The cost of dinner is currently $160.00 per person, this includes all non alcoholic beverages. Wine, tax and a 20% service charge are additional. We offer a wine pairing that complements your dinner perfectly, chosen each evening by Matt Costello. As this is a prix fix menu and as our menu has many ingredients please let us know in advance if you have any dietary restrictions, or cannot consume even small amounts of alcohol, as changes are hard to accommodate without advance notice.
Located on beautiful Whidbey Island, 1.5 hours North of Seattle, just a short ferry ride from Mukilteo.
Celebrated our wedding anniversary and it was a very special experience
Wonderful and exceptional experience!!
Matt and team never disappoint! The food, service and especially the overall experience is what keeps us coming back!
We were 30 minutes late due to flight delay. Then ferry back up. They wouldn’t serve us. Charged over $300 for dinner we never had.
Wonderful ambiance, personal touch. A great experience and remarkably clever dishes that are very exciting and different.
The experience that my family and I had while dining at the Inn at Langley was truly phenomenal. We began our evening with sparkling wine in the beautiful garden, and were subsequently welcomed by Dawn, who showed us to our seats at the chefs table. We immediately felt very welcomed and taken care of as we sat at our table and enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere. Soon after, we were introduced to an array of cocktails that were very entertaining and something we had never seen before. I really enjoyed the unique takes on all of the cocktails-especially the white Russian!
The courses then came out in a timely fashion, each course well thought out and plated beautifully. With Dawn as our guide throughout the evening, she explained every course in such an elegant way that helped us understand what we were eating, which made the courses all the more enjoyable. I especially loved the kohlrabi soup, which was one of the first courses and really set a tone for the rest of the meal. The creativity that went into all of the courses was well appreciated, and the different combination of flavors was truly stunning and unheard of.
As the evening came to an end, we were even invited to go watch sous chef Emily prepare one of the dessert courses using liquid nitrogen!
The whole staff was very friendly and inviting to us. The entire evening was very memorable and the meal was beyond satisfying- we truly did not want it to end!
Can’t imagine celebrating a special occasion any place better,
The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, while also elegant Northwest.
The cuisine is a foodie’s dream, both in quality of the ingredients and preparation and presentation of each course.
We will be back.
This was, hands down, one of the most exquisite meals I have ever enjoyed. From the service, which attended to the minutest of details, to the food, to the wine, and the ambiance, this experience surpassed imagination. I really hope I can go back again.
It is hard to describe the dining experience at the Inn, because the meal is an orchestrated presentation of many small bites and courses. Each diner, be they vegan or paleo, pescatarian or whatever, are queried beforehand of their preferences and easily accommodated. There is only one seating per night so you will be at table for a good part of the evening, enjoying a huge variety of tastes, textures and presentations along with wine pairings should you so desire.
Be forewarned: this does not come cheap, but for a special occasion it was a joy to sit back and marvel at the variety and well executed courses that flowed from the kitchen.
It did not hurt that we stayed at the Inn for an evening with an amazing oceanside view...a wonderful stay overall...
A true delight - one of the best fine dining options in the PNW in an intimate setting, at the sublime Inn at Langley, a wonderful and close-in getaway from Seattle. Matt and team are amazingly creative, service is highly attentive without being intrusive, matched wine flights were perfectly paired with the exquisite courses. Always a treat ...
Amazing, inventive and delicious. Service contemporary and connected.
The Inn at Langley was one of the best meals (if not the best) I have ever had. It tops all of the other high end restaurants with tasting menus and wine pairings I've been to. The portions were a good size and the wine pours were healthy. I would definitely recommend this to anybody looking for great food on a special occasion.
Both innovative and exceptionally tasty. Very attentive service and thoughtful wine pairings. A lovely room as well.
My husband and I arrived on a blustery winter evening. We walked through the garden and entered the dining room where a fire crackled in the entry where Dawn welcomed us, poured sparkling wine, hung our coats and showed us to our places at the chef's table.
Shortly, we were presented with the first bites of the evening - edible cocktails and single bite snacks. I particularly liked the puffed wild rice treat topped with slivers of dried beef. Then the sous chef, Emily, welcomed everyone and the meal began. Each successive course became our new favorite. All while soaking up the ambiance of the glimmering candlelit room.
Emily, Rachel and Dawn created a wonderful atmosphere to relax and enjoy the incredibly creative and satisfying meal. It was a truly memorable experience!
Loved this meal. The restaurant is a gem.
The wine pairings were amazing. The food was a visual and gastronomic delight.
Cozy intimate space with wonderfully creative food. The service and pacing couldn't have been better and the wine pairings were perfect!
Special restaurant with 1 seating at 7 pm for a 7 course meal. Local ingredients with very creative cuisine with excellent service and explanation of each course. Highly recommended for foodies and for special occasions.
