Very stingy. Honestly just for The principle, it Will be the last time I go there.
Fuego restaurant is far better
We had to ask multiple times for sauce, ketchup, and the bill. It seemed, at times, that the wait staff forgot we were there.
In a place that is very busy the experience was wonderful! the food was outstanding and the service was with a smile The recommendations were thoughtful The wine selection ,a bit pricey, but lots of exciting choices!
We go often to harbour and the food is always always excellent. Our go-to date night place. Sushi, steaks, its all amazing.
My wife and I were at the Harbor Grill which we reserved before. We were enjoying the ambiance, the service and the food, until the owner saw us sitting in the seats our waiter had escorted us to. After one look at us, or rather, the place we were occupying and the man seemed to lose it and he began to scream at his workers:
"Who gave them this place? This is already booked for someone else! Tell them to stand up - NOW!" He used some other words as well, which I have chosen not to write here. He started to move us, by picking up our car-seat with the baby inside.
My wife and i were shaken-up and ashamed. We didn't know what to do. "The waitress seated us here,” my wife tried to placate the owner to no avail, "what do you want from us?!" We enjoyed that spot, cuz it was hot and warm for our 3 month old. We asked the waitress: "Will he at-least compensate us?"
"What compensation do you want?" she asked, and my wife replied: "Maybe 20 percent off..."
The Waitress went to ask the owner, and he came bursting out: "Who do you think you are?! a female cat?!" and he went on and on, yelling and screaming, until we picked our-self up and left the table.
Btw, He didn't apologize (even after we emailed him this review in private).
Still i must say, food was great and the waitress too. But paying top dollar, and getting such a treatment, was something we never experienced earlier.
So, how can we recommend it to a friend?
Its not even a race. Harbour Grill by far the best Kosher Steak house in Miami. Consistent, Great tasting food. It can be hard to get a table as its so popular, but I would recommend waiting for this amazing restaurant.
Our waiter was great. Personable and friendly. He made everything sound good we ordered tons of food! And it didn't disappoint!
Don't forget to order the charcuterie. It's fantastic!
GREAT restaurant! Really enjoyed. Alex gave us superb service. Can't wait to go back!
Our server, Adam, was polite, respectful and patient. He was attentive to our needs throughout the meal. It was the first time I saw my husband add more to the 18 percent tip automatically added to the bill. We both ordered steak, but different cuts. Both were done to our specification and were good quality meat. We generally have a meal at this restaurant when we are in Florida and have never been disappointed.
Great flavors. They can do the American standby steak flavor just fine, but also the "out there" asian chicken salad was amazing. Everything great, get ALL the desserts!
We enjoyed the grade A food. Make a reservation in season. The chocolate fondue desert was a great way to end the meal.
the food was very good,
the place looks great
the servers were very pleasant, and well mannered
food came fast
over all a 10, and can't wait to come again.
Lets start off my saying that i have a food blog and was looking forward to posting a nice review about HG, as i had previously enjoyed a meal by you (on vacation from new jersey). I'm kind of disappointed with Harbor Grill.. we had a 9pm reservation, got seated outdoors after 20 minutes. 67° outside.. a bit chilly for Miami.. Ordered our food.. 10:20 pm and still no food. Our server was very nice and kept on apologizing for a "busy kitchen" which is understandable.. we asked for complimentary soup as we were cold and VERY hungry but we were denied after the server spoke to his manager. I'm quite disappointed, had previous good experiences here... by the time we got our food we were running late and had to eat in a hurry, thats never enjoyable. I left a note telling the waiter it is not his fault we weren't happy, he was doing best he could. management on the other hand.. not so much.
This is a pleasant restaurant and on confirmation of our reservation (strongly recommended) we were promptly seated. The starters came pretty fast but the main really took a long time, I suspect that our server forgot to place the order straightway . The main was perfectly done and tasted great but my wife and I both walked out hungry as the portions are just too small especially considering that this is not a cheap restaurant ($60 to $80) per person. The ambiance and staff were very nice so I'd recommend the Harbor Grill for anyone not too hungry.
