The Keg Steakhouse + Bar - Colorado Mills
Food choices were extensive, and the wine list was excellent, plus reasonably priced. Restaurant decor had a great feel with a quiet atmosphere, making it easy to talk.
Great food as always. We went there for my husband's birthday and all enjoyed it. The steak and ribs were excellent. My only complaint is that it is s a little dark in the dining area.
We've been to the Keg in Denver West multiple times over the years. Our visit with friends Saturday night was our worst experience in a long time. It was our friends first time at the Keg and I doubt they'll be back. My husband and I ordered prime rib (med-well) and a wedge salad to share. The salad never came. When our prime rib came, they were both closer to med-rare, my husband's plate had a side of veggies (mushrooms, green beans, and red bell peppers), my plate didn't have any vegetables. We pointed out that the salads never came and that my plate was missing veggies. The waitress said she had no idea why the salad didn't come out because she placed the order - well, we placed the order and had no idea why either! She brought out a side of mushrooms for me and said we would not be charged for the salad or the Coke. Laughable, really. I never even mentioned that the steaks were not cooked as ordered - it was too much to keep complaining in front of our friends. I am embarrassed that we suggested the Keg for dinner with friends. To top off the experience, we ordered the brownie sundae with an extra scoop of ice cream. Yes, you guessed it, the extra scoop of ice cream never came out.
I love to go to the Keg Steakhouse in the summer and sit on the outdoor area. The appetizers are great. We went this winter and sat indoors, which is also great atmosphere. I got a special steak and lobster pieces. Meat was very tough. Not a good sign for steakhouse. My husband's peppercorn steak was great, tho. I would recommend this place, just don't order the special.
My husband and I have been coming here for a while. The food is excellent and consistently cooked as ordered. The service is always amazing as well. We never have any complaints.
It was just ok for what we got. Service an ambiance were good, but unfortunately the food was just ok which is not what i expect from a high end steak house.

Great value, since I received a coupon for a free birthday dinner! The Keg is always a very good restaurant and I love going there. I don't think I've ever had a bad meal there and I go there fairly often.
Great food, atmosphere, service and location. Eat here often
The best Prime Rib that I’ve had in a long time! All four of us were treated to dinners that we entirely enjoyed and the service was exceptional. Can’t wait to return.
Extremely overpriced for the quality of food that was offered. For the cost we could have gone to a much better steakhouse.
Sadly, our meal was disappointing in several ways. The service was very slow (acknowledged by the waiter more than once). We waited quite awhile just to get some bread on the table. My husband ordered a well done steak and it came with as much pink as my medium steak. He sent it back and while they did bring it with a fresh potato and seafood topping, it took some time. My steak, although cooked correctly, tasted dry and not very flavorful.
We've had service problems at The Keg before (mostly at the now-closed downtown location) and I think we are just done here. While there were apologies for the mis-steps, they did nothing to sweeten the deal.
I booked The Keg for our wedding anniversary dinner. Upon arrival we were given an Anniversary card with signatures from all of the staff.
I had requested a table in front of the fireplace, and we were promptly seated at the requested booth.
Our waiter Mitchell was “OUTSTANDING “! The manager brought us over a complimentary champagne toast for our anniversary, and continued to check in on us throughout our time there.
This was by far one our best dining experiences, and we highly recommend dining at this establishment!
Food was delicious. I love the pistachio crusted salmon. Service was great. But we were surprised that our server did not pack up the horseradish and au jus for the prime rib. So the leftovers were dissappointing.
It is overpriced for the ambiance. My husband and I both had soup and we were sick that night, fine the next day.
Excellent service by Nisa! She made our celebration more fun.
THE TOTAL. EXPERIENCE WAS MARVELOUS EXPERIENCE. TWO ENJOYED THE LOBSTER BISQUE AND DEEMED IT THE BEST EVER! Matt our waiter was attentive and directed dish delivered on time and right temperature
Always a special treat to dine at The Keg.
Electricity went out just prior to getting our food, so that likely affected the quality. Everyone’s steak was under cooked. We will try it again in the future because we heard it was fantastic.
We always have a great time. They outdid them self’s for restaurant week. We were there during a bad snowstorm but we’re lucky enough to be seated buy the fireplace. The power went out for about 20 minutes, even so they managed to keep serving everyone and when we were done there was only a little wait for the computer to power back up.
Overall we love this place and will keep coming back.
Great server great food- music too loud and heavy rock and roll was disconcerting
Family get together
One of my favorite steakhouses! Always a perfect steak.
Went for Denver Restaurant Week and they had a great menu! It's was hard to choose what options we wanted since they were all so good! Great food, steaks done to perfection and great service. A bit loud, but that's Friday night!!! Will be back again. We enjoyed what The Keg had to offer.
Always great food and service! Go to place for special occasions!
We went during restaurant week. Our server was fantastic. The restaurant week special was terrific. We shared a salad and appetizer and the seafood sirloin was delicious. Also got a cheese cake to go, all for $45 a person. Sat in a back room with a fire going. All in all, a great experience.
The service was incredible. The food was good and we were well taken care of. It was busy because of restaurant week, but we were well taken care of. It was a very warm and friendly environment. We will dine there again
The Keg is our go to restaurant for almost all of our special occasions because we know the food is going to be spectacular and the staff is always 5 Stars.
Food was fantastic, waiter was very attentive and knowledgeable.
Best meal we have had at the keg & also out in a long time. Enjoyed everything & the service was exceptional.
Arrived for our Tuesday evening family dinner and were seated promptly.
Served by Sean and Tom, who provided spot on, world class service throughout the night.
All food was delicious: prime rib, grilled shrimp, ahi tuna and lobster bisque soup!
Desserts were carrot cake and Billy miner ice cream pie.
Highly recommend The Keg.
I've always enjoy your restaurant; recommend the food to EVERYONE. The service was good and the price was expected. Keep up the great food!
Our party of four had a wonderful night at the The Keg. Their restaurant week menu was outstanding, the food was delicious, the service impeccable, and the overall experience was outstanding.
We had a delicious meal during Denver Restaurant Week. The service was friendly yet professional. They allowed us to dine at our own pace. The food was a good value for the special $45 menu. We’ve never been disappointed by any aspect of service.
Always good, and I loved the special menu for Restaurant Week. Food and service excellent as usual.
Ben was a wonderful server and we enjoyed our meal, wine and service! We went for Restaurant week and the menu they had was awesome!
We used to be big fans of The Keg restaurants but this location seems to have gone downhill. The last three times we visited one or more of our dishes had to be sent back for being over or under cooked, or cold. Not to mention it took a very long time to get our entrees. So it’s three strikes now and we are out!
My family of four had dinner here for my birthday, love the kids plate to keep them (2yo and 7yo) busy while we waited for food, except I remember strawberries being included before?
Our waitress Shawnie was so polite, professional, and knowledgeable.
Food excellent like always!
My steak was completely over cooked. Steakhouses should know how to cook a steak. Had to send it back. Didn’t arrive until everyone in my party was finished with their meal. They comped it, but it still ruined my Birthday. The creamed corn was so spicy, none of us could eat it. Don’t order that. Waitress delivered wrong salad and had to run back to kitchen to get additional ingredients. It was so hot in there I had to go outside for air. After my steak was messed up, the waitress disappeared and didn’t come back very often. Had to ask for bread twice. They don’t give you a Birthday dessert either. Worst Birthday dinner ever! Very expensive for such a huge fail!
We sat in the bar and everyone was so helpful and great!! We loved our server she was amazing food was great!!
Great Denver restaurant week meal for two, with awesome service!
