Again the Ivy Chelsea Garden provided a great experience. They also kept a table for us at their lovely terrace as per my request. Thank you very much...it was very important for me
Brunch. Overall I thought it was good, but not on the level I expected from The Ivy brand's reputation. The service was OK, although our pastries arrived well after we had eaten our main breakfast dish, we also had to remind the waiter that we had not received them, of which he was apologetic about. The Christmas decorations outside were amazing.
A fabulous evening celebrating my parents wedding anniversary, great service, good food and wonderful venue.
Love The Ivy Chelsea Garden but sometimes the noise level is just too high as it was on Saturday night. We found ourselves having to almost shout to each other to be heard.
Everything else was great, would highly recommend.
I have been always choosing ivy chealsea with its all dining pleasure. First time i experienced on my husband s birthday with such delay on our drinks, took 30mins. After warning we could have it and offered for a free drink
Super meal in a fabulous setting. Service in general was good however table was not ready for 20 minutes, main course took 30 minutes to come after starters and therefore being asked to vacate our table having not finished dessert and coffees was not acceptable.
Lovely restaurant and great food. Great birthday celebration and they even brought out a little cake to say happy birthday!
The Ivy Chelsea Garden is by far the best Ivy restaurant, from the moment you arrive outside you know it’s going to be fabulous. The staff are outstanding very attentive, service first class, food delicious and ambience perfect.
My experience was extraordinary, I had invited a friend to celebrate her viva defence. The waiter at our table was extremely nice and helpful. I asked her what can I order for a celebration desert. She didn’t let me overthink it, very smoothly she went and brought us those lovely celebration desert I didn’t knew about at no extra charge. Her smile, help and politeness was one of the main factor that my experience was excellent. Will definitely come again and I already told more that 5 of my friends. Best place 🌹 thank you
We had a great time at the Ivy. The bar was a bit slower to deliver drinks, but the server was kind. I would recommend this spot and would most certainly go again
Very good table with great food and atmosphere. Efficient and enjoyable service. Nothing was a problem.
Food was absolutely delicious...really nice atmosphere!
Food excellent service fantastic, however don’t see the point in being asked half way through my meal how was it. If it wasn’t you’d know about it anyway if it’s ok then I don’t need to be disturbed
Beautiful restaurant in chic location. Service impeccable and food excellent.
Amazing place , terrace is great and food is very good .
Ivy Chelsea Garden was a fabulous experience as always. Fantastic food and service. We held our wedding reception here and always visit when we are in London. Huge thanks to Pedro and his team!
Too pricey for some average and boring food.
Busy and noisy as well, skip if you don’t do instagram pictures at the front.
We were impressed....congratulations on running an operation like this with pleasant and efficient staff and with excellent food to match turned out consistently well. With a knowlegable barman, who knew his stuff this was an excellent expereience - well done to all concerned.
Amazing atmosphere. Good food with value for money. Friendly staff.
Bel endroit bien décoré, repas excellent. Lieu un peu bruyant mais très bien dans l’ensemble
Bad night for The Ivy on so many fronts. Absolutely everything went wrong. Table wasn’t ready for 30 mins, the chef sent the waiter back to tell me the tempura prawns that I’d ordered as as a starter were ‘not in good shape to be served’, our mains were very late because of ‘a problem with the machine’ which meant we had to rush them as we’d booked a babysitter, and to top it off the cloakroom hung my coat next to someone’s fur coat which left hairs all over it.
The cakes and sweet bowls were delicious but the sandwiches were dry and not very tasty. It was the end of the tea sitting but that’s no excuse for a restaurant as prestigious as this.
The hostesses at the entrance are very smiley. They showed us to a table right next to two serving stations. we then could only get a table next to one serving station. The waiter was excellent however the other staff had no respect for our table as they placed dishes at the serving station and tapped on the till etc. They couldn't have cared a less. Delicious zucchini and black cod.
Chaos when we arrived but fabulous manager who sorted everything out
It was too hectic and service was very slow. Food was delicious.
This used to be a pub and on arrival it seem to remind a bit of this. The staff were perfectly nice and welcoming although a little distant - slightly "we have done this all before". The food was OK - however our fish was "crumbly" and not in "flakes" as good fish should be. It tasted good, the chips were very tasty and lots of them. The steak tartare was good. It was noisy or we were on noisy table? Overall a fun place to be - just pity the standards quite didn't match.
Lunch at the Ivy Chelsea Garden is an enjoyable experience although at times pretty noisy and difficult to hold a normal conversation.
Over riding everything below the service from James Secombe was outstanding
All in all it is a very professional operation, however -
The pre dinner drinks took FAR too long to arrive
The lighting at our table was pretty dire in that you can't read the menu or wine list without struggling - all 5 at our table agreed
Service was superb. To be offered a free alternative dish as the last lobster shepherd pie was overcooked was extremely appreciated, as was the honesty as to what had happened. Definitely will visit again. Thank you to all the team.
It is a very loud dining room but the service was excellent and the food good and not too pricy.
We were celebrating my sister’s graduation, there was 6 people and a child. Everyone really enjoyed the food and the place itself. The service was very friendly and helpful. I would recommend Ivy Garden for sure, especially if you want to celebrate anything special.
Was great place for afternoon Tea 👌👌
Fish and chips bit soggy but the shepherds Pie fantastic as usual.
Lovely setting and fantastic service
Beautiful restaurant with great ambiance. Always very delicious food and great service. Just love this restaurant.
Service as usual slow, also the booking of preferable tables is poor. Always get poor tables by the doors.
However the food was up to the Ivy high standard. Always consistently good and I would rate highly.
I understand that all the Ivy’s tend to be busy but the management should think about table allocations or they will start loosing customers.
Sadly our waiter was particularly off and suggest he is in the wrong job
Moved 3 times
Service was lacking
Food was expensive and fine
had a fabulous brunch and I would recommend the lobster benedict.. delicious!!
Staff was rude, made us wait 20 minutes for a table even though I had a reservation.
The waitress was very RUDE!
We loved the Christmas decor at front of restaurant - winter wonderland! Only topped by the special Snow Fight pudding.
