The Henry Ratings and Reviews
As a family we have frequented many Fox Restaurant Concept locations in Arizona over the past 3 years . We finally made it to The Henry and are very happy we did. The ambiance is energetic. The service is top notch and the food, as usual in a Fox Concept restaurant, was excellent. Varied choices and presentations along with great drink and wine selections lent itself to a great evening for us all. We loved it so much we returned for late morning coffee and pastries a few days later. We will return and highly recommend this dining experience.
Our waitress was super friendly and accommodating!! She was training a new waiter who was also very friendly so that was a great experience. The coffee I ordered almost tasted burnt so I would not recommend The Cleo, but that was just me (however I have been known as a coffee snob!) I ordered the Brussel Sprout Salad which was very good but personally not enough food for the amount I paid. However, all in all it was a great experience! Good food and great service !!! Would definitely go again
The place just felt lackluster this time. The service was slow, but it was pretty busy. The food was sort of disappointing too. I had the burger and it had very little flavor. I didn't use their Henry sauce so maybe that was the issue but it's pretty hard to make a bad burger.
My husband and I had a delightful meal on New Year’s Day! Our waitress, Rose, was a gem! She was funny, fast, and a font of information! The manager was very accommodating when Iasked him for fruit to replace the potatoes on my plate, and when it came, it was fresh and sweet.
We had a delightful time and plan to return soon!
My husband and I went to The Henry for our wedding anniversary. Positives: The service and food were excellent, the decor lovely, and my whiskey cocktail was incredibly delicious. Negatives: (1) It was pretty noisy with conversation. (2) There was a TV at the bar showing football. (There are myriad sports bars in metro Phoenix. Why does a nice restaurant need a TV? It's tacky.) (3) This seems like an odd complaint, but our food came way too quickly. We felt a little rushed. Overall: It was a nice night (if short), and I would go back.
Great beats and the food hit the spot. I highly recommend the breaded chicken sandwich, melts in your mouth, and my husband enjoyed the steak sandwich. Although the food was delicious, the tunes playing in the background on the patio were spot on for a Friday afternoon.
The beef short ribs were wonderful. I appreciated the fact that when I ordered a salad, the waitress told me that I could order a half salad. I did that and it was perfect. The regular sized salad would have been too much.
My only problem was the noise level. For someone hard of hearing it was difficult to chat with my dinner companion.
The Henry is always good - always delivers but...management should designate Happy Hour in all parts of the restaurant - not just the bar or small seating areas. The restaurant was completely empty and we actually had a hostess remove us from the empty restaurant so that we could sit either at the bar or at low tables. When we asked to speak to the manager, we were moved back into the empty restaurant. Most Fox Concepts restaurants allow customers to have Happy Hour anywhere. The Henry should follow suit...just a suggestion for a happy customer with kids.
Wonderful lunch at the Henry with a group of women from work. We each had wonderful salads and sandwiches and the service was outstanding. Thank you to our hostess, Emma, who helped us accommodate a last minute person to our table. Highly recommend the Bloomsdale Spinach Salad with a crispy poached egg. Fantastic!
I went to the Henry for the first time this week for a business lunch. When dining there for lunch, please know that parking is extremely difficult. There is very little parking at the restaurant and it took me over 25 minutes to find a parking spot that was 2 blocks away from the restaurant. I would highly recommend if you are dining here for lunch to take an Uber or Lyft rather than attempt to find parking. There are businesses behind the restaurant that may not be open at night so if you dine there at night, the parking situation may be different. Other than the parking issue, which was memorable but not in a great way, the food that my client and I ate was good... not fabulous nor bad, but good. The ambiance and decor were nice and the chairs were comfortable. Please know that the restaurant is quite loud so keep that in mind.
