Great food and the service was superior on Thanksgiving Day!
Thanksgiving dinner -- very nice presentation and good food. Wish there had been a second vegetarian option - not everyone appreciates risotto which was rather plain and not festive unlike all of the other dishes.
Delicious Thanksgiving dinner from butternut squash soup to enormous helping of turkey (white and dark), stuffing, fresh green beans, balls of mashed and sweet potatoes, ending with pumpkin pie topped with whipped cream and ice cream on the side. Terrific bargain for $50. Wait staff friendly and quick, quiet atmosphere. We were here last year and will return next year.
Menu presented by Opentable when I made the reservation was not available on the day that the reservation was for. Please ensure that holiday menus and limitations for holidays are accurately posted. I am not sure if the issue is with Opentable or the restaurant.
Charming atmosphere with very good food and thoughtful, caring staff. We were there for Thanksgiving dinner and they did a great job with the fixed price 3-course meal. We really enjoyed our meal and the whole experience and look forward to going back.
Excellent experience all over..food was fabulous...
Always superb , wonder atmosphere, makes you feel like you are on vacation with friends
Wonderful comfortable ambience for a nice family meal with 3 generations having lunch after attending Mass together. Delicious and down to earth.
ONCE AGAIN A GREAT MEAL
HAVE BEEN HERE MANY TIMESS
Really disappointed with the Inn. Service struggled and the food was lackluster. Not sure I will go back anytime soon. Too bad!
There were bugs crawling on our table and the waiter brought us the wrong entrees.
For dinner or for lunch, the Irish Inn is a WINNER! Great menu selection, friendly, accommodating staff, great menu selection and moderate prices. Love the dinner specials, usually fish/seafood. It's a great place to take out of town guests or have a productive business lunch! I live in Arlington and keep going back!
Great experience, good food, good ambiance, excellent service!
Nice, warm and classic restaurant with variety of drink and platters. We order “Mediterranean platter” and it was delicious. We love hummus. Good beer and comfort place. Jaime the waiter was an excellent person performing a great friendly service. Definitely a good place.
Many menu options. Waiter was attentive. Service was well paced. We were not rushed. Portions were good. Tables well spaced.
The Irish Inn at Glen Echo never disappoints. The service is always friendly, and the food is outstanding.
Another excellent Irish fare dinner, with complementary birthday desserts. Fantastic service and super safe outdoor seating, too. Love this restaurant!
The Irish stew and Corned beef and Cabbage were Devine.
Our only preference, not a complaint would be for them to break up the slices of Corned beef so it does look like slabs.
Great and friendly service. . Crab cakes were fabulous
The place is awesome. Everything is great. What more can I say?
We are local, we love to go to the Irish Inn, always they make you feel welcome and the service it’s outstanding.
Four of us spent a breezy Sunday at a late lunch - was it early dinner? - outside at the Irish Inn. We were met promptly and graciously, and although service was a tad slow, we have to remember the distances servers manage from kitchen to grounds.
We ordered a round of drinks and starters, then a second starter. Our meals included one salad with lamb chops added (delicious); one crab cake sandwich, and two Jameson-spiked shepherd's pies. Everyone was completely happy with the drink, the food, and the well behaved dogs who are an accepted part of the Inn's well assembled outdoor scene. Desserts featured fresh apple crumble except for one delightful order of Bailey's mousse. The Irish Inn has made the very best of Covid reality, managing a gracious outside atmosphere. Someday we hope to assemble inside, but while the weather and food are fine, let's do it this way; well worth a side trip.
Love this place - best Irish in DC! The atmosphere is brilliant and there is plenty of parking.
Comfortable outdoor seating with good service and great food
Great outdoor dining.
Great ambience. Outdoors usually available. Good food.
I enjoyed their crab cake sandwich with salad on the side. Delicious.
We had a lovely lunch outside in the new open area created out of former parking. There is still plenty of parking. Service was truly outstanding. And our entree salads were prepared exactly as we asked. The day was beautiful and everyone could feel completely safe and well cared for.
Sat outside on a beautiful day with friends that I have not seen because Covid. The whole lunch was wonderful in all areas.
The day was lovely and we sat out in the parking lot and enjoyed a fine summer lunch.
Great place for kids and dogs
Great food , great service, wonderful ambiance. Loved it
Terrific place for a laid back dinner ! Excellent drinks and service.
As always, a very enjoyable lunch with friends at the Irish Inn at Glen Echo. I had the mandarin orange and spinach salad topped with medium rare salmon. The food was delicious. The only negative comment is that the side porch was noisy as it can be when crowded.
I’m sorry I forgot to let you know my name at the entrance. We were two Asian women sitting at the patio. I’m sorry if you had a table reserved for us inside!
Enjoyed a spectacular evening on the open porch - it's good to see everything back in place and a full pub!
Great outdoor seating available. Dogs are welcome. Service is very attentive.
Dining out on their deck was delightful. The food was not exceptional but was good and nicely served. If you're ordering the Bailey's mousse, watch out--don't drive!
A perfect and delicious visit. We 3 loved the quiche, fish ‘n chips and shepherds pie.
Our waiter was very personable and attentive. Full of joy! The brunch was perfect, as usual. I love this restaurant.
