   Good (not great) food. Below average wine. Cool ambiance. Very kind but sometimes slow service. Small portions on the pasta and sea bass entrees, making the high prices questionable.

   We had a wonderful anniversary dinner. We had the cheese plate for starters, my husband had the chicken dinner and I had the ribeye. Dessert was a carmel, nut domed chocolate cake with cream on top! To top it off, green apple cotton candy was served for dessert. The server was amazing and brought us a small serving of a dish we enquired about when we were ordering! She also made sure we had one of the traveling penguins in the restaurant! We had fun taking the penguin to another table when we were done! Chef McClure runs an amazing kitchen with exquisitely prepared foods! Thank you so much👏🏻❤️

    We had a family celebration and chose The Hive on a recommendation. The giant penguin at our table was whimsical and fun. It was if he was a part of the celebration. We started with the Humus and Pork Belly. Both were delicious! The cornbread was fantastic. We ordered the Ribeye and Sea Bass as the main entrees. The steaks were perfectly cooked to order and were great. The Sea Bass was mild and fresh. For dessert we split the citrus Almond and chocolate cakes. They were also fantastic. The service was friendly and attentive. Overall this was a five star dining experience. You have to go!

    Four of us had brunch at The Hive on Sunday morning. We had the best waiter (Brint - who had a wonderful sense of humor) and some of the best food we had while in Bentonville. Everything our group had was great, but the fried chicken was absolutely spectacular! We enjoyed some champagne with our brunch, and having the choice of juices to mix with it for mimosas was a treat!

    We ordered two of the most popular dishes (Sea bass and pork chop) and were not impressed with either. They weren't bad, just really bland. I kept adding salt/pepper to each bite. The pork belly app was really good. And the cocktails were excellent. The main dishes were small, not tasty, and really expensive. Much better options in the area.

    Restaurant at less than 60% capacity when we sat down, all tables were already served... we were the last table sitting within 30 minutes, yet still took exactly 55 minutes from the time we ordered until food arrived at our table, half of it was cold... no apologies offered. Would expect this place -considered to be among the top restaurants in town- to be ready for Sunday Brunch, yet two out of seven plates on the menu were "out" and what was left to chose from was as basic at best. To top all of this off, no one ever cared to ask how we were doing, was our food to our taste or the service to our satisfaction? Nah, here's your check (and another 10 minute wait to get the bill split in 1/2).

    I had the Sea Bass and it was absolutely delicious. The ambiance is not pretentious, just comfortable. If you are visiting Bentonville this restaurant comes highly recommended by all the locals. In all my travels I listen to the people that live in a particular area and have yet to be lead in the wrong direction.

    I always love coming to The Hive. Great vibes, location, and service. The chicken liver mousse is amazing. However I will say the entree portion of the menu is lacking. I’ve been a few times and the only time I was satisfied with my entree was the escargot tortellini special. The fixed portion of that menu needs more unique items and variety. Overall I really like this place and would recommend to a friend.
