   Food was very poor quality. I ordered a Pittsburgh rare steak and received a very unseasoned medium well steak. My wife got the meatloaf and it was okay but the macaroni she got with it was overcooked and very bland. Fried Green Tomatoes were pretty good and the highlight of the meal was the asparagus which was the best thing that they served. However for $150 I feel like the poor quality of food does not make this a good choice and I would not recommend the honeysuckle to anyone else. I think that they have put all of their time, thought and money into the ambiance and very little into quality of food. I did not bring this to our servers attention because she did a fantastic job and this is our 25th anniversary and I did not want to ruin my wife's night by complaining.

   This was our first visit...getting seated took longer than expected with it being fairly empty, it was loud, not super clean, and the food was okay. Collette, our server, was fantastic - the bright spot in our dining!

   The Honeysuckle is my favorite place to bring family! The vibe is great & it’s quiet so we can enjoy talking. The servers & staff are always so friendly and personable! Still my go to for yummy food and environment!!

   Just not our place. Was several years since we have been there, still as we remembered. Menu not for us. Way to noisy to suit us either. Must be popular as it was crowded, bit we will scratch it of our list again.

    Been a huge fan for the last 5 years. Disappointed that the menu online was not up to date. As a result, one person in our party didn't eat due to a strict diet and an item that was online but not available. Also, the new shrimp & grits recipe is not as good as the previous one was. We'll still be back! Great place to eat, drink and socialize.

    We dined with our monthly supper club dinner of 10 ladies. I love a Monday night after Mother’s Day because restaurants are usually quieter on Monday and so many people ate out over the weekend, so it’s quieter than normal. We had a WONDERFUL server in Alden - she was so sweet, pleasant and attentive! She worked our table by herself and got everything correct and kept us topped off with water & beverages - she was always there when we needed something. The timing of everything was great - it didn’t take too long nor did we feel rushed. Everyone had a great meal and I love the way that the restaurant is sectioned off in several rooms - with it being a slower evening and having a room to ourselves, it felt like we were dining in someone’s home. Well done, The Honeysuckle!

    Went there for Mother’s Day and was looking forward to a brunch and lunch experience. However, we were greeted with a buffet. A buffet during these times that we are living, really? Maybe at a wedding…It was a total let down. The food was good but for someone like me that doesn’t eat eggs, options were a bit limited. The worst of all is that the buffet situation was not advised on their website nor in the Ooen Table menu tab. If I would had known this, I’d probably had gone somewhere else. I felt railroaded. A damper on my Mother’s Day.

    Had reservations for Mother's Day brunch. Looked at brunch menu and figured it would work great. 2 days before I received a call and they said it would be a buffet and wanted to make sure that was okay - as I told them then, it was a little too late since I wouldn't be able to get reservations anywhere else. I should have asked the cost. I wasn't prepared for a $45 a person with no beverages included brunch. They opened at 10, our first time through the line at 10:15 - a slow-moving line as they don't really have a good spot for a brunch line, there's no french toast and one really bad looking serving of Eggs Benedict. Food tasted good, but was not worth the price. Had been here once before for dinner, and thought it was good enough for a brunch. Won't be back - there's too many other places to eat

    In 2015 my husband and I had our wedding reception at Honey suckle. Had found memories here and loved the food. We loved the place. We've returned multiple times over the years and it has steadily declined. Which brings us to Today(the day before Mothers Day). What a disappointment of a lunch. We had reservations for 1:15 and arrived a little early. They were able to seat us quickly and that was nice. Unfortunately it's pretty much down hill from there. We came for Lunch but only provided a brunch Menu. We were told that the kitchen would not serve items off the lunch Menu during Lunch hour.(no where on their website does it state Saturday is a Brunch only menu) The brunch menu is limited and for someone that is Gluten free(not by choice) this was disappointing. We ordered the duck fat fries, crab cake(one 3 inch cake for $26), meatloaf, Nashville hot chicken sandwich, filet, and a salad. All of these items were not blow me away for what I just spent good. I don't know who approved the cauliflower mash to be on the menu but honestly was not edible. The waitress was doing her best and I acknowledge that but other than that it was disappointing all around. We won't be back and won't recommend anyone to come here

    Great experience! The service is amazing, we came for Mother’s Day brunch (on Saturday) and it was busy but still quiet. We were sat in a private booth in the front and we loved it. The biscuits were so light and fluffy and the southern omelette was delicious. The only thing I will say is it said it was supposed to come with fried green tomatoes and I never received those. Other than that, great food and great service

    Great evening out at the Honeysuckle! We hadn’t been in awhile and our dinner was exceptional / halibut was perfectly prepared; vegetable plate with shrimp was awesome! Steak was also great - what made the meal so special was the amazing service from “V” - she is a real pro, and so kind to us.

