We were so happy with having our Easter Brunch there on Sunday. We will be back every year!!!!
Enjoyable day. Very accommodating to our family of 10. Children love their own buffet, candy bar and Easter Bunny! Food was outstanding. Always fresh and plentiful. Service outstanding. Wait staff and management very helpful and friendly.
We have been going to the Thanksgiving and Easter buffets at the Desmond for years and have never been disappointed. The food is excellent with a very nice blend of different dishes for every palate. Our server Jackie (who we always request) is outstanding. She cannot do enough for you, but is not in your face trying to please. We eat at the Desmond frequently besides the holiday buffets and will continue to do so!!
Easter brunch - $476 for eight people! No idea it was going to cost that since it was advertised as half that amount!!!
Fast and very good omelette. Coffee was delicious. Service was good and fast.
the service was perfect, the staff outstanding, it was my wife's birthday and colin suprised her with a slice of cake and candles. only problem we had was music was very loud, thankfully they lowered the
background music. it is worth every penny. the area where the desmond is at is so well planned, the area and the buildings and lakes have so much beauty. we live in lancaster county, and the developers in lancaster county could take a lesson from this area on how to develop intelligently. so not only is the desmond hotel and the dining there outstanding, the area is also beautiful to travel to.
Good food and reasonable prices
Greek Salad was not great. The dressing was watery and I could barely taste the minute amount of feta. I added shrimp and there were not very many - less than six small shrimp.
Did not think it was a good value.
Service was good . And atmosphere was good.
I have been here many times for lunch but have never come for Sunday brunch until this visit and it was awesome! The food was so good and tasty and fresh and there is a large variety of options. We will definitely be coming back!
Amazing. First time and we really enjoyed it.
My server, Michael, was fantastic and the bartender, Jimmy, makes an excellent lemon drop.
Made the reset. When I got there they weren’t open. Has to eat st fox and hound.
The atmosphere is quite nice in the renovated space and the service was fine. But, the food was disappointing. We were there for Sunday brunch. The scrambled eggs on the buffet table certainly didn't look like eggs and didn't taste much that way either. The station-made omelets, however were fine. I would say everything else was passable, except for the mini-donuts which were inedible. At best, very average food that I don't think was worth the cost. It's too bad because it is a very nice dining room.
Nice location and the food was excellent!
another great meal and service. Jackie does a great job of making you feel welcome and allows you time to have a business discussion. Even when not waiting on my table, Colin always stops by to say hi.
My favorite place!
Service was excellent food was good. We are seated promptly
A little pricey for what we got
The Desmond was quiet and clean when we arrived. Our hostess sat us quickly. The server was attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. She was able to make several recommendations and answer any questions that we had. The food was delicious and served how we ordered it. Overall, it was an excellent experience.
Always an enjoyable brunch at the Desmond. The room redecorating and the convenience of the omelette station, desserts and buffet room make for a nice time. While the food could sometimes be a bit warmer, there is always a nice selection. We look forward to many more Brunch visits.
The service is excellent. Very nice selection of food
The restaurant was quiet and easy to talk with those at our table until a large group came in who were very noisy. They had come for a funeral and had not seen each other for awhile and were seated as far as they could be from us. But they really needed to be in their own separate room- it was like being at a reunion!
Very loud. Food was not replenished because 1:30pm, 30 minutes before brunch closing. Omelette station was good. French toast was cold and hard. So-so, disappointed overall.
We stayed at a nearby hotel and went to the Fork and Bottle for Sunday brunch. It was amazing.
They had everything from basic eggs and potatoes to numerous types of pastries to a carving station with turkey beef and stuffed haddock as well as numerous salads and vegetables. There was a separate omelette bar and wonderful desert table With cookies cakes and puddings.
They offered pancakes, waffles, and smoked salmon from the kitchen included in the buffet price- you just had to order what you wanted.
Everything we tried was amazing and the staff was stellar. Highly recommended.
The staff was more than accommodating - wonderful food will def be back!!!
Had Valentine's dinner there. Very good menu and the food did not disappoint. Everything was prepared perfectly and looked very good. Excellent value. Very good service.
I can't say enough great things about the Fork and Bottle. From the hostess and waitstaff always make you feel special and welcome. The manager always checks in to see that all your needs are being met. I highly recommend for business lunches .
The restaurant is quiet most of the time and the food is quite good.
We celebrated my birthday. Had a 12:00 reservation - food at the stations was dried out. Took 20 minutes to get 1/2 a Belgium Waffle - it was cold and dry. Not worth the calories. The smoked salmon was perfect.
The food was mediocre at best. Many of the buffet items were the same as frozen food items I could have bought at the grocery store for less money. The service was fine.
This is a great place for a lunch get together. The salmon was moist and flavorful. Our waiter was excellent. We had 8 people in our party and it was hard to hear each other. The next time, I will request a round table or a small room if available.
We went for Sunday brunch. It was delicious and a great atmosphere. Had to wait a bit for more water, and unsure if they had a brunch cocktail menu- but it was very good overall.
We thoroughly enjoyed our birthday celebration lunch at The Fork and Bottle. The restaurant re-model is gorgeous! The staff was very friendly and helpful. We were not at all rushed and our food was delicious!
The staff was very courteous & accommodating. The updated dinning room is very refreshing & serene.
The menu was varied & Prie Fixe had very good choices & combinations.
Overall a very enjoyable & delicious leisurely dinner
Was nice. The waitress serving table next to us had a small hole in the back of her pants and smelled like cigarette mixed with Kitty litter and needed to put a brush in her hair. I wanted to say something for the younger adults she was serving, but my husband told me not to speak up.
My husband and I dined on New Year's Eve for dinner. I started with the pear & beet salad which I had to send back because it was not what I expected. I ordered the salmon, which I thought was ok and the presentation could have been better. The salmon was partially black and placed on the side of the plates with a large amount of rice placed in the center of the plate with the toppings thrown around the rest of the plate. We have dined at the restaurant before and the food I thought was better. The only good thing was the flourless chocolate cake.
So good and everyone is friendly :) I am looking forward to our next time there)
Fine for brunch but definitely not my first choice. Bacon was soggy but omelet was perfect.
Loved the new decor. A much needed update looked great and comfortable atmosphere. We had lunch on this visit. The food was good and the service was outstanding.
We all enjoyed the excellent food. The miso salmon was so moist and tender, it melt in your mouth!!
Some were disappointed that there was no sweet potatoes fries, just regular fries.
Our waiter was very accommodating and friendly. Great place to eat!
It was a great time at the Christmas brunch today! We look forward to it every year! Good luck to all the gingerbread creators!
Celebrated a special person 100 birthday
Service was excellent
