Good food and great staff. Fairly noisy but wouldn’t put us off visiting again.
It’s a very cute place, hidden away from the high street. Once you walk in, you are treated very well. It was a special occasion, a birthday treat so the lady at the front just checked with us. She showed us to our table and was very friendly and inviting. BUT the waiter who attended us was terrible. Not sure whether he thought it was banter but he came across very rude and put an uncomfortable tinge on the morning. We were waiting for someone but when we decided to order and approached him he said we’d have to wait 20 minutes as we’d taken ages to order in first place. He was not nice. Then another kind waiter surprised the birthday girl with a little cake which was a lovely unexpected surprise. The horrible waiter then came over and just kept looking and then asked if the birthday girl had eaten the candle as it wasn’t on table???!!!??? I mean really???!!!?!
The relationship between price and quality was, as always, excellent. I think you are very effectively hitting the target of quality food ant a price which is reasonable for you and for us, the customers.
Food, very good. Wine, excellent. Service was very efficient and they never made us feel like we needed to hurry up and leave.
Very enjoyable experience.....again!
Such a brilliant brunch with friends, made all the more special by the most lovely welcome and wonderful service overall!
Very welcoming, friendly and efficient staff. Good food
Wonderful food, only thing rather draughty sitting at table no 7 with glass window behind us. Need replacing or draughtproofing.
Lovely meal to celebrate a birthday. Staff were really friendly and the food was tasty. Thanks
Excellent food with a friendly welcome. One improvement would be having more time in between courses. I felt quite rushed to order a dessert straight after my main.
This was a great choice for a meet up with an old friend. Lovely atmosphere.
Crowded restaurant and a bot noisy, but overall it was very good and would go again
Great service and food as always, just a nice place to spend time
Ivy is always a good place to be. The food quality changes however, even when you visit the same Ivy. this time it was a bit disappointing. Also it would be nice if the vegetarian dishes are more creative that the usual butter squash. Still a good place to be.
Great place and the duck curry was beyond amazing!!!! Love it. Next time I’ll try the wine out with Dry Jan! :)
Great cozy ambience
Perfect venue for a business lunch. Chose the signature again - wise choice as it never fails to disappoint.
Service was amazing, and was lovely ambiance inside. I had the veg breakfast which was great, but toast was cold and they apologised and replaced immediately. Will definitely return for brunch.
Nice atmosphere and decor.
The menu has a good selection, we both chose starters which was ample for us.
The food was excellent and the service.
Busy lunchtime so glad we booked.
Love the atmosphere in the Ivy Cafe, great service, good food, had a lovely time.
The restaurant was very busy on this Tuesday lunchtime, with a great “buzz”. The food was excellent and the service very good. We were not rushed at all and the timing of the courses was very good. The only negative was that we had to wait a long time for the bill because the waiter was in prolonged discussion with another diner and did not notice we were waiting. This is a lovely, friendly place with great food.
Very good as always at an Ivy. Slightly more cramped surroundings than found in Ivy Collection restaurants but still good service, food and ambience.
Really enjoyed a special meal here with the family. Great choice and delicious food. Loved the decor
My husband and I enjoyed eating here although I was disappointed with a starter that I had the Laverstock Park Farm Mozzarella di Buffala with crispy artichokes pear and truffle honey as it was far too sweet and alas I expected some real chargrilled artichokes but what was actually on the plate had nothing to do with artichokes! The other dishes else were great.
Slow service. Found staff to be rude. Food was poorly seasoned
This is a very pleasant, good value restaurant in the heart of London. Convenient for shopping, the Wigmore Hall and the Wallace Collection. Nice ambience and friendly, efficient service with good food.
On our honeymoon, celebrating our wedding.
Delicious meal at the Ivy Cafe.. intense flavours and interesting menu. Good wine list. Serving staff were helpful and friendly, Tables rather shoe-horned in , but in spite of being busy Saturday lunchtime , we were well looked after and the food was delivered promptly and piping hot. Great place to meet up with friends.. excellent location. Very enjoyable.
We appréciated thé english food and thé ambiance
Very good service, decent food and not outrageous prices. Good Atmosphere.
Very good service. Very welcoming. Food was pleasant but Totally overpriced
Been to Ivy Cafe many times and always very, very good. Service, food, atmosphere and value all good.
Really nice place. Nice welcome and we had excellent service. The bill was less than I thought!
Good food. Good location. Slightly expensive. The waitress helped to ensure the food choices were appropriate for the intolerances that were noted. Would’ve been useful and more empowering to have a menu that highlighted the allergens in a more obvious way. We are both gluten intolerant and the menu didn’t highlight which dishes we could have, which is unusual for restaurants in London.
The Ivy never fails to deliver. It’s the perfect place for any occasion or just a relaxed breakfast , brunch, dinner - love it !
Food and decor was nice. Service was unfriendly and rushed unfortunately.
Very good food, excellent service in a busy but not overcrowded cafe with a relaxed stylish ambience.
It was my friends birthday. We placed an order but the waiter did not inform us about the last order as they are suppose to inform you before the kitchen closes.
We were all new in the city to know the timings ourself. Hence why service was a bit on lower grade. Also the manager of the resturant thought we paid less whereas it was his computer system was was playing up and he ended up apologizing.
The food was very good.
The only thing I didn't like is that the tables are too close to each other and it's very noisy.
Always consistently very good with polite, attentive staff. Really a Marylebone stalwart!
Awful service, awfully cooked steak. Third time I have been here and had the same problem.
As always a fabulous place to eat and all the staff are so friendly making you feel very special.