This was an exquisite dining experience, from the beautiful setting, to the unique courses served. We were greeted on the garden patio with Spanish cava. Chef Matt Costello was pouring for a bit. We were then seated at our table with individual place cards and the printed menus for the evening. We did not choose to do either of the wine flights, but ordered a bottle from the wine menu. Each course was creative, perfectly seasoned and beautifully presented. Each course was delicious. The chef was friendly and the staff attentive and casual and professional. The evening lasted about three hours. This was truly an outstanding dining experience.
Fantastic. Chef Matt continues to create original, authentic meals that always impress - each season is different, but each time has been terrific.
We had a phenomenal time and can't recommend highly enough. Every course was obviously considered and the service was impeccable, without being overly formal. From our first cocktail in the garden to our final bite of dessert, we couldn't have been more pleased. Thank you for having us!
Beautiful presentation, great wine pairings and creative food in an intimate atmosphere
We are so fortunate to live just a few blocks from The Inn at Langley. Chef Matt Costello and his top-notch team offer up a unique dining experience in a beautiful setting. The evening begins with bubbles served indoors or out depending on the season and continues on for several hours in the beautiful dining room. The seven-course meal begins with a series of unique cocktails to start, and is served graciously by the staff, who explain each dish. Diners may opt for wine pairings, which I highly recommend. We are so lucky to have this fabulous restaurant in our hometown!
Wonderful experience overall but disappointed that we could not hear or see the Chef as he explained the night's menu. This could be improved by having the Chef use a microphone and wander among the guests as he makes his presentation.
ANAZING!!! I'd recommend this to everyone. Incredible dining experience and the chefs creativity with the menu was wild. Service is also amazing.
Like watching live theater. The ensemble puts together fantastic one acts for each course. Wine was good, flowed somewhat steadily. Each course an entertaining story. I recommend sharing the long table with friends and strangers to get a front row view of all the excitement. All of the food was exceptional and prepared beautifully. Well coordinated effort from bubbly in the garden to sweet desserts at the end.
The food was delicious and the presentation beautiful. Every thing tasted wonderful and the entire evening was great. The chef and staff were gracious and explained all the dishes that we ate. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who enjoys spending an evening dining in a special place.
My boyfriend and I celebrated our engagement at the Inn. It was an incredible experience that we will never forget. Everything was so well thought out and the kitchen staff were all wonderful. I would highly recommend going here if you want to have a truly original dining experience.
What an absolutely astounding dinner experience. Highly recommended.
Best meal I have ever had, and I have eaten at James Beard winning restaurants. It was creative and flavorful. My only suggestion is smaller portions are necessary to get through 11 (yes, I said 11 courses).
What a fabulous spot to celebrate Father's Day this year! Chef Matt and his team are ingenious and provided a first class experience. This will be a memory to last a lifetime! Hope we get a 2nd lifetime 😊!
Top notch food and service. 3 hour meal, so be prepared.
Fabulous experience. Food, service, ambiance all first rate.
What an incredible dinner. The food was amazing, creative and beautiful. The service could not have been better. This is not just food, it is an experience not soon to be forgotten. Can't wait to go back!
Always an amazing surprise with each course. Fresh, local ingredients creatively presented.
We had an amazing menu that started with 'surprise' cocktails that were wonderfully creative and 5 of them so good thing they were each tiny! Every course was a jewel in and of itself. The staff did an amazing job of explaining each course, answering questions - they were a fine complement to the meal.
The dinner was very special - great menu with new flavors and presentations - The series of cocktails to start was unique with just a mouthful of five different alcohol cocktails served from a gin and tonic to white Russian. Each following dish served was delicious and just enough to provide an excellent tasting. From scallop with stinging nettles, then molasses bay leaf bread with cultured butter, then the salmon, grapefruit burrata cheese and dill, followed with buttermilk biscuit, Marion beery jam and aerated bacon fat. The quail, morel mushrooms with white asparagus was my favorite and then came pork, baby radishes, onion crisp and English peas. For desert, there was three from fresh cheese with rhubarb juice, next the pretzel lavash, red velvet cake and last with the butterscotch, violet and whipped chocolate and of course great cut of black coffee. We purchased the Chef's Pairings of wine to go with the dinner and was not disappointed - excellent variety to enhance each dish. The wait staff was very informative and we totally enjoyed the whole experience and will make it a point to return.
This was a meal par excellence. What a find in Langley where we have been sailing for decades! This stands as a truly fabulous food experience and we have dined from the Pacific Hotel in Hong Kong to LeCinq in Paris. We heartily recommend this remarkable restaurant to everyone! You might bring your own fabulous wine and spend for the corkage to complement the available light pairings on the menu. Some of the local wines want a bit in matching the caliber of the food. Every bite was a sensation though and we will go again!