    We sat at the Crescent moon booth. We had a really great time! The waitress was exceptional and the food was good except the carrots and creamed cauliflower. Carrots were cold and the cauliflower was bitter. The steaks were cooked to perfection!

    Food was over-cooked and over-priced. The fish special was extremely expensive and the fish was dry. Not a lot of food for the price. The vegetable plate was also over-cooked with the vegetables being limp and pretty tasteless. It also was not a lot of food for the price.

    Excellent food and service! Miguel, our server, was friendly and attentive. Delicious cocktail! Relaxing atmosphere. One of the best meals I have ever eaten at a restaurant. I had the Duck with sprouts and grits - perfectly cooked and seasoned. My husband had the Steak Frites and enjoyed his meal as well. We both had salads as well, which were ample-sized and fresh. I thoroughly enjoyed the Honeysuckle cocktail. We split the Honeysuckle pie (chocolate/peanut butter) and I'm glad we did - it was rich and decadent. We would love to come back when we are visiting the area again.

    The prime rib was way to tough and serving size was way too little for the cost of the meal. The drinks were good but high as well. For two people the total was $141.00

    Less than what we expected. My date had filet and was charged $20 for two small portions of vegetables and $7 for horseradish sauce.I had meatloaf, admittedly a low-0riced entree, but it was disappointing. Server was nice but definitely did not receive quality proportionate to our bill.

    I had the duck which lacked seasoning. My husband had the pork which also lacked seasoning. It felt like you were supposed to eat both proteins with the Gouda grits which were tasty, in one combo bite to mask the lack of flavor in the meats. High priced but low quality wines. Veggies we're tasty. Blueberry cobbler wasn't a cobbler but a crumble, which was good. I expected more for the price.

    Extremely disappointed. I use to enjoy doing lunches here often, but… Tonight was awful. I ordered prime rib, med rare ($57 a la carte) it arrived room temp with a RAW center. My wife ordered duck confit which arrived cold, and her grits were gelatinous. I took two bites of my prime rib and decided I’de had enough. When the waitress (who was sweet but way over her head) came and said, “how is everything” and I answered, “it’s just OK”, she laughed nervously and said “haha, I’ll take OK!” and walked away. In fairness, they comped the prime rib, but the manager never came over and apologized or asked if he could make anything right. They have a side dish, called Tasso potato, which sounded good, so I inquired. Our waitress said “oh, it’s just a twice baked potato with bacon bits in it”… Nothing about the Tasso ham that was advertised… when it arrived it had good Tasso flavor but again, barely room temp. It seemed all our food was cooked prior and just kept ‘warm’ under a lamp. I can’t see going back to this place which is sad because it used to be a favorite.     Sold our home in Louisville- buying in Franklin - celebration. Started dinner with two salt blocks and fried green tomatoes - all excellent. The ordered drinks and meals. This is where service got bad. My kids never got refills. Waiter never said a word and we got horrible service despite spending over 300. Worst shrimp and grits I’ve ever had - soupy and only had three tiny shrimp. Daughters steak was ordered med rare - came out close to well - waiter never asked or came by to check.     We came into the evening with the expectation of relaxing and that was not derailed but it was close. We were seated for 20 minutes before we were acknowledged by the wait staff. Then the wait staff was so apologetic it got awkward- they told us they would offer us biscuits but they were out. They took or drink order to the bar and that was also slow so they told us twice they will keep checking on it…then she misunderstood what my partner’s order was so it was wrong. The food was ok but the temperature was not as warm as expected. The resturant was cold. We even heard someone else tell the hostess they should adjust the temperature. It was a bit loud. We just smiled through the awkwardness and still left a nice tip. The staff was friendly just clearly overwhelmed..
