   the food was awesome and the service was excellent but eating out on the "Patio" was really tables on the sidewalk with too many people walking nexuses to the table and too many Very Loud cars driving by the tables. I suggest getting a table indoors.

   The menu was extensive with lots of choices for everyone. Service was excellent. On the downside the tables were close together and hard to hear at times as well as some Servers bumping into my chair. The big one was the AC was not working so well.

   Food was excellent. Service outstanding. If you love food and want to eat at a place where the employees love food as well, come here. We dined with our kids (10 & under) and the staff was very accommodating & kind to them.

   It has a cozy and warm atmosphere. We split the tomato and spinach salad with basil vinaigrette dressing. It was tasty. We also split the spaghetti and meatballs. It only comes with one meatball, so we ordered an extra. This, too, was excellent. The bread was served warm. The service was attentive but not obstructive.

   We went at 3pm. Very slow. But it was nice. The food was great as always. I travel to New Orleans about once a year and alwyas plan to eat here. Never disappoints. The mishroom truffle ravioli is my go to

    Loved our dinner! We all ordered very different things and everyone loved their meals. Oddly, it took FOREVER to be acknowledged when we arrived, and we did have a reservation. Our server was fabulous and took the sting off that for the rest of the night.

    Fantastic meal! Everything was delicious! We started with the Bresaola, which was incredible, then split the Gnocci, Fire Roasted Tomato Ravioli, and the Spaghetti Aglio Olio Pepperoncino. It's impossible to pick a favorite because they were all so good and cooked to perfection! We'll definitely be back!

    We booked our table for our anniversary two months in advance, and we weren’t disappointed. Table was ready upon our arrival, and we had the pleasure to be served by Zoe. Her recommendations and the overall experience was outstanding. I would strongly recommend a restaurant if you’re seeking authentic Italian food.

    Well, I must say we were sorely disappointed in our visit to Italian Barrel this trip. We had a great table for a 5:30 reservation on Saturday night. The hostess was very friendly and seated us immediately. The place was absolutely packed! SO VERY noisy, tons of flies in the window buzzing around our table, Front door of restaurant left open most of the entire time we were there, and we felt as if our server was rushing us the whole time. The meal was not nearly as good as I remembered from a year ago and EVERYTHING we ordered had a million grape tomatoes on it! The veal with pasta was just okay. Side of spinach was fair. Great house red and Chardonnay wine and the shaved Parmesan cheese is fabulous. Way too expensive for such an experience, in all fairness, it was graduation weekend.

We have 1 entrance that we use very frequently as you can see for busy nights and with the constant flow it does bring our outside critters in. If there's ever an issue with your food experience please ask for a manager or inform your server. We never want our guest to leave without a chance to rectify. Thank you again for the feedback!     Hostess was rude when we arrived telling us to wait outside for 10 minutes or so til our reserved table was ready. If they expect you to wait outside there should at least be a bench where you can sit down. Formerly there was an inside bench to wait but now there is a table there. Waiter was excellent, only hostess was rude. We love this restaurant so especially disappointing.

Our space is Extremely small & unfortunately we simply do not have the waiting area. I will utilize your feedback and provide chairs for waiting as we have not been presented with this problem before. Most of our guests enjoy the views while waiting the short time. The table at the door was also seated with guests which left no area inside for waiting. I do apologize for the inconvenience

    Service was great. The food was AMAZING! Party off four - Everyones dishes were excellent. Highly recommend the crabmeat salad, pesto shrimp scampi and the gnocchi. The Chilean sea bass special was also delicious. 2nd time dining here and it was just as delicious as the first time. Cocktails were also excellent. They make their own bourbon and the old fashions were very good!

    Over priced , cold bland food. We came with a party of 10 , 4 of us had to send food back, the vesl was bland and under seasoned. The best part about this place was the warm bread. Spent 500.00 with zero alcohol, water only and main entrees. Will NEVER return.

    Great find. In NOLA for only 5 nights but ate there twice. Not least due to the fabulous service from Jaume. Really fun lady and really engaging and super helpful. Food was fabulous. My wife swears the truffle pasta was THE best she has had. Great experience. Highly recommended.

    On entry to the restaurant the general outlook was good, unfortunately this was short lived, our waiter was rather pompous, used closed answering and frankly had a lack of knowledge. The amount of tables in this very small restaurant is not acceptable, it is very cramped but should you like listening and being involved in your next table’s conversation, this is the place for you. The starters were very nice but on arrival of our mains these did not live up to expectations, the pasta dishes apart from one were very “al dente” and the veal overdone, we expect this is due to being cooked too early and waiting under a heat lamp. After finishing the our meal, our meal came again. We noticed that many other meals were being sent twice. Not sure what had happened but evidently the restaurant needs to sort the problems with either the technology or their own processes. It’s such a shame as we were hoping for a lovely meal. After this review the restaurant contacted me offering us a dessert and drinks if we went back in exchange for getting me to take the review down. Another display of how not to do things.
