Food, service, wine menu all outstanding. Ask for Angelo if he is working!

Our first visit to The Hilltop restaurant was outstanding! The atmosphere was wonderfully enhanced with the live piano music! The food was delicious and promptly served. Our server, Sue was attentive, respectful, friendly and an accomplished server! We will definitely return for another dining experience! This restaurant is a gem and our new favorite!

I always enjoy Valentine's dinner here, you simply can't beat the experience.

We were in a small room off the bar for just our table. The piano music was close, and It definitely made my anniversary feel special.

This was our 3rd Valentines Day experience at Hilltop and it never disappoints. The service was great and the food was excellent. All 4 courses tasted great, both of our dishes. This place is a great little secret in Orange Park.

This is a gem in Orange Park...the food was great, the service unequalled. Just a great evening out and they were welcoming. We felt like old friends by the time we left!

Beautiful place with amazing food definitely going again

Very elegant ! People there were polite not snobbish at all. Their pianist was the perfect touch and played beautifully. The dish presentation was absolutely gorgeous not to mention delish! Ten out of ten would eat there again.

Very Nice Experience

The food and service were wonderful. We celebrated my parents' 58 anniversary with some friends and they could not have been nicer.

This is the best kept secret restaurant in Clay County. This is not an eat and run restaurant. Bring someone you like/love and spend some time with them, eat and enjoy there company at an incredible well established friendly and professional local foodie eatery. At least that is what I think about The Hilltop restaurant and I've lived in Clay County since 2001.

We had Sue as a waitress and she was awesome. Friendly, always smiling and checked on us without being overbearing. Carried on small pleasant conversation. Will go back

The food was not anything special. Thought it was overpriced. The server waited on us and wasn't wearing a mask. And, she kept pushing the buffet. Didn't want to eat there because of Covid-19.

Went for a nice dinner with friends to celebrate the holidays and had a great time. Food was great, service was excellent and management was very nice and stopped to speak to us at our table. Christmas decorations made the restaurant look very festive for the holiday season. Our evening was great!

Our group ended up being less than originally planned due to COVID. However, the wait staff and chef were very accommodating to our group and we had an enjoyable experience.

Hilltop is not the typical restaraunt you'll find in Orange Park. It is unique - not a chain, reasonably priced, the owner is on hands, if you're looking for a venue for your office party or wedding, it is a must.
Angelo is our favorite server. All the staff is extremely friendly and helpful.

A well prepared limited menu in a wonderful venue. Great staff. It doesn’t need to be just for special occasions!

Not the same as our last visit. Food came out lukewarm, prime rib was tender, but did not seem fresh, and ordered carrot cake to bring home. Three half of it out. Frosting tasted sour. Table we sat at was basically a board on a pedestal. Every time one of us would start to cut our prime rib, we worried the plates were going to end up on the floor. Went to celebrate our anniversary, and was very disappointed. Meal and tip was over $80. Would have enjoyed a better experience at Outback or even McDonald’s for that matter.

The employees are not wearing masks. At first our waitress was wearing one (or we wouldn’t have even stayed). After we ordered she ditched her mask and didn’t put it on again despite coming really close to us, standing by talking and reaching over. Also, she brought us the check while we were still eating our main course which is just terrible. Otherwise the setup and decor is lovely. Food was fine but the menu was limited for meat-free choices. I won’t go back

I went to Hilltop years ago and loved it. It sure if there’s different owners/chefs but the food was ok. The escargot were on top of the bread so it ended up being soggy instead of crispy. The potato was very dry and overcooked. The salmon was mediocre. The best part was the filet mignon which was quite good. I hope they fix this because this used to be a lovely place to go.

Fantastic staff and food, first time, will return!!

The buffet line was in a very congested area and it made some of the people in my party very uncomfortable.

Nice quiet evening with great service and food. I was a little surprised after reading about all of their COVID -19 precautions on line that none of the serving staff were searing masks. I will have to admit, I was a little reluctant to stay. So that is my only negative and I feel that it is a pretty major one.

Angelo is always our waiter.. He is personal, professional, and always makes good suggestions.. Thanks Angelo.

I can not believe I have lived here for 20 years and have not heard of this restaurant until I got an OpenTable restaurant review email on 11-7-2020. I booked the Hilltop that evening. The Crab soup was the best I have ever had and the Prime rib was awesome. There was a piano player who was very good and I was told he is there only on the weekends. It was a beautiful old style atmosphere and the staff was excellent. I have already referred this place to my friends.

Great atmosphere, food and service. I keep returning to the Hilltop as the experience is very consistent and enjoyable. Also looking forward to going after the pandemic when the full menu is available and we can try additional items.

We had escargot an shrimo cocktail. And chicken marsala. It was fabulous as always. Also a glass of chardonnay an a dirty martini. The bartender is always amazing, we love her. Everyone there is amazing. Especially Chad.

Great food, wonderful service, and atmosphere. I highly recommend the prime rib. They make their own horseradish sauce. There is a man that plays and it adds so much to the ambiance. Great for digestion. Wonderful house wines and champagne or enjoy their full bar. Free dessert in your birthday and the pianist sings to you.
