Every single dish is made to perfection. It has been on the top of my restaurant list for a long time.
We have been wanting to try this restaurant for years. For us, it missed the mark. We went with another couple, who it was there first time, as well. The dishes are crazy overpriced and they don't even give you bread (you have to buy that). The guys left hungry after spending over $100 a couple without any alcohol! Everything was overdone with olive oil. We have had tapas in Europe and this stuff was nothing like what we have experienced. We not be going back. What a disappointment. My husband was sick in the middle of the night, afterwards, so that pretty much is the last nail in the coffin.
The food and ambience were excellent. Our server was non-excellent.
We went there to celebrate our anniversary. Once seated, they brought us glasses of delicious champagne on the house. This was the first time we had been there, so they explained the menu and how to order. Everything was so incredibly good, I'm sure you can't go wrong with anything you order. We were in heaven and will definitely go back.
This is no doubt the best restaurant in Seattle. The staff is professional, highly talented, down to earth and very aware. There is a reason why this place has been in business for 18+ years and some of the staff has been there for 15+ years!
A small family dinner became a festive and memorable occasion the evening we spent at The Harvest Vine. All tapas all the time, and we greatly enjoyed the prawns, octopus, spinach, jambon, mushrooms/rice, olives and a very nice tempranillo. HV is in an older building in Madison Park, full of warmth and character. Highly recommended.
The Harvest Vine looks tiny from the outside, but you head downstairs for more tables. It is a cozy place with nice staff that provide good service. The trout with potatoes and the wrapped lamb with beans were both good. While not the usual dessert, we both enjoyed the coffee flavored and chocolate flavored sandwiches.
Food and service were excellent. Beautiful flavors. We enjoyed the sheep cheese, the duck galentine, the octopus, the lamb, and the pork. Everything was so delicious. Service was wonderful, made sure putt drinks were never empty, and had helpful descriptions of the food. Also had great recommendations of fun places to go around town. Thank you!
Really expensive for what you get. Some dishes are pretty exceptional, but definitely not all of them.
First time we've been here.
The waitress gave us a right recommendation for wine. It was great for pairing. Just a little pricey in my opinion.
Our first visit (party of 6) to Harvest Vine in honor of Restaurant Week. The food was very good and the service was excellent. We especially enjoyed the wine, roasted beet appetizer, pan fried trout and flan for dessert. We will be back...
The meal was excellent. We have been coming to Harvest Vine since we moved to Seattle and it has never disappointed. We are from Spain and I can confirm that the flavors are very Spanish, this is the real thing. We usually go with friends and order almost everything on the menu so we can sample different dishes. The portions are on the smaller side and they recommend between 5-6 per couple. We had 10 dishes and 3 desserts (4 people), all of them of excellent quality and flavor. That's why we keep coming back again and again.
Great food, wine and fantastic service. It's always a pleasure to stop by for dinner.
Harvest Vine never disappoints. We've been going for 15 years for dates, special occasions, family visits and work gatherings; you can always count on excellent food, great wine choice, pleasant atmosphere and super friendly staff. Our favorite place.
One of the best restaurants in Seattle. The iberica is our favorite, absolutely delicious!
This was my first time to Harvest Vine. We had exceptional food, which is shared at the table family style. The server indicated that sharing was best, and that food was presented in a tapas style. As someone that is not a fan of smaller plates, I was very impressed by the quality of the food. We had six plates that we shared, and two desserts. This was enough for three of us.
Overall, the experience was very good. The service was good, but at times it seemed as though we were being rushed.
Fantastic dining experience. Great food and service. This restaurant is a Seattle gem.
This was our second visit in two days. Whenever we travel to Seattle, we plan to dine at The Harvest Vine. The Basque/Spanish tapas menu is fantastic, featuring fresh ingredients and seasonal selections. I was particularly happy to find a couple of dishes with fresh anchovies - a taste that's often hard to find beyond the Mediterranean. Each dish can easily be shared among 2-4 people, allowing you to sample much more of the menu than you'd otherwise experience ordering for yourself only.
This is hands down my favorite restaurant. The ambiance, food quality and great service combine to make it an experience. This is my go to for birthdays, entertaining clients and co-workers as well any time I need to pamper myself.
I can't recommend it enough, go, you won't be disappointed.
The food and the ambiance were great. The service was impeccable. I would strongly recommend it!
