The Henry Ratings and Reviews
Outdoor patio was a great atmosphere with the fire place and quieter than inside. Cocktails were excellent. One of the best Old Fashions I have had. The short rib dish was delicious and I would order again. I would also recommend the smoked salmon appetizer.
Such a pleasant place. The wait staff was very accommodating. My only critique is easy to solve. This time of year is ideal for outdoor seating - upgrade your furniture (chairs) the plastic wicker is uncomfortable. The waitress was very sweet and traded my chair out for another.
The Henry was a nice location with a positive feel. We arrived on a Tuesday night and the house was pretty full. We did have reservations and were seated comfortably with a party of 6. The food was delicious and our waitress was familiar with all the different gluten free foods available and those that can be modified for those who are sensitive.
Miss the popovers. ParkerHouse rolls are just pappy-white bread with no redeeming food value, whereas popovers have to be hand-crafted; we were disappointed with this “substitute”. Also, the waiter seemed offended when we requested that we pour our own wine from the bottle into our glasses (we wanted to pace ourselves & keep the white wine chilled).
One of our favorite places! We live very close and The Henry is one of our “go to” options. The service is excellent and the food is consistently good. Love the seasonal ingredients—they had just switched out asparagus for Brussels Sprouts and butternut squash in my breakfast entree. Great atmosphere and lovely outdoor seating. Always bring out out of town friends to The Henry. Check the Bloody Mary cart! Highly recommend!
The Henry couldn’t locate my reservation though Open Table and left me standing awkwardly in their reception area while they tried to figure out the error and locate their manager..... how about you seat me and my guest and allow us to enjoy a coffee or drink instead of standing around while everybody is seated around us?
I have eaten at The Henry several times. Friday night they were off their game, WAY off. It was all service related. The food was, for the most part, very good. From check in at the hostess stand until we got the check the service was slow and full of excuses.
We found The Henry a few years ago during a vacation to Phoenix. We ate dinner there twice during that week because we enjoyed the ambiance, food, service and cocktails.
We return this trip to another wonderful meal and service. We were a little disappointed that the no longer served the cheddar popovers. They switched to a Parker roll that just wasn't tasty to us
We were at The Henry on a Sunday evening and the restaurant was surprisingly busy..... we asked to be seated in a booth and found it to be very comfortable with plenty of space. We both had soup to start and it was well seasoned, the right temperature and full of flavour........for our main course we split the prime rib with an extra side of 'slaw.....the beef was perfectly cooked with just the right amount of sauce, mushrooms and cheese. This was followed by my partner having an exceptional cappuccino......not overly hot with the correct proportions of froth, coffee and warm milk........all in all the perfect restaurant for food, coffee, atmosphere and not to forget a delightful Cosmo!!!!! Great night, great food, great place!!!!!!
I would has e given Henry 5 stars on everything
However, it was very busy when we came..
Service was a bit slow , took awhile to get waited on and some meals came a bit cool
That being said possibly not the norm here and let’s say ;
The Henry has a very cool vibe and food is prepared with great ingredients and we finish our meal feeling like we had a great healthy lunch👍
Outstanding experience overall and the food is delicious. No matter what you order it would be a great pick. However I recommend the Korean Steak and the Short Rib.
Definitely a great spot for a date, or just a casual nice night out. The device is great and the environment is on point.
We have gone to The Henry since it opened for brunch on the weekends. The last few Saturdays it has been awful. Hostesses that asked us to wait and then forgot we were there. Food that was dropped on the floor and then served cold. Pushed to small table and told larger tables aren’t for two and then watched 3 other couples get seated at the larger booths. Very disappointing.
