We enjoyed our meal at Jamesport Manor Inn. The food is delicious and the chef uses the freshest ingredients. The people are friendly and courteous. The atmosphere is historic and classy. We always have a good time and will definitely be returning.
We were unhappy with the limited menu , restaurant week provided . The regular menu was not available ,
Great service, friendly waitress and waitstaff. Excellent food worth the trip. Nice small quiet bar. Would highly recommend to anyone who has never been there yet. Nice view , We were seated by a window which was an added bonus BUT any table is perfect. Never feel rushed, perfect timing between courses.
We went early on a Sunday. Atmosphere is very pleasant. Waitress was unprofessional. She apologized for reaching across me but continually did so. (The bus boy walked around.)
The Restaurant week menu was limited but interesting. Food was adequate - chicken was a little dry.
Have had dinner at the Jamesport Manor Inn a number of times. The drive out East is always worthwhile. Food and service are excellent. This day the menu was limited to a few dishes that were being served in connection with Long Island Restaurant Week. The strawberry salad was original and a great treat. The short ribs main course was tasty and beautifully presented, as was the cookies and cream cheese cake.
Really excellent food and service. Classy atmosphere.
Always outstanding experience
Never fails to please!! Always fresh food, friendly service, amazing and delicious food.
First time for our Anniversary....Food, atmosphere, service...Wonderful!
It was so wonderful to find a place with a relaxed atmosphere, great food , and excellent service to share with some friends who traveled east for two hours just to get together. Everyone was very impressed.
My favorite wonderful food atmosphere drinks and service. Perfect!!
Wonderful restaurant. Great food. Cozy environment. Would definitely go again
Everything was excellent,...as always!!!
Great atmosphere, food, service for our family Easter lunch. We will return for further family dinners. Many thanks.
Food was good. Service was good. Definitely will visit again.
Our 40th Anniversary . Could have put a candle on the dessert but overall very very delicious meal!
The beauty and unique architecture of the exterior is a very welcoming experience. We were escorted upstairs to the dining area in the art gallery which was beautiful. The meal started with succulent oysters (the dollop of lemon ice on top was so good!) and the beet salad. The filet mignon was cooked to perfection (medium rare) and melted in my mouth while the lamb shank, seasoned and presented like an art piece also very delicious.
Always a favorite. Never disappoints.
Food and staff are superb.
Thank you for easily accommodating fourteen when our reservation was for seven.
Everyone commented on a great meal and service and I was pleased by a very reasonable bill.
We wanted to try this place since it was well reviewed. The service and food was great. My wife had the chicken entree which was amazing. I had the duck entree, the breast was cooked perfectly but I would have preferred the skin to be more rendered and crispy. The confit duck leg was the best part of the dish. The pork belly and grits app was great while the beet salad was solid. The atmosphere was refined but cozy. Service was great from entrance to exit.
Shell steak was amazing so were the "smashed" potatoes. Ambiance was nice and cozy, my only complaint was partially about the service. Our server forgot our appetizer so we waited for a while wondering where it was then our dinner came out. I didn't bother to mention it at that point. Also later they only brought out one of our desserts and I had to tell the server we were still waiting for the other one. I'd still recommend going, they just need to pay a bit more attention.
Super romantic place. Staff was courteous and professional. Food was excellent. Highly recommend!
A lovely dining experience - excellent food and beautiful ambiance.
Jamesport Manor is a jem of the north folk. My wife and I had a very romantic meal in a place that was beautiful. I thank the staff and the price was just right. We will be going back soon.
Appetizer and desert old, bread stale and cold, entries poorly prepared, waitress borderline rude, menu limited to pre-fix and least expensive regular items, unannounced and very expensive. Will never return and will let friends know of our experience.
old favorite, lunch with friends, perfect in every way. so comfortable we lingered for almost 2 hrs.
Cozy atmosphere, decent food, quiet. Have been here before for dinner - found the food better on dinner menu. Varied lunch menu and good desserts. Drinks on the expensive side. Thought there would be some festive holiday decorations... not so much!
Beautiful place for a memorable dining experience.
Went their with Friends for my Birthday. Everyone enjoyed their meal, the service was right on and the ambience was cozy and romantic.
Lovely atmosphere...good service...tasty food (brie appetizer is amazing)...varied menu with many options...open for lunch and dinner..open off season...great place!
a very special restaurant
only the finest ingredients matched by attentive service
My favorite place on the North Fork! Not only is the food amazing, so fresh, creative, and delicious, but the staff is helpful and cheerful and eager to please. The drinks are great. I'm always happy and relaxed when I'm lucky enough to dine here.
such a lovely place and we were very pleased with the food.
we look forward to our next visit there !
Overall a disappointment. The only good thing was the soup. Brie had way too much honey overwhelming the dish. One of lamb chops were gamey, second was fine; enough potatoes and green beans to feed a family of 4 to make up for 2 lamb chops. Salmon was way overcooked, like a hockey puck. Go elsewhere!
December 2, 2017 girls weekend. My first time at this Restaurant. Love the Inn our food was good but my salmon was dried and burnt. Not happy at all. Our waitress was wonderful and I mentioned it to her and the dessert was on the House. So they did the right thing.
Very very unfriendly meet and greet hostess , Luke warm soup, turkey was dry and below average , unattentive table service , - bad experience this time - not what you would expect for the price you pay
A perfect way to celebrate Thanksgiving!!
Fantastic food, beautiful setting. Never disappointed here!
Wonderful gem on the north fork with a varied menu and sumptuous specials. Great service and quiet ambiance. Recommend highly!
Good service and good food and lovely dining , very accommodating
