   We enjoyed our experience! Our server was great- prompt and attentive. The food was good but pricey. Be warned that the menu isn’t super descriptive. There’s also no kids menu. The burger was good but the bun was unforgivably soggy. I 100% recommend the eggs Benedict

   The Hive is located inside Bentonville's one of the best boutique hotel - 21c. The decor is vibrant and inviting! I ordered the citrus and berries, and hive Benedict. Both items were very fresh and easy on the palate. The Benedict were served on a buttermilk biscuit as opposed to traditional English muffin and they worked out really well! I wish could have gotten the pecan crumble as a dish! They were so yumm!!

   My husband is an avid mountain biker and couldn’t wait to visit both the hotel and restaurant after hearing amazing things and seeing the 4 star ratings. This is my first time to Bentonville and unfortunately, our entire experience at The Hive was very much “meh.” Our server was less than enthused to take care of us after having taken 5+ minutes to initially address/greet us. It was a Saturday evening but the restaurant was not swamped by any means. We bypassed appetizers as we were already ready to just grab dinner and head out given the initial interaction and wait time we had. Dinner was fine - we ordered another drink (two beers) and when one arrived (with a glass to pour it into), from who I’ll assume was a manager based on the keys around her upper arm, we politely let her know there were two drinks ordered we were abruptly told “well I only have two hands so…” Again…less than impressed, unfortunately. Regardless of whether employees are having a bad day and/or don’t want to be there - guests should never know it, especially after having paid $125+ for a meal in an acclaimed restaurant.

   Service was awesome but the food fell short for us, the cut of ribeye was not what should be expected for the price and was over cooked .. cheese plate had more pecans than cheese.. the cod was overly salted and tough. For the price/area, we would pick Preachers Son instead.

    Visitor to Bentonville and first time visitor to the restaurant. Had reservation. Was seated immediately at reservation time. Very friendly and attentive service delivering excellent tasting food. Desiree, a manager, was involved and made sure not only for us but for other diners that our needs were met on a very busy evening with two big events in house. Would recommend highly and will gladly go back.

    Typically it’s great- this evening it was really slow. I of course will be back but this evening was super hard especially w a 9 year old that was so hungry. We arrived much earlier then the huge party - but somehow we got skipped over and the big party likely 15 or so delayed our meal by 30-45 mins or so.

    The food was very good, as was the service. The challenge was a large group that had already been seated when we arrived (2 tables -- probably 24 people), and the kitchen just couldn't keep up. Our appetizers were served in a reasonable time but we waited an hour between apps and the main course. The large group seemed to be waiting frustratingly long times as well. We declined dessert since the large group was still waiting for theirs and we didn't want to wait another hour. On any other night, I think we would have had a lovely evening with great food and service but the choice to seat a group too large for them to handle made our evening less wonderful than it would have been otherwise. We are in the area frequently and will definitely be back but hope management will figure out how to better handle situations like this one.

    This was our second visit to this restaurant, and the table service and food was outstanding! We brought friends from TN along, and they seemed equally impressed. The only issue was that although I made, and received both a text and email confirmation of our reservation for the correct, requested date and time (via Open Table), the host staff could not find our reservation on the book. Fortunately, there were tables available and our dinner was a success’

    I was very disappointed at the mediocre service. And sadly, the "signature" dish, Berkshire Pork Chop, was not prepped correctly (too much fat, and pieces of bone), and not properly seared. So overall, not a great dinner.
