The Inn at Langley is a tasting menu restaurant on Whidbey Island featuring plant and sea based food. We offer two menu experiences. Our set tasting menu is a 5-8 course dinner option. Depending on what seasonal fare we have in, the price ranges from $80-$120 per person pre tax. We also offer a wine pairing option, 3-4 wines $65 -$80. Reservations are highly encouraged for the tasting menu.
Our new "a la cart menu" is some dishes from our tasting menu, small sharable plates, as well new concepts we are testing. The "a la cart menu" is our answer to those wanting a few dishes from our tasting menu or just a snack and a glass of wine.

The Inn is fabulous. Gorgeous rooms with a quiet setting and incredible views and grounds. All the employees were very kind and helpful. My only negative was the food quantity in the restaurant for dinner. We did the tasting menu; and the food was delicious but the portions were so small, my wife and I had to go get something to eat after. My salmon, the main course, was a bit dry and bland. I ate it all, but still mentioned it to our server. We booked this for our 20th wedding anniversary, and the Inn wrote us a nice note and surprised us with champagne in the room. No mention at the restaurant though, even though I noted it on our reservation. I was expecting at least a mention from our server or the chef. Overall, after spending as much on dinner as our room, I was left disappointed. It won’t stop me from coming back to the Inn, but I don’t know if I would do dinner again. The complimentary breakfast was the star of the stay. Incredible handmade foods with delicious flavors.

Wow, outstanding flavors, service and enjoyment, once again!!!!!! See you every month. One small suggestion: the time before this one, the gnocchi was offered ala carte. This time, we asked about the agnolotti and it was only on tasting menu…we understand, yet having a mid-course choice is nice. The salmon was as excellent the second time, BTW. Cheers!!!!!

The moment we walked in, we were greeted by the owner. We were served a nice bubbly and were seated at a predetermined seating arrangement. The sommelier was very young but very knowledgeable and as the dishes were introduced, the wines were introduced as well. The pairings, ranging from a Greek white to Washington red and aged Italian wine were absolutely perfect in matching with the flavor and acidity. The ambience was nice and the dishes were mouth watering. Sliced scallops in buttermilk and chive oil with poppy seeds was my favorite. Crab with parsnip purred and parsnip chunks was another delight. All in all a perfect dinner.

We were 30 minutes late due to flight delay. Then ferry back up. They wouldn’t serve us. Charged over $300 for dinner we never had.
