The ambiance outside was lovely & our server was acceptably attentive & the food was good. My husband had the filet mignon which was tender and flavorful. I had the Ahi Tuna and it was fresh although the portion size was small. The food runners are young & inexperienced. They delivered our side of Brussel sprouts after we finished our meal. It would have been a nice touch to take it off the bill but it did not happen. We are partially at fault because we did not tell them to take them back. Still, it should have been gratis. Desert was ok but the ice cream was partially melted. They have raised prices since we were there last month. We may not be back & that’s sad because we live so close.
Excellent staff and delicious food!
The food was unimpressive. My sandwich was cold. The service was rather slow. The atmosphere was lovely.
Restaurant very crowded as it was a Saturday evening and beautiful weather for sitting out. Food was a little slow but the waitress was always checking on us to see if we needed anything. Food was delicious.
Outdoor dining is beautiful and they have a new menu for autumn that is worth trying. Great friendly service is a constant!
Outstanding. Our meals—baked brie and lobster guacamole to start, duck and seared ahi for mains—were excellent. The kitchen deserves applause on food prep, quality and presentation. Drinks well made and timely delivered. Atmosphere is intimate and uncrowded with lovely views. Five star staff—server Kerry and busgirl Courtney in particular made our experience top notch.
Although they were short staffed, this team did an incredible job of making us feel welcome and of providing excellent service. We arrived early so we had to wait at the bar for a few minutes and even those the female server was doubling as a bartender, she was able to get us a drink while we waited. We then were seated at a very nice table outside and they immediately brought water and bread. Since we already had our drinks we focused on the menu. Our server came promptly and we were ready to order. My wife ordered the beet salad and the duck entrée. My wife is a big duck fan and felt this duck was right up there with the best. I had the duck drum sticks. They were incredible and I highly recommend them. For my entrée I had the tuna. It was cooked perfectly but more importantly the cole slaw bed was a bit spicy and delicious. All in all a fun summer evening.
Always delicious. Atmosphere is relaxing and can eat outside if preferred! Service is great
Enjoyed entire meal, one halibut slightly overcooked, otherwise fabulous
Jamesport Manor Inn is a reliable place for a nice dinner. I know and understand the industry has had a hard time hiring but it seemed like they had a decent amount of staff but everyone seemed to be scurrying around. The restaurant was steady, not super busy yet but after our waitress took our order she was MIA. She checked in once after we had our food but just gave the impression that she could care less. What could have been an excellent dinner was just good due to the service of our waitress or lack there of.
Excellent food and service. Will definitely return!
One of our favorite restaurants. James Port Manor never disappoints
Love the JMI! Setting, service, food - all first rate.
quaint manor inn with quality food and attentive service. Beautiful farm setting
What a beautiful experience. We were celebrating a milestone birthday and we had the most romantic evening ever in the tented outdoor area. We overlooked some horses grazing in a pasture across the street and had the most delightful meal with friendly gracious service. It was wonderful and I would go back in a heartbeat.❤️
The outdoor setting on an early summer evening is delightful for drinks...dinner makes it too buggy. Tuna appetizer was excellent and other fish entrees all good. The decor could use some work, but it’s a lovely place.
The food is always delicious and the ambiance is perfect. The servers are always very pleasant. Will definitely be going back soon!
Food was great! Cocktails were great! And staff was better than great!
Very pleasant ambiance. We ate outside in the early evening. Staff were incredibly pleasant, local youngster from what I could tell and they were terrific. Food was very good, had the fluke and corn ravioli. Yummm.
Great place to eat - can always count on being pleased with everything.
Great Menu, Great room and atmosphere and the waiter was fantastic!! we will be back.
Great food and ever changing menus. Great place for Lunch or dinner or both.
I highly recommend this wonderful quaint restaurant on Long Islands North Fork. The food was excellent as was the service
We had an excellent meal here. Our server Wendy was excellent!
The Jamesport Manor Inn is our go to spot for a quiet date night. The food is always excellent as is the service.
Beautiful, quiet place to dine. Outside dining looks like dining in someone’s garden. We at inside at a window table. Private and lovely. Food is always delicious and top quality. The service is always attentive. We had the filet mignonette which was so delicious but expensive. 59$. But it was awesome. Prices are high everywhere do to their costs. We go pretty much every Sunday
Really delightful location and venue. Service and food are both superb.
First and Foremost the Food was excellent and presented beautifully. Shout out to Amanda for being most professional and Funny!!!
We will definitely be returning to this establishment.
Excellent lunch, ravioli was great as was the BLAT!
The Jamesport Manor Inn Jamesport like on downhill it is not the same as it happened. Sorry it was not friendly at all the food was less than fair. Very disappointing will never return
Although menu was limited, we enjoyed everything we ordered. Service & ambiance was very good.
It was our 55th anniversary, and I mentioned it in my reservation. Thought they would acknowledge it with a dessert, or something on the house, but they didn’t 🥲.
Excellent service, good and quiet atmosphere.
Last night my husband and I had a very lovely and delicious dinner at the Jamesport Manor Inn. It had been a hot day, but a gentle breeze was blowing on the patio and we were not feeling warm. The waitress was professional and friendly, very efficient, and the cocktails were just the thing. My duck was prepared just the way I like it, medium, with juices running a bit. The sides of polenta and snow peas were a perfect counterpoint to the savory duck. My husband had the tuna, rare, and by the way he scarfed it down I think it was very flavorful. We'll be coming back...soon I hope.
Absolutely perfect place! This is a hidden gem with beautiful ambiance and delicious food.
The initial impression was quite high upon our arrival since the inn is so quaint. The server was so lovely, friendly and professional.
We all enjoyed our drinks that were generously filled and I especially enjoyed my glass of rose from a local vineyard. Our salads were delicious and the baked crusted Brie was a big hit!! Ironically we all decided to have the same entree almond crusted fluke that was outstanding. There wasn’t a morsel left on anyone’s plates. 5 star lunch all the way! We can’t wait to go back.
I’ve eaten here three times and the food is very good. I’ve ordered the same appetizers and they are consistent in their preparation. Overall, very satisfying dining experience. Staff is attentive and friendly. We prefer to sit outside if we can as the property is lovely.
Always excellent! Always!
Always a great experience. I recommend the brie for appetizer. So delicious!! The roasted chicken and seafood pasta was also great.
The backyard is beautiful in the summer, and the food is very good. Gets quite buggy in the evening but our waitress was kind enough to let us finish our meal inside.
