Ok experience - didn't realize it is similar to Old Ebbitts Grill - many menu items identical, plates and service identical - owned by same company. Food quality, value not worth price - would not go back.

Server was terrible. Never followed up and it seems he forgot to submit our order to the kitchen since entrees arrived over 35 minutes after the appetizer plates were cleared by restaurant staff. I had to ask another server for water and a refill on ice tea. The tables around arrived much later than us and received their food well before ours arrived. In fact a couple of tables finished their dinner and paid their check before our food even arrived. We dine at The Hamilton at least 10 times a year and have been going there for years. We have always had great service until last night.

Arrived at the change of shift. Had a reservation, was seated promptly, but waited 25 minutes for even a glass of water for the table. Had eye contact with the wait staff once, finally flagged someone down and the service improved. The table next to us returned both of their meals. Our food was good - sushi, sandwiches, salads.

Great service, good, and atmosphere! Our waiter Brian was awesome and the Manager checked on us and made sure everything was perfect. I highly recommend this restrurant.
