I wanted to sit at the second bar where is was less crowded and I asked can we change the TV to the knicks game they said no cause people was watching a softball game people who was not sitting at the bar they was sitting on the other side of the wall and did not once look at the TV

Delightful standby that never disappoints. The trout was amazing, as were the scallops with gnocchi. This visit we were in one of the lovely little window alcoves, but elbowing in at the bar for some sushi is also an excellent experience!

The server didn’t come for at least 15-20 minutes after we were seated. I got the attention of a Hostess to let them know. The Hostess seemed not concerned so I requested a Manager. Someone came and said they would “find” our Server. The Server never followed up or forgot things. I ordered Iced Tea. Server did bring Simple Syrup as requested. However, 10 minutes later I had to flag down server for the Iced Tea. Then another 10 minutes for straw. Thankfully the server didn’t bring the food. The Manager wasn’t stellar and customer oriented like in other dining establishments. I wouldn’t be surprised if the Hostess simply sent another Hostess over instead of the Manager as we requested. Food was amazing. Service took away from the experience.

I love The Hamilton and will always come back. Having said that the Caesar Salad at today’s lunch was very disappointing. First off it wasn’t very big and filled about 1/3 of the serving dish (either get a smaller dish or put in more salad). Then the romaine lettuce was all the tough ends with no greens. My gluten free version was smaller than my lunch partner’s and had all Thai red lettuce (which wasn’t very tasty). Them the salad was over-dressed. My lunch partner (visiting from London) ate less than 1/2 of his. Disappointing from a usually great restaurant.
