Friendly stuff and great food

Dan’s service was excellent, the restaurant’s new policy for social distancing and the staff wearing the mask made us felt safe and comfortable dining at this location.

THE SERVICE WAS EXCELLENT AND THE STAFF VERY HELPFUL AND COURTIOUS . Table was clean and ready for us to sit down. The food was perfect and on time

Father’s Day dinner with family, great service and preparation work for customer to have a great dinner time during the reopening of the restaurant in the pandemic time, would like to come back soon

As usual, The Keg exceeded our expectations with service, food and ambiance. Amidst the pandemic, we felt safe and managed to have a pleasant meal. Trevor G was great and very attentive. He knew it was my father’s birthday and greeted him right away. He also brought out dessert as per our request when we booked our reservation online.

We received great service from the moment we advised the hostess our reservation to the great service we received throughout the night and when we walked out the door.

I’ve been going to the keg for a verrrry long time. Would have to say that when I went on Wednesday at 6:30 my son and I where seated right away as we had reservations. The lady at the front door was super nice. Once we where seated our order was taken immediately for drinks. Then bread was offered. The bread cane and we realized we had zero cutlery. We waited for what seemed like forever so eventually my son asked another lady very politely if we could please have cutlery.

The server (blondie lady with a hair bun ) snapped at my son very rudely and loud and said “ ask your sever Belinda). She said it really abruptly and aggressive. My server still had not come to our table and eventually the same lady that snapped at my son gave us cutlery.

Having said this, as a customer of your Keg in Burnaby Willingdon for over 25 years, this was hands down the worst customer service I have experienced.

Not only did this lady snap at my son she also drew attention to her rudeness noticed by other customers.

I will be calling to talk to a manager to make a formal complaint.

Steak was overcooked.

We arrived a little early but they seated us anyways. Waiter brought us water and asked us if we wanted to order a drink. We said yes and we were ready to place our dinner order. He took our order. A few minutes later another person brought us bread and we had no cutlery! I tried to flag someone down but had to wait for our waiter to finally come back to our table to tell him we had no cutlery! Dinner arrived. It was delicious. I asked our waiter if he would kindly take our photo which he declined because of the new covid19 restrictions which we understood. Since we weee celebrating my birthday our waiter brought a billy miner cake. That to was delicious. Our waiter brought us our bill. We paid and left.

The Keg is one of our favourite dinner spots after a long week (or long COVID lockdown). The service is always friendly, the food consistently high quality and tasty. The Burnaby location is no exception. Recommended.

Excellent following of Covid 19 rules. Staff we attentive and very pleasant. Food was delicious.

The steak was bland and overcooked. Poor grill job.

Anniversary

Great covid 19 set up—plenty of distance, no waiting area and hand sanitizer when you walk in. Tables are cleaned as are seats, menus, etc. Felt safe.

The one downfall we found was ingredients were not in quantity so they ran out of lobster and other such. Bit disappointed as that was on our planned list but it is what it is. Maybe they’ll be able to start keeping stock on hand for the amount of guests soon.

Didnt get the ideal sitting but i am glad that they are taking extra precautions to protect their consumers and at the time provide an enjoyable meal.

Best value in steak houses in Canada. Bar none. Good to have them open again.

Been here plenty of times before, food was good as usual. Had a lovely dinner with my boyfriend. Lime margarita was excellent.

I took my wife to the Keg to celebrate her Birthday. We had reservations for 7:30 arrived at 7:25 no sooner did we check in we were ushered to a real nice cozy booth for 2. We had an appetiser next thing you know the food was at our table. It was fresh off the grill and was cooked to perfection the food was awesome (I wish I could cook a steak to perfection like the chefs at the Keg) It was a nice relaxing time and will defiantly recommend the Keg (Still creek location) to my friends. Kudos to our waiter Adrian who was really on it and a very nice person to talk to. I look forward to the next time I visit this fantastic restaurant.

I'm so sorry I can't remember our server's name, but she was fantastic! As always, Keg food is exemplary from the appies to mains to desserts. We were celebrating my mom's 88th and my daughter's 22nd, and it was wonderful-they got desserts and the ambiance was lovely. Everyone was very nice and welcoming. Love the Keg, and thank-you for a great evening!

Great experience except for the price of draft beer.

It was wonderful as always.

We love the Keg but was disappointed we were not served any bread. We asked about it and the bread came after our entrees were served.

Awesome service, we weren’t rushed to turn over the table, able to relax and unwind from a busy work week, enjoyed our food and drinks!

Just another date night with my wife. The waiter Paul was great! He was very good and take good care of us. Food was great too and we metioned to him that I proposed on Leap year and when we got the bill. He took off our dessert as a gift to us! We didn’t expect that from him! Thanks Paul!

Dan was our server and he made the evening much more enjoyable. Food was great, service was amazing, i would definitely return and recommend others here.

We brought our 16 month old daughter with us so it was an early dinner. It was initially quiet, then grew louder as it got busier. Our server Brian was outstanding with overall service and was attentive to our needs, especially with a toddler.

The food was excellent but one steak wasn't cooked enough for the guest. My appetizer was forgotten . Eventually came and was complimentary. Worse part was a very loud table behind us that made conversation difficult. Has anyone ever considered a party side and a quiet dinning area?

We had only sat for a moment and was asked if we were ready to order. She didn’t hand out our menus. That Started the mood for the night. Calamari was bland I can add more but won’t bother
the keg is usually an easy win Not on this night unfortunately

Our waitress was very attentive and made the meal amazing.

Overall we had very good service! As far as the food went, the meal could have been 100% if the lobster tails had not been salty & one of the steaks was a little on the chewy side.

Our server Danielle was efficient and friendly. Looking forward to our next dining experience!