Amazing restaurant that stays true to its roots....authentic Spanish style tapas made with great care and ingredients. I have been to the Harvest Vine on several occasions and have never been disappointed. I went with a long time friend this week and the food and service were both amazing.
Really good food. Great for special occasion or a special date.
We've been coming here for years and the food is still dependable. I'm not one to leave reviews for service generally speaking, since that is not what we go to restaurants for. However, this is the first occasion here where our server impacted our experience substantially. General timing of food arrival was terrible, spotty - we suspect we were skipped. Secondly one dish was first mistakenly offered to another table then brought to us when they realized the other table hadn't ordered that dish. Finally one dish was forgotten altogether.
This restaurant was recommended to me by a friend and I was initially skeptical. I am not familiar with Spanish Basque cuisine and fancy/expensive restaurants are not my forte but I went anyway with an open mind. My friends and I were NOT disappointed! Every dish we had was surprisingly delicious, creative, and enjoyable. Everything from the beet salad to the foie gras (neither had I ever had before) was enjoyable. The atmosphere was relaxed but elegant. I felt like I could go with friends (which I did) or for a romantic evening. It was expensive but the food and service was such I felt it was worth it! The staff was friendly and did not mind or correct me when I could not pronounce the names of the dishes I was ordering. It was an elegant restaurant that I actually felt comfortable in!
We always love the tapas at Harvest Vine. The service is good, and the food is always unusual and delicious.
Really great food! Wonderful experience as this was all shared plates and got to try a fair amount of their menu. Tried some of their specials for the day as well as some of the standard menu options and was not disappointed.
Best restaurant in Seattle. Consistently! There is a reason why they've been around for so long and they are always packed!
I give this restaurant 10 stars! Excellent food, GREAT wait staff (as in authentically friendly AND knowledgeable about food/wine pairings as well as efficient and unobtrusive), amazing wine list, wonderful ambience in the wine cellar (haven't tried the upstairs yet, but will) easy, nearby parking. A true Seattle gem. I live on Vashon but this will be my Number 1 dinner destination from now on! (Did I mention that the music was wonderful but NOT blaring, which is a first for me in Seattle? Conversation didn't require shouting. What a concept!)
Fabulous restaurant every visit. Incredibly lucky to have them nearby.
We went to Harvest Vine thinking that it would be a Basque restaurant. It is definitely more traditional Spanish, not Basque per se. (That was ok, it's just that if you say that's your thing then there should be some traditional Basque foods on the menu.) But I love Spanish food, and they did a very nice job of everything we sampled.
We shared some plates, the Rioja wine was a perfect accompaniment to the beet salad "Remolachas" (simple preparation, very nice). We also shared the torta Espanola. A delightful potato, onion and egg dish - very traditional. Of special note was the Iberica pork dish "Iberica". So tasty, so perfectly cooked.
We wanted to try everything, but this was actually perfect with a glass of Rioja, and we enjoyed dining in the wine cellar. I was transported back to Spain!
Amazing experience at Harvest Vine recently. Seriously probably the best food we have ever had. Can't wait to return.
Great food. We like every dish we ordered, but the favorite is the grill octopus, the Cheese, potato pancake. The only downer was that they ran out of 2 daily specials, and it was only 6:30pm.
I had not been here for a few years. Sorry I waited so long to come back. The HV deserves its foodie reputation. The food is just plain excellent. Portions are small so this can end up being a very expensive dinner if you are a hungry big eater. But we enjoyed it immensely.
The food and service was great! We loved everything about it. It is a little pricey for everyday dining.
Went to the Harvest Vine with my wife for her birthday. Making reservations online was really easy, we showed up a little early and they took us to our table with no waiting.
The service was great and the food is spectacular. Just a great meal all around. It's pricey but totally worth it for a special occasion.
We enjoyed the food. And our waiter, Dennis, is knowledgeable of the menu with good recommendation. This was my second visit to the restaurant. And I was not disappointed. Will visit again.
Very inflexible. As one example, couldn't get pork cooked beyond medium
Great Food!! Gave happy birthday cake!!! Wished server was dressed a bit classier but he was sweet and personable.
Went to dinner here for my boyfriend's birthday. Great service and amazing food as always. We were in the downstairs area which is less lively. I like upstairs better. Overall, it was a great experience as usual.
This was our first time at Harvest Vine, server was Very helpful! We ordered 5 different plates between 2 of us, we enjoyed everything! Flavors were delicious, we will be back!
