The Courier Post recently honored the Inn with three & a half stars boasting, “Owner/chef Larry Boylan has put a kitchen full of thought into his waterside Inn at Sugar Hill.” That “thought” process has been ongoing for Boylan & his Inn for 22 years now, with no signs of letting up. “ I believe a good dining experience has the ability to not only nourish the body, but also nourish a persons’ soul… to be able to reach out & touch someone on that level is a high that gives me a lot of satisfaction & motivates me”, states Boylan. As an authentic Country Inn, the Inn at Sugar Hill has always strives to provide old world hospitality to both its’ dining & bed & breakfast guests. This philosophy has led to creating menus that reflect not only current culinary trends, but also respect the palates of those less adventurous. “Before I print a new menu I always look it over & say… what are my parents going to order & then… what are my teenage daughters going to like!

The main Inn boasts three intimate dining rooms graced with fireplaces, floral wallpaper & linen draped tables that accommodate from 12 to 32 guests. The entire inn can be reserved for 75 guests. Along the 200 foot bulkhead there are brick terraces that when tented can host receptions for up to 100 guests. Call the restaurant for more information.

Enjoyed the birthday dinner for my husband; his favorite restaurant. The wait staff and manager were great. Always enjoy sitting near a fireplace. The food was delicious. My salmon was a little undercooked for my taste, but there was no problem in getting it a little more cooked. When making the dinner reservation, I did request a piece of cake with a candle for my husband's birthday, which we didn't get, so that was the only thing that was a little disappointing, but no big deal.

My husband and I went here for Valentine's day. The staff was very friendly and the food was delicious! Would definitely recommend the Sugar Hill Inn!

Each of 4 diners choose a different meal. They each were simply delicious. Shrimp, mixed grill, scallops and steak. One was as wonderful as the next. Can't wait to go back!!

Been here many time over the years...for Dinner and the Cozy little bar, even stayed at the Inn Once!!! I have also been out by the water in the warm weather and as always, had a great time and it was simply the best!!! Thank you!!!

Everything was outstanding. Neal the host was very nice. HE even held the door open
for us when we left. The carrot cupcake was delicious, it was a great way to top off a wonderful
dinner.

The dinner was overall very good with one exception, one of my guests ordered a hamburger medium well done, the burger was very burned as well as the bun which was actually charred black and this should not have even been presented to my guest the way it was. The server should have refused to present it and demand another burger on behalf of my guest. My guest didn't want to cause a commotion and disrupt the dinner so he ate what small portion he could without saying anything. Everything else was very nice and i would recommend your restaurant anytime.

The inn at sugar hill is an outstanding place to have a nice meal. The staff is wonderful, very friendly, and accommodating. I will be eating there again very soon.

We enjoyed our quiet dinner on the porch, few people in the restaurant due to the snow storm. We would like to try this gem in warmer weather to sit outside.
