Zhaire was a fantastic server. His playful, yet professional energy made our dinner with an active 9 month-old, enjoyable and stress free.
Server was great however the pricey filet was dry and cool. The Brussels sprouts were also Luke warm
The staff was so friendly and welcoming and the food was delicious!
It was truly an amazing dining experience. I went there for the Half-price sushi, which was phenomenal compared to a lot of places in DC. Definitely a top place for sushi in the District.
The service was great and helpful in giving us space, but also being attentive. Would definitely go back again!
Food was great, service as always great and overall wonderful dining experience.
Great food, service and staff
The ambiance and food at The Hamilton is consistently excellent. The service is also very good. I always enjoy eating in this Restaurant Group's properties.
Great place. Went Sunday night around 10:30. Very reasonable and the prices were excellent. Food was fresh! Best Brussels sprouts, ever! I’ll definitely keep this in my rotation.
We absolutely loved Hamilton!! Our server, Darian, was personal, professional and helpful in guiding our menu selections. The food was quite flavorful and fresh. The atmosphere was fun and we had a fantastic time. I can’t wait to return to DC for an encore eating experience. The only annoying thing is parking. We had to park it in a garage a couple of blocks away. Parking was validated for partial garage cost.
The food was amazing and so was dessert. It was a bit crowded, maybe because it was President’s Day weekend, but the service was great. Our waitress Kelsey was awesome!
The food was good and I really enjoyed the ambiance, but our service was very poor. Our waitress looked very stressed and was forgetting to bring us things we asked for, like my sister's drink. If she did bring us something it took her a while to get back around to us.
We visited during the sushi happy hour and ordered 8 rolls, which all fit perfectly on a large square plate. They were all delicious (try the Firecracker signature roll)! The service was good, but our waitress didn't come by to check on us often. It may have been because the restaurant was busy (not even close to packed) but we needed a water refill which wasn't offered. Other than that everything was great!
Great business meeting dining spot!
Great value on the food plus good quality service descent and friendly
Good food, great donuts, bread, appetizers. Sunday brunch very slow and loud. Ordered at 12:15, received food at 1:30pm. Overworked staff forgot to put in our order. Not worth the hassle of driving into the District and hunting for parking or paying White House adjacent parking premium.
Brunch is busy, server missed a few things (no drink refills without explicit requests, wrong eggs Benedict brought to table). Menu however is great, and prices are reasonable. Also appreciate the size of Hamilton which can accommodate a lot of people (a plus when it's hard to find a brunch spot on the weekends in DC!).
Had brunch there-loved every bite. Service was excellent (thank you Jessica!). Will be back!
Great atmosphere. Great portion sizes. Beautiful space! Overall great experience.
Beautiful building great food and service!
The food was superb and the service was great!!! Ambience was wonderful
We were in a private booth in the front very romantic and wonderful way to celebrate
Sushi happy hour was great. All the food was tasty & I would recommend visiting this spot while in DC. Be sure to make a reservation.
Fantastic waiter. Food well prepared. Really enjoyed our visit.
Food is always great at Hamilton thats why I continue to go there! . It took a while to get our food..like 40 min. After I mentioned the lengthy delay The manager brought to out to us. All was forgiven once we got to eat!!
We’ve been here a few times now and enjoy the food and cocktails.
Enjoyed myself. This was a last minute decision to grab brunch with a good friend. Neither party was disappointed. Even took a to-go order.
We've been going to the Hamilton for years now, but the past few times we've stopped by, the service has been sub-par from start to finish. When we checked in for our reservation, the hostess seated several parties who came in after us before I had to follow up with her to get my party seated. Our server was wonderful, but her section was either oversat or the restaurant was short-staffed, because she wasn't able to check in on us frequently enough. The food took a long time to arrive (we got our appetizer promptly, but waited a good 45 minutes between finishing it and our entrees arriving) and our glasses would be empty for long stretches before our server would be able to get back to see about refills. I don't know if there's been a change in management, or we've just had really bad luck the last few times we've gone, but I don't think we'll be going back to find out.
Waiter forgot to place my wife’s order
Mannnnnn If You Like Chicken And Mumbo Sauce From The Carry Out This the place plenty other gud items but that was by far my favorite
Great atmosphere, beautiful architecture and views around the restaurant. Excellent food for great value. Will definitely return!
The hostess continued to seat people before us. We had to remind her that we were there first and had a reservation. The waiter took 35 minutes to come take our order and about 20 minutes to bring boxes and the check.
I met a friend for lunch. The food was awesome, but it took 45 minutes before we were served our food. And it wasn’t that crowded so we weren’t sure why it took so long. This caused me to be late going back to work. We thought that lunch would not take so long. Other than that everything was fine.
First there was no one to greet us.
Then the waiter was rude food cold n not fresh we left n didn’t eat anything bad time
Try the Brick Chicken! Delicious!
I Loved how my food came At a timely fashion ! I loved how the waiter and everyone in general was checking on me and my partner making sure we was satisfied ! , THE MASH POTATOES AND CRAB CAKES WERE AMAZING ! THE WINGS WERE ON POINT ! We will def be back before the month is over ! Made are 2 year anniversary and valentines Day Worth Coming out !
I Was very satisfied !
Great salad, filet mignon tender and flavorful as can be, ambiance in one of their multiple rooms was quiet and beautifully paneled.
Best sushi I've had in a long time and for happy hour its half off.
SERVICE WAS GOOD.. BUT COULD HAVE SEATED IN PROPER DINNING AREA THAN CLOSE TO BAR
The Hamilton was amazing. My husband and I went there for Valentine’s Day...it was our first visit and definitely won’t be our last. I waiter Max was very attentive to us...he asked about food allergy and made sure that the kitchen was aware...go go go!
We went for my sister's 50th birthday. The staff work friendly and responsive. The food and service were excellent
