It's a pub drinks good food ok prices ok for NYC
Food was Luke warm, mediocre and tasteless. service was haphazard and slow at best ! The Shepherds pie was mostly unseasoned potatoes and the Chicken curry was served with hot rice and freezing cold chips.
The wait staff was extremely prompt and friendly. The fish and chips was burnt and was returned. Disappointing for an Irish pub. The burgers were good.
I recommend the Irish American burger. It was so good. I didn't think I would like it but I loved it. There is no service in the restaurant due to it being underground. It has free wifi though
Great customer service !! Good Irish breakfast... neat place to go if you are a soccer fan
In basement. Only went there because was Sunday and lots other lower Manhattan places closed and was close to hotel. Just not my type of thing and food was just fair.
Très beau pub et cuisine, serveur au top, bonne ambiance..très bon rapport qualité prix
Large place, great selection of drinks, good quality eats.
Had St. Patrick's Day meal. Corned beef and cabbage was very authentic. Bar service was okay considering the crowd.
The food was okay. The fries could have been hotter. I thought the chicken could have been cooked more on the sandwich we ordered.
food was good, service good. no complaints. we each had different entrees, shared an appetizer and had drinks. Portions were good size. We were in a rush as we had theatre tickets but overall this is a good pub.
The staff was friendly. The food was good. It's one of the more reasonably priced places to dine near the Trade Center. It is downstairs and not handicapped accessible.
I love this place ,and I always tell ppl to come ,oh and the service is excellent .
Karaoke is a big plus .
Went as family to Freedom Tower and ate dinner here. Place is downstairs and had a "B" health rating. Ordered appetizers and burgers. Chicken wings were burnt in fryer with sauce over them, just didn't eat them. Really gross wings! Didn't even tell waiter because we wouldn't eat a new batch. Burgers were just blah at best. Service was good. Always asking if we needed anything and refilling water.
The food was great. It was very cold and steep steps for my 90 year old mom.
The Barbaque Chicken Wrap was horrible, it made tow of my staff sick, this will be our last visit there.
Good for a late night snack. Good staff, good service, and a well-mannered later crowd, that was well served and managed by real professionals of the business.
We went there for St. Patrick's day, just two of us hoping to get a good Irish pub experience. They didn't have any idea we had a reservation so we ended up waiting for a table and then were cramped back in a corner. They were friendly employees but the food was only fair and, I know it's NYC and St. Patrick's Day, but $9 for a plastic cup of Guinness? Food was fair but expensive too...it was a rowdy place which was fun for St. Paddy's but when you're stuck in a corner away from the scene it translates to just noise. I'd recommend to go if you just want to sit at the bar and have a drink but not for food or fun dining.
Have been here before ... It is a good solid place for a lunch with the girls from work. Salads were large and delicious. The sandwiches were great too. Service was wonderful. Have been here when it is both busy and quiet and, thankfully, service has been good on both occasions.
Under ground and had a bit of a odor. the place was very empty for lunch. The server was very very good and attentitive. Ordered a burger and it was delicious. The place just needs an updating and some DampRid.
So this joint is more of a bar with lots of beers than an eating place, but my college student and I were wanting comfort food after a long plane trip and were not disappointed. The bangers and mash with onion gravy was amazing. He had a lamb burger and also loved it. I'm not a beer guy, so I had a long island iced tea, which was fine but I prefer them a little sweeter. The cheesecake was solid, not amazing but very satisfying. It was not at all crowded when we went in around 7PM on a Wednesday night (no surprise there), but enough people were there so it didn't seem dead. Service was good, keeping in touch without being annoying.
awesome games, great atmosphere, good food at reasonable prices, just a good time all around!
We went to the Irish American Pub on the day NYC hosted the Ticker Tape Parade for the Women's World Cup Soccer Champions. We were with Irish family members from out of town and we found it via Open Table. The food was nice, typical pub food, good salads, great burgers, somewhat limited menu but traditional Irish favorites. We had kids with us ranging from 14 to 19. We all had fun. We did not expect a wait. They did not use Open Table properly by the admission of the waitress who said "we have a table for you but not due to Open Table". ??? We waited an inordinately long time for drink and food, and this was disappointing. My salad was salmon, very fresh very tasty but not massive. The burgers were top notch. It was pretty slow at that time, as the parade goers were pretty much gone. So it didn't seem to make sense that it took so long to serve our lunches.
The staff was friendly, helpful and quick. The menu had a variety of food for all tastes. The food was good, hot and quick. For this neighborhood a rare find. I'll be back.
A nice large bar/restaurant with good prices. Nice game room.
We dined here as tourists looking for a place to watch an NBA game. This place was right down the street so we stopped in. Had the sliders and a special (pot pie), both were delicious, as well as a yummy brownie. We had three different servers waiting in us, and the food came really quickly. We had a little trouble getting the TV switched to the game, but all the waiters were trying to help us get it.
nice place, not my top ten but the service was good and the server was very nice. the food was average, nothing stood out.
The Bar is great for groups but if you are looking for a nice dinner it is not on par with the other offerings in the neighbourhood.
their food and drink are good. but service are slow and some time bring us wrong drink.
Poor service, very loud. good for the bar crowd but not the advertised dining.
Not a large Irish food selection though.
Good pub downstairs near WTC. Well taken care of, clean and great service. Good food and diverse menu. I'd go back!
The barbecue chicken wings and the sweet potato fries were delicious. The burgers were tasty as well. I would definitely come back again.
