Our Executive Chef, Christopher Calhoun, through his extensive work experience with very high quality restaurants, has built relationships with many different farmers, who offer high quality, seasonally appropriate ingredients. These farmers are personally committed to their products of excellence.

New Summer price fixe or a la carte dinner menus are very disappointing in that some form of mashed potatoes is now featured on ALMOST every entree. No more baked potatoes even with steak dinners. Other than asparagus, very little choice of vegetables alternatives any more. Portions suddenly dwindled in size from week prior to summer menu offerings. Shrimp cocktail still delicious but wish was also offered regularly for lunch and not just at dinner time. Too much butter and cream sauces featured AND one needs to be careful to alert server that cook should stop adding extra salt to veges, etc when salt is on the table and one can decide for self how much salt to add to taste. Blue cheese salad dressing us usually off taste and not always cold when served. Compared to Sunday Brunch with ample food choices etc, regular dinner time dining is no longer enticing since this new summer menu. Not highly recommended anymore

The food at The Hunt Room is always delicious and service has always been excellent. In addition, you never feel rushed. This was my first time to eat outside. The music was a little louder than necessary but, otherwise, it was delightful. It made lunch with a friend feel like a mini vacation.

Sunday Brunch was a disappointment. There were no plates in the carving room, we had to ask a man for some, there was no one to carve the meat, the man who got the plates, carved the meat. I realize it was Father's Day and they might have been overwhelmed but all in all, it wasn't outstanding only middle of the road.

We went for brunch on Father's Day. We went at 12:00. The food in the buffet line was cold and/or needed to be refilled. We went back two times and the same food was out. NOTHING was replaced. Our waitress greeted us when we first sat down and got our drinks. We ordered two waters, a coke, and a coffee. She returned with the drinks but no coffee cup. I finally had to ask another waitress 20 minutes later for a cup. I would also like to note this is the last time we saw our waitress. She would walk by our table but never once came over to check on us or refill our drinks. And yes even our plates were cleared by another waitress. My husband vowed never to come back as we watched her be pleasant as can be to her bigger sized tables but not even look in our direction.

I had taken my parents here for brunch and had a lovely time. However they fell VERY short for a Father's Day brunch. I was greatly disappointed. The food and waitress put a sour taste in my mouth and we will not be returning for brunch.

My wife and I really enjoy dining in the Hunt Room. There is nothing to dislike, the greeting, the room, the service, the food, the all around ambiance. The prixe fix menu is our favorite. It reminds us of dining in Cape May for their restaurant week, where everything is superb, well planned, and orchestrated. The Hunt Room more conducive to relaxing and enjoying creative cooking, well prepared food, and drink, the combination which is missing in about 90% of today's restaurants.

We had great service at the Hunt Room, waitress and kitchen were very flexible with off-the-menu requests. Food was average on this visit. I've had better at the Hunt Room in the past. It's a nice spot for the family.

My daughter and I took my mother there for her 90th birthday celebration, and everything was wonderful! The food was delicious, the atmosphere was friendly, and our server, Mimi, was phenomenal!!!!
