Excellent Selection of meals with every dish rich and full of taste. I would highly recommend this place to all of my friends..
Excellent dinner, very attentive waitress and great service. Will return again.
Second time dining there, first time was 100% great. This time, my sister and her husband's meals were a little less than perfect. Steak and lamb were overdone, my BIL sent his steak back, it came back a little less done...but still not "medium" as he requested. JMI DID comp his martini (and he IS a little picky) - so you can't complain about that. My husband and I both ordered the chicken dish and it was delicious! I would definitely dine at JMI again, just not with my sister and her husband. :)
Great restaurant with reasonable lunch prices for excellent dishes.
My wife and I celebrated our anniversary at the Jamesport Manor Inn. We were not disappointed. It is a charming locale and the food and service are excellent. Prices were
not bad either. I would definitely recommend the Jamesport Manor Inn.
Jamesport Manor is just next door to the Dilberto winery (excellent, fun place) and just up the road a piece from one of my other favorite restaurants, the Jedediah Hawkins Inn. The Jamesport Manor Inn however unlike Jedediah Hawkins it is a restaurant only, with currently no rooms to let. I have dined here several times, all for lunch, and the food has been consistently delicious. As is my habit I order one of the specials of the day and today was no exception. Today was a beautiful asparagus bisque, and for the main entree, a good sized portion of Salmon complimented with a creamy aioli. The Jamesport Manor is an excellent place for a quiet lunch with friends as you don’t have to shout over the room din that is very common in many restaurants. The service was pleasant and attentive, the food served at the pace we were expecting. The menu has a good selection of options that I would describe as American, a range reflecting the influence of many cultures, undoubtedly with a unifying North Fork overtone. The pictures do not do the atmosphere justice as it was a rainy, cloudy day and as such the side patio was not yet open. I look forward to returning here both as a pre winery tour lunch as well as a post winery tour dinner.
Every time I go to the Jamesport Manor Inn, it seems to get better and better. The food selection is always changing so its nice to alwaya have new options. There is an excellent variety. The service was excellent, waitress was wonderful and the courses were timed well. It was packed but didn't feel busy or rushed, and it wasn't loud at all. Will be back soon!
The restaurant is located very near a vineyard in a lovely setting. The service is excellent and friendly. The food was also very good. We will definitely return to this wonderful restaurant. Wish I had found it sooner.
The service was wonderful and the food was outstanding. The shaved, iced lemon on top of the oysters was brilliant. It was the perfect start to our stay in Jamesport.
We had a wonderful lunch. I had the salmon special with vegetables. The salmon was delicious however the piece was a little small. My husband had the sesame tuna salad which was outstanding. The only surprise was the $4 for ice tea. We would definitely come again.
Absolutely one of the best lunches we have ever had! There were eight of us and ALL of us were happy with our meal. Service was terrific, table was cozy. We will be returning and quite often.
What a hidden gem! Charming spot with scenic view of horses/farm. Must try the Honey crusted brie appetizer!!!
Great restaurant. We have been coming here for several years and the food is always spot on. Get the chicken with goat cheese; it's the best chicken dish I've had at any restaurant, and the short ribs are delicous as well as the lamb chops. Will continue to return to this gem.
The Jamesport Manor Inn is one of the few very fine eating establishments in the area. The oyster are always wonderfully fresh and, as served with a lemon granite, very tasty. The filet mignon was cooked perfectly and the sauce was divine. The crème brulee is also a winner. It was only the Bloody Mary that was not top-notch.
We took advantage of restaurant week to celebrate our wedding anniversary and it was a perfect choice!
We were in the North Fork for wine tasting and booked dinner at Jamesport manor Inn. We were pleasantly surprised that it was Long island Restaurant week. Everything was delicious! The menu had something for everyone and the service was excellent. This was our second visit there and we highly recommend it!
Wonderful food is fabulous
Great sandwiches for lunch
Lovely grounds and all of the food was good! Nice service and comfortable atmosphere that still felt special.
Lovely atmosphere, cozy and a little elegant. In a beautiful home. Food was very good. No wait with a reservation. Very nice waitress.
The food was excellent !!! The service was okay. Waitress never smiled like she was not happy being there. She was a little pushy in getting our order though, there was only 2 tables with customers. 3 water glasses was never refilled so, i ask for water and the gentleman looked mad while refilling our water glasses. Otherwise, the food was really good. We would definitely go back for dinner
Wonderful service, food, atmosphere and view. Our group had a wonderful time and will come again.
Wait staff was terrific! We went there for my birthday and had a late reservation. We were aware that It was late but we never felt rushed out of there. The food was fantastic and the restaurant itself Was beautiful. Fantastic night!
This is one of the few restaurants that combines an elegant atmosphere with a tasty and imaginative menu. It is rare to find such an authentic decor that is also bright and airy. We also appreciated that the dining rooms were not noisy and close packed. We will be returning soon.
We enjoyed our meal at Jamesport Manor Inn. The food is delicious and the chef uses the freshest ingredients. The people are friendly and courteous. The atmosphere is historic and classy. We always have a good time and will definitely be returning.
We were unhappy with the limited menu , restaurant week provided . The regular menu was not available ,
Great service, friendly waitress and waitstaff. Excellent food worth the trip. Nice small quiet bar. Would highly recommend to anyone who has never been there yet. Nice view , We were seated by a window which was an added bonus BUT any table is perfect. Never feel rushed, perfect timing between courses.
We went early on a Sunday. Atmosphere is very pleasant. Waitress was unprofessional. She apologized for reaching across me but continually did so. (The bus boy walked around.)
The Restaurant week menu was limited but interesting. Food was adequate - chicken was a little dry.
Have had dinner at the Jamesport Manor Inn a number of times. The drive out East is always worthwhile. Food and service are excellent. This day the menu was limited to a few dishes that were being served in connection with Long Island Restaurant Week. The strawberry salad was original and a great treat. The short ribs main course was tasty and beautifully presented, as was the cookies and cream cheese cake.
Really excellent food and service. Classy atmosphere.
Always outstanding experience
Never fails to please!! Always fresh food, friendly service, amazing and delicious food.
First time for our Anniversary....Food, atmosphere, service...Wonderful!
It was so wonderful to find a place with a relaxed atmosphere, great food , and excellent service to share with some friends who traveled east for two hours just to get together. Everyone was very impressed.