Seeing the owner himself greeting guest and making sure everything is running smoothly is truly amazing, the food is off the charts!!!
Took 7 people there for mom's 86th birthday. Inventive appetizers, good but overpriced mains. But service was rushed because they booked reservations too close together. At these prices, and for this occasion I expected not to be rushed. The 18 percent automatic tip for service seems to have become standard operating procedure but I still resent it. Unfortunately the limited kosher restaurant competition enables mediocrity at premium prices
We are so jaded by this amazing restaurant that we actually expect everything to be perfect. And it always is. Friendly attentive service, superb tasting food and drink, just a dream gourmet restaurant.
Amazingwe shared a cote de beouf. It was cooked to perfection and absolutely delicious
we had a great meal... ordered the sushi as a starter....it wasnt amazing but good. I ordered a sliced fillet and my husband ordered the peppercorn. Mine was good but I think by slicing it lost some heat....and was not as juicy... if I go back I will not get it sliced. Our server Jessie was knowledgeable and very pleasent
We have been a few times before to the Harbour Grill and every time the food is consistent. It is delicious.
The service was good. The server was knowledgeable and helpful.
We will be back.
The food was great. The service was adequate. I thought the wine list was too expensive considering you can buy any bottle for 1/4 of the price. I took clients and they were impressed with taste of Kosher food. Thanks.
Best kosher meat spot I have been to and that includes NY city!
I think this is an overrated restaurant . The meat is good but not great and the service needs to improve . We were seated on time but then ignored as it was a busy night . The prices are expensive and you expect more when you are paying these prices.
Best kosher establishment in South Florida! Highly recommend.
Great food and fast n friendly service...every
Thing we tried was out of this world!!!
Usually it's very good but this time the kitchen would not accommodate a special request which only involved removing an item and replacing it by another. Non which are cooked
Our steak was fair
It was one of those nights!!! :(
Was seated right away, food was very quick to arrive, was delicious.
The dining experience was great, food and service were as expected in an upscale resteraunt. My wife has a list of food allergies and they were very helpful in accomodating her.
We would definitely go back.
The food is plentiful and absolutely amazing. The appetizers, alone, can be a meal. The onion rings are terrific, and the meat is superb. A bit noisy and I certainly recommend a reservation for dinner because the place was packed. The seating is very tight and your neighbor is close enough to hear your conversation, so may not be the best for a romantic dinner or a confidential business meeting.
The food was simple, tasty, fresh.
But I found it to be more of an overpriced diner.
Don't order the tomato-avocado salad. I can slice my own tomato and avocado at home, without paying a fortune.
Veal chop was cooked to perfection.
Duck was disappointing.
Créme Brûlée delicious.
Very enjoyable experience. Food was delicious and the ambiance, while not the quiet romantic white table cloth type is very pleasing to look at. My only issue was the small servings of ketchup that was given. Had a small order of fries and had to ask 3 times for some ketchup because they put in a nice stainless steel cup that is enough for 2 fries. I wasnt going to ask for a 4th cup so I just ate the rest without ketchup.
Food is usually great there. This time I ordered smoked ribs and they were over cooked and mushy. I mentioned it to my server but no sympathy
If you are looking for a place with consistent great dishes, look no further. There is no better Kosher restaurant in South Florida.
Was looking for a good kosher burger - found a great one! Too bad they are not open after shabbat.
We enjoyed delicious dinner, a very nice wine, and impeccable service and attention from the staff. We make sure to have dinner here every time we come to Miami Beach.
If you keep kosher and always wanted to order "shrimp" or "bacon" this is the opportunity. Warning the real stuff tastes much better. Did not try the steaks which according to Jesse the server (was very good) are the best items on the menu.
We heard such great things about harbour Grill...but we were very disjointed. The food was just ok...nothing special and defiantly not worth the money. Would not go back unless they make serious changes.
This place always is on mark, food is incredible.
Veal chop was best I've ever had.
King reserve steak is best meat I've ever tasted.
Apps are awesome.
Really top notch.
Top 3 kosher restaurants in world.
