We totally enjoyed the Hudson Room. The food and service was great. We also returned after our show at the Paramount and the live music was great.
Great service, food was yummy, very accommodating for dining with a young child!
Our waiter was so much fun. He gave us great service and had an amazing personality. Our waiter kept a perfect service and we just adore him.
--Close to Peekskill Paramount Theater and great for pre-show dinner. -- Varied menu choices , large portions, and good prices. --Delicious food, good service and ambiance. --Love dining here, and it never disappoints!!!
Our group had a great time enjoying the band. The atmosphere is superb, the staff friendly and attentive
The menu and food quality was very impressive for a busy night like Valentine's day. I look forward to returning
My husband and I went here for Valentine's Day.
The space is cavernous, and the restaurant was offering live entertainment, so the environment was quite noisy-Not really what we wanted for a romantic holiday like Valentine's Day.
The food was quite good-I had the filet mignon, delicious, but very stingy with the sides-barely a dollup of mashed yukon potatoes, and only 3 or 4 string beans.
My husband had the Jambalaya, which he enjoyed. We were both intrigued by the sushi menu, and will try it the next time we go.
Hudson Room is probably the priciest restaurant I've been to in Peekskill, including restaurants like Zeph's.We paid $70 each for the V Day menus, and with drinks, tax and tip, our bill came to almost $200.
BTW, the service was excellent.
I wonder how successful Hudson Room can be with a pricey menu, in such a large space, and the chronic Peekskill problem of where to find parking...
Delicious food (locally sourced) and nice atmosphere. Would definitely go again!
Our party of 8 had a great time: drinks, food, service & an 80s band to keep the party going!!!
WE always go to the Hudson Room before concerts, The food is tremendous as well as their waitstaff!!
We would enjoy the Hudson Room more if the food prices were not so high. The price for sushi is ridiculous and $19 for a hamburger is crazy. If the burger was amazing and the same for the sushi I would not complain. You are doing a great thing bringing a night life to Peekskill and it is so appreciated but you need to lower the prices on the food it’s bad enough the price for a drink these days is 12.00. Also you should do a happy hour or a Ladies night 1/2 price wine...something.
Appetizers, dinner and dessert were fabulous! We will be back!
Service ie: filling water... kept having to ask .. coffee not as bad ... food very overpriced... music awesome
Overall the food and service were very good, but I felt the prices were high for the portion size and considering entrees do not come with a salad. Also, we asked for bread for the table and was told they don't offer bread and there is no espresso or cappuccino available.
The menu is limited and the food is fair at best. They often don't have everything listed on the menu either. The place is nice and it's fun for the live music. I wish they had a new chef and a new menu. It's nice to have a local place to go. I just wish the food was better.
Awesome place, saw Larger than Life boy band tribute they were AWESOME!!!!!
New Years eve
Went for New Year’s Eve, reserved through open table. Had 7pm reservations; a few days before was called by the restaurant and told we had to be out of the restaurant by 8:30 for their special seating. I wish I had been told when the reservation was made. It made for a rushed meal! The food was very good although a bit steep!
I ordered veal which was badly burnt. Ruined my dining experience. On the good side, my son's sushi was very good. The Pinot Grigio was good, and the white chocolate bread pudding was " to die for " Although the wine was a quarter glass full, I enjoyed it. This was not my first time there, but wanted my son to experience the Hudson Room.
My Boyfriend David and I had tickets for Jessica Lynn's Country Christmas Show at the Paramount Theatre! We live in New Rochelle which is a little bit of a drive so needless to say we got to the restaurant a little late because of the weather!! This was our first time here but it definitely won't be our last!! The atmosphere, the service the apps we shared and the wine I had were all fabulous!! Next time we come we're definitely staying longer!! Wish we could have hung out after the show but it was late!! Too bad though!! Happy Holidays!!
The food was good but the service was very slow due to the pre-show crowd. The server was friendly but seemed overwhelmed. Another employee (possibly manager or hostess) took our order. We waited a long time for the food and almost did not get to the theater in time.
Great sushi! and Healthy choices. Convenient location next to The Paramount.
Overall OK dining. Service was OK and the restaurant should not be noted for ambiance.
This was our second visit. Wanted to see if it was consistent and it was. Really enjoyed the food. There is something for everyone.....They said the espresso machine was broken, but I sort of got the feeling that was "waitertalk" for we don't have one. But really had a good time and will go back. Noise level BEFORE the music started was tolerable.
Convenient to Paramount Theater. Nice room and good server. Menu and wine list are a bit limited. Food is not bad, but not great and not made freshly. It comes out too quick which means it was prepared earlier, if not just stored in the fridge like a diner.
The biggest problem is that prices of both the food and drink are inflated to the point of silliness.
Many better options nearby, will not return
Service and food was great, can't wait to return to this restaurant!
The food and service was really top notch. I had a sushi tuna appitizer that was excellent.
We share at our table..so I sampled the Jambalaya, the meatballs and penne and the veal .
ALL were prepared very nice. Drinks were nice sized and the room is way upscale for Peekskill.
If you are going to a show at the Paramount next door, you can't go wrong eating here.
It's a little pricey but I think worth it.
Although the burgers were delicious, it’s a little pricey for Peekskill.
My server never came to my table after my initial order. Every time I needed something (drink refill, ketchup etc...) I had to find him.
The staff is not very attentive.
I’ll try some of the other nearby restaurants before I return to The Hudson Room.
Service was horrible. Waitress took more than ten minutes to bring a drink menu then took additional ten minutes to take our drink order then waited even look get to receive our drink. I could see if it was packed but it wasn't. My main course came way to fast. As soon as I put my appetizer down the main came. Would not go back. Disappointed.
Eclectic menu. Might not appeal to some. Noisy. We enjoyed the meals we ordered but probably would not return. Definitely a young crowd.
After making reservations for 4 in an ample time frame and requesting the front of the room...i was told EVERYONE WANTS THE FRONT..not my problem...the food was inedable for my friend...horrible expensive cheeseburger WITHOUT the cheese...was offered to bring it back and add cheese...should have been brought and entire new entree...the attitude from the staff is horrible and "better than thou"...the ONLY reason we travel that far is for the band "basecamp"...if they never go back to the hudson room..neither will my friends and I.
grilled octopus...veal milanese...scottish salmon- tasty!
Trendy, hip ambiance but mediocre food. We went here for a pre-theater dinner, food choices are electic but nothing we had was impressive. Especially disappointing was the fried, calamari Which was over cooked. The service was good and the ambience was cool. It was conveniently located next-door to the Paramont theater in Peekskill.
Great good .. great music/band ... always a good time
The food at the Hudson Room is pricey but reliably good. On our most recent visit, we were lucky enough to hear a live bank playing none other than 70's and 80's classic rock. If you add the free (and fun) music to the already delicious meals - We had sushi and pesto pasta with shrimp and our friends had jambalaya and salmon - you get a really enjoyable evening. We will definitely be back.
Always great and "The Force" was amazing. Service was great and cheerful.
Was perfect for great food, drink and company before a show at the Paramount!
First time and really had a blast. Great energy, awesome live music and the food was great. I am looking forward to going again. Very upbeat!!
We had a seat at the bar and loved the food and service. Fantastic appetizer and Sushi!
We will definitely dine at the HR again!
I bought my husband here for our 32nd anniversary dinner and music and he thought it was the best anniversary every he greatly enjoyed the music as well as the drinks the crowd and he couldn't stop talking about it and thanking me. Thanks to all the staff and bartender that made his night one to remember🤗🤗🤗
