I come to Hershey 3 times a year for work and every time Hershey Grill is consistent great. Never had a complaint.
Excellent, good service, delicious food
Pan seared lump crab cakes with shaved Brussels spouts and pancetta dressing:
Did not contain any lump crab.
Shaved Brussel sprouts were undercooked.
What pancetta dressing?
BBQ brisket bruschetta:
Consisted of pieces fat (very little actual meat)
The food & drink menu options and prices led us to believe this was more of an adult restaurant. However, it looked like we were at a Denny’s. Lots of children and families, food on the floor under the high chairs and haggard wait staff.
This was our 3rd visit and it gets better each time. The service was outstanding and the Chef came out to speak to my son about his food allergies. They are really accommodating and the food is excellent quality. The outside doesn't look like much but it is really worth the price.
The service was great and everyone was very nice and helpful from the hostess to the waitress. The service was quick our order arrived promptly and the food was great! Very tasty and fresh.
Great service as usual but was surprised the quality of the steaks we had were disappointing and tough. First time we wished we had gone to Texas Roadhouse instead but it was Easter and
they were closed. My husband had the Easter Prime rib and commented it was pretty tough. I also made a seating reservation for 11:30 which the Greeter had down as 11:00 but they were very accommodating as usual.
We had a great time at Hershey Grill. It was very quiet once we walked in (but I know thats because they just had opened for service so we were the first ones there) and our server was attentive to us. The only "downside" that we both had to say was just the food. The food was good but that's pretty much it. We ordered the Eggplant Parm and while it was okay, it really just needed more flavor. It was mediocre at best. We also weren't fans of the chocolate butter that came with the bread. It was a cute idea and I do understand that every where on Hershey property, incorporate chocolate into their menu, but I think it was a bit much. Otherwise, dinner was enjoyable
They did great at changing my time and having our table ready. Would go here again!
It was okay. We were not very hungry so we had a sandwich and salad. No complaints about either. The service was fine.
STEAK WAS cooked perfectly and mashed potatoes were flavorful with amazing winter vegetables. Loved everything on my plate! Oh, and the bread offered prior to the meal was to-die-for.
The food was as diverse and as well-executed as promised by friends who live in Hershey area. Since it was part of Hershey Lodge, I wrongly assumed it would be more formal and upscale. Prices were reflective of a higher level of formality, but tables and booth setting were more reminiscent of a fast food setting. Service was a bit slow, but our meals and drinks were wonderful. Pricey, but worth it.
The food is great, and so are the options on the kid's menu.
Really enjoyed the cozy setting for our lunch reservation. This is the 2nd time eating here for lunch and would recommend eating here for anyone staying at the Hershey Lodge. Would highly recommend a reservation during peak times.
Fish special was awesome, small place but good food.
Great food and great waiter
Not what I expected. Food was good but the service was slow even though the place was fairly empty on a Saturday Evening.
Was empressed by the friendly Hostess and server was excellent. Made my birthday extra special since this was where my husband and I would come every year. I lost him on New Years Eve.
Second time at the Grill but not our last. Food was delicious and service was great.
This experience was way below what was expected. The food was limited choices and although the prime rib was very tender it tasted like it had been through a house fire and laid directly on the charcoaled remains.
Overall it was better than anticipated. Looks like a very casual restaurant when you walk in. Food was excellent but does have limited menu. Sparse on the-seafood but my sirloin steak was delicious. Many kids there with their parents. More family oriented. Cocktails were wonderful!
The waiter was rude and slammed the plates down on the table. The steaks were over cooked and dry. I will not attend again.
Went for New Years Eve and the place was hard to get comfortable when you sat along the window , the place was freezing. Food was OK, but pricey for the quantity of food you received. No extras like salad, rolls. Draft beer was 6.00, thankful it was happy hour for 3.00.
We always enjoy our visit hear. Good food and kid friendly.
The food was okay and not better than a diner. We ordered the specials, turkey and prime rib dinners and the food did not seem fresh nor inspired. The staff is nice but the turkey was dry, cold and lacked taste. The prime rib had more fat than meat. Pretty place but those staying st the hotel should be told that the restaurant requires walking outside in frigid weather!
Expected more for the price of the meal.1st time there and probably the last.Average diner with overpriced meals. Was disappointed and felt robbed for what I paid for dinner!
disappointing, small, noisy, not what I expected, food could be a lot better for the price.Would not recommended!!!!;
Food is just not good.......that’s all......
Great brunch options, friendly and efficient service. We’ll be back!
My friend and I were celebrating a birthday lunch. From the pictures on line we weren't expecting it to be so much like a diner. Nice place for families, but not for a special occasion lunch . Service was very good. Food was good, but a little pricy for the type of venue.
Food selection was great and quality was outstanding. The Hershey theme was apparent with the chocolate brown napkins and Kisses which were given at the end of the meal. The atmosphere is very casual, and many families were dining with young children.
The ingredients used were fresh and of high quality. However, the final product was very bland. I couldn't believe how tasteless the orecchiette and steak were. When my wife has to put salt on a dish, that's a problem. Also, kind of expensive for what you get. Service was very good.
Good food. Good value.
Great for kids. Menu is good for all. Sandwiches were very tasty. Service was attentive.
Some of the food was good but the eggplant parmigiana was awful. So oily it was inedible.
Disappointing. We reserved the Grill for Thanksgiving day dinner for the family. On entry to the restaurant, was surprised it seemed more like a diner than a formal restaurant. The advertisement was a bit misleading. The menu did have a Thanksgiving option; which was decent in presentation and flavor. Salmon salad was well presented and prepared. Servers were nice, but did not seem well trained, as they struggled a bit greeting and checking back with our table. Ambiance was noisy, and was surprised to find diners in jeans, t-shirts and sweats. Not what we expected for a holiday dining experience. Will not ever return, nor would I recommend the Grill.
Enjoyed Thanksgiving Dinner while visiting Hershey Lodge. We made a Noon Reservation and were taken immediately. Our waitress was very professional and welcoming. We enjoyed a so-so Turkey Dinner. I personally thought the potatoes, stuffing, gravy and root vegetables were not great. The turkey was cooked to my liking and the Chocolate Martini was the highlight of our meal. I might go back for another meal if I wanted to drive 5 hours through 4 states in the future.
We stayed at the Hershey Lodge for a few days vacation and ate at the Hershey Grill for convenience but ended up really enjoying it. Wouldn't hesitate to go back there if were ever in the area again.
This was our first time here, but not our last. We'll return next time in the area. Everything was delicious. I had tossed salad with sherry vinaigrette and pork schnitzel. My husband had the mushroom Brie soup and the butternut squash orecchiette. Big portions....we each took some home.. Dessert was pumpkin maple creme brûlée and bananas foster bread pudding. Amazing! Great service too.
Looking for a good meal while attending the Hershey antique car meet. This is nothing more than a hotel diner, no bar, limited alcohol selection, few beer choices, and a menu the equivalent of a best western hotel cafe. So for a thin over cooked New York strip and French fries, with a glass of water, it will do just fine.
