Always a favorite. Never disappoints.
Food and staff are superb.
Thank you for easily accommodating fourteen when our reservation was for seven.
Everyone commented on a great meal and service and I was pleased by a very reasonable bill.
We wanted to try this place since it was well reviewed. The service and food was great. My wife had the chicken entree which was amazing. I had the duck entree, the breast was cooked perfectly but I would have preferred the skin to be more rendered and crispy. The confit duck leg was the best part of the dish. The pork belly and grits app was great while the beet salad was solid. The atmosphere was refined but cozy. Service was great from entrance to exit.
Shell steak was amazing so were the "smashed" potatoes. Ambiance was nice and cozy, my only complaint was partially about the service. Our server forgot our appetizer so we waited for a while wondering where it was then our dinner came out. I didn't bother to mention it at that point. Also later they only brought out one of our desserts and I had to tell the server we were still waiting for the other one. I'd still recommend going, they just need to pay a bit more attention.
Super romantic place. Staff was courteous and professional. Food was excellent. Highly recommend!
A lovely dining experience - excellent food and beautiful ambiance.
Jamesport Manor is a jem of the north folk. My wife and I had a very romantic meal in a place that was beautiful. I thank the staff and the price was just right. We will be going back soon.
Appetizer and desert old, bread stale and cold, entries poorly prepared, waitress borderline rude, menu limited to pre-fix and least expensive regular items, unannounced and very expensive. Will never return and will let friends know of our experience.
old favorite, lunch with friends, perfect in every way. so comfortable we lingered for almost 2 hrs.
Cozy atmosphere, decent food, quiet. Have been here before for dinner - found the food better on dinner menu. Varied lunch menu and good desserts. Drinks on the expensive side. Thought there would be some festive holiday decorations... not so much!
Beautiful place for a memorable dining experience.
Went their with Friends for my Birthday. Everyone enjoyed their meal, the service was right on and the ambience was cozy and romantic.
Lovely atmosphere...good service...tasty food (brie appetizer is amazing)...varied menu with many options...open for lunch and dinner..open off season...great place!
a very special restaurant
only the finest ingredients matched by attentive service
My favorite place on the North Fork! Not only is the food amazing, so fresh, creative, and delicious, but the staff is helpful and cheerful and eager to please. The drinks are great. I'm always happy and relaxed when I'm lucky enough to dine here.
such a lovely place and we were very pleased with the food.
we look forward to our next visit there !
Overall a disappointment. The only good thing was the soup. Brie had way too much honey overwhelming the dish. One of lamb chops were gamey, second was fine; enough potatoes and green beans to feed a family of 4 to make up for 2 lamb chops. Salmon was way overcooked, like a hockey puck. Go elsewhere!
December 2, 2017 girls weekend. My first time at this Restaurant. Love the Inn our food was good but my salmon was dried and burnt. Not happy at all. Our waitress was wonderful and I mentioned it to her and the dessert was on the House. So they did the right thing.
Very very unfriendly meet and greet hostess , Luke warm soup, turkey was dry and below average , unattentive table service , - bad experience this time - not what you would expect for the price you pay
A perfect way to celebrate Thanksgiving!!
Fantastic food, beautiful setting. Never disappointed here!
Wonderful gem on the north fork with a varied menu and sumptuous specials. Great service and quiet ambiance. Recommend highly!
Good service and good food and lovely dining , very accommodating
Classy, warm, good food pleasantly served. Full bar and wine list.
Jamesport Manor exceeded our expectations. I highly recommend this restaurant. The food, atmosphere, and service was excellent!
Overall really great food inspired by local ingredients
Roasted pistachio nuts in beet salad were way overdone, beets, local, fantastic flavor
Braised beef ribs outstanding
Chicken special with goat cheese was very good but came with an orchid on top??? Weird
Desserts were good except that the excellent chocolate torte came with whipped cream out of a can, pumpkin gelato Sunday was very refreshing and a perfect end to the meal
For Reastaurant week Outstanding value!
We went here with friends for Long
Island Restaurant Week. I’d never been before and had a great time. I loved the style of the restaurant. Felt at home as I walked in the door. The food and drink was fantastic. Look forward to going again.
Very nice cozy place...visit when they are offering Restaurant week so you can judge for yourself. Options are limited. You can't go wrong with the pasta.
Very good food good. Service excellent. Should have free refills on an ice tea
We had a fabulous Dinner ! Excellent Food, Dessert and Wait Staff ! We'll be Back !
excellent would recommend to all food grt ty one of vest meals ever had
This is a favorite of ours for fine dining.
The food is always excellent and the staff is outstanding .... friendly, attentive and they work well as a team.
We are never disappointed.
The rack of lamb was delicious. The meal was topped off with a great desert, a whole baked apple, stuffed and topped with a scoop of gelato. The experience was great.
Took my wife here for the first time; we reserved for 6:00 and were seated right away but by 7:00 all seats were taken. We both enjoyed our meals; everything on the menu sounds great. There was plenty of vegetables; which we appreciated. Great dining experience, we will be back.
The food here is always fresh and well prepared farm to table food. Two of us had the tuna which was done perfectly rare. The duck pate and figs were the best I've had in a long time.
As usual the staff was friendly and courteous!
The Jamesport Manor Inn is a beautiful restaurant. The food is always delicious and the service excellent. Highly recommend it.
Food was delicious! Waitress and staff very friendly and attentive. Cozy atmosphere. I highly Recommend this restaurant .
A very pleasant place with great service! Don’t miss the roasted Fig salad. Delicious.
We had a group of 7 for a special gathering, people from out of state, together for the first time in several years and tied by loss. The venue was beautiful and historic, the menu was delightful, but the server was surprisingly brusque, as if we had intruded on her private space. She came to the table and asked if wanted drinks without giving us a wine list. Then came to the table and said she planned to take the entire order, "I'm taking it all at the same time." I told her no, we would order our appetizers first and order dinner later. After we settled that, she went through the motions competently, but our entire party was could not believe that I had to coach her on proper service. Our group enjoyed the meal, the food was good, but I don't think any of us will return because the service was so sorely and surprisingly inadequate.
First time there, really enjoyed the food, the service and the overall ambiance. It is good to have another good restaurant to visit on out trips to the vineyards on Eastern LI, specially the North Fork.
