The Henry - The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas Ratings and Reviews
My cousin and I were looking for a good dinner spot prior to catching a show on The Strip, and I could not be happier with our experience at The Henry! The staff was very attentive, and the cocktails and food were spectacular! The Henry is also an excellent people-watching location with easy access to the rest of the Cosmopolitan and the Strip. I can highly recommend the tater tot nachos and the signature meatloaf, and the Rosè All Day cocktail was delicious.
We were able to get a table within 30 mins; I messed up our reservations. Service wasn't great. Waiter was very friendly but seemed busy and hardly checked on our table. Food was hit or miss. Hubs got the filet mignon and eggs and absolutely loved it. I had the French toast, which was huge but there's nothing else to note. It was subpar and something I could get anywhere. It wouldn't be my first choice for a restaurant, but if someone recommended it I wouldn't be against it either.
Had reservations and were seated right away. Waiter was attentive and Johnny on the spot.
My wife ordered the French Toast which is a huge meal that two could share but very delicious. I ordered the Short Rib Benedict and it was nothing short of amazing. We would definitely return to dine again.
The service could be better. Our waitress had to come back to our table twice to double check the vodka brand and cocktail order placed, upon the slow initial welcome. Then our waitress forgot our appetizer (the manager comped, which was welcome -- as it should have been).
Overall, the drinks and food were good but the speed and level of service could improve, as the restaurant was not crowded. A cool vibe in a cool casino though.
On the night we flew in to Vegas, my husband and I wanted a reservation for a late night dinner that was close to our hotel, casual and moderately priced. The Henry fit the bill with its all day breakfast foods and comfort foods. The dirty martinis were generous pours and delicious. We enjoyed dinners of meatloaf and pasta bolognese. We liked that The Henry has a low noise level so we could enjoy a conversation without raising our voices as opposed to some of the area eateries.
The Brioche French toast with a mix of fresh berries was great--definitely large enough to share too. My husband ordered the corned beef scramble--enjoyed the scramble, though the over abundance of small baby potatoes underneath the scramble in the cast iron pan was not a hit--would have preferred hash browns. The beignets need to be tweaked as they were not light and airy and were served table side in a bag with granulated sugar vs traditional powdered sugar.
