying that we regularly eat at The Keg so know what to expect…yes the food was perfectly cooked but overall dissatisfied with the experience.
We were very disappointed last night. For starters we were told as soon as we sat down for a 7:30 PM dinner that they were all out of the famous sourdough bread that they serve with every meal which we thought was quite odd. Secondly we ordered the bacon-wrapped scallops as an appetizer and we were once again met with disappointment…they were much smaller than we had experienced in the past…there was barely enough on the plate for one person to enjoy!
Our steaks were cooked perfectly but the plates looked a little bare compared to past experiences.
Another thing that caught our attention was the lack of cleanliness. We understand and appreciate the efforts made to keep patrons safe during the COVID times however they really should be wiping down and cleaning the mused tables. The tables next to us were covered in dust…very unattractive!
If this is the new standard that the Keg is working towards, they have definitely lost some customers. Prices go up and quantity and quality go down is never a good trend…The restaurant did nothing to try and compensate for the lack of bread…maybe offer a discount on appetizers so someone could order a second one.
I hope that this review is seen by many and by The Keg management because everyone should be aware before considering eating there.
We visit this restraint on a regular basis. Always very good. Steak sizes seem to be getting a bit smaller. Quite disappointed with last visit as they had no bread. Which is usually a hi lite for us. However we could have ordered the cheesy garlic bread off menu. Our servers name was Adam. He was a delightful lad who provided excellent service. All in all a great experience as always.
We were very pleased with the service. The food was absolutely delicious!
Good ambience and COVID protocols were enacted.
I was expecting more. The food was ok but was expecting outstanding steak
Food and service were great but feel it was overpriced. Would not have eaten there if we hadn’t had gift cards.
Ran out of steaks we wanted
Awesome server, Ray, super positive! Great service and delicious food!
Typical Keg food and service ... always seems to be good.
The only issue was even though we had a reservation they did not seem able to find it. They took us to a booth at the far back of the restaurant where we watched every meal come out of the kitchen and we were celebrating our anniversary. . Will not return to this location.
The service was very good. The girl was very polite and quick. She was great. We have been at the Keg many times and have been happy with everything. I understand that a Niagara restaurant charges more than usual, but the quality of food was terrible. I always order the Sirloin Oscar, but was Very disappointed in every way. The first time this happened at the Keg.
The Keg has been our favourite place to celebrate Birthdays and our Anniversary. We have never had a bad meal or service. We have tried all 3 locations in the Niagara region and have never been disappointed. The people you have on staff are great.
Thank you for the great food and service
My husband and I are not able to have dairy or gluten. So when we came to the restaurant and let them know they were very accommodating and the manager came out a couple times to tell us that everything was double checked and there is no gluten or dairy.
Unfortunately our Keg experience was not what it usually is. Cocktail specials for indoor/versus outdoor seating were different. I asked to speak with the manager, he did not want to come to the table so told the waitress to tell us that he would “make an exception” this time. Funny thing is, they want you to eat inside but you must use the hotel washroom! Ordering Keg Classics comes with sautéed mushrooms, our meals did not and we had to ask. A plate was given to us about 5 minutes after our meals were delivered. We needed to call our waitress to us who truly under the circumstances was great! I also asked for my Keg Daiquiri to be made with vodka instead of rum- it did not! Again, we needed to ask our waitress. Our bill came to $154.00 (two people) I do expect quality at that price- what was most disappointing was that after three solid errors/questions a manager still did not come to our table. Hope things improve!
ate on the patio for a siblings birthday. patio has a nice breeze in the evening so it is not too hot. Steaks are done as you would expect from the keg. Make sure to make a reservation, they are super busy on weekends and had a long wait time for people without reservations.
Ordered medium well steak and received well done. The outside of the steak was charred. The ceaser salad was covered in shaved cheese to the point that there was more cheese than lettuce. The garlic toast with cheese was soggy.
Overall it was terrible food. Will never go back.
It was the worst experience I’ve ever had at a KEG. My filet mignon was uncooked and it took 30 minutes before the waitress came back to ask if everything was okay so at this time my husband had finished to eat. They remakes my plate and for the second time it was uncooked. So I left without eating.
Our server was absolutely excellent. He was polite, knowledgeable, friendly and attentive. I had the ribeye steak and my wife had blue cheese crusted filet. Both were melt in your mouth delicious. If you are looking for a nice evening out I highly recommend
Consistently excellent food and service we especially prefer this location over the Embassy Suites location. The outdoor patio & tent made the experience even better.
Need to ask at reservation, inside or outside dining, had to wait for inside table, QR menu is inappropiate, phones don't belong at the table, too gloomy...food was fine..
