    Our server gave us some great recommendations, although it has six dream, Lee busy he wasn’t as attentive to our drinks or food. The noise level was extremely high, which prevented us from a quiet evening of talking.

    The service was horrible. They messed up our order multiple times. By the time my food came out, the rest of my party was finished. There were only three of us, and it took an hour and a half to get our lunch. I ended up missing a meeting. They did apologize, but did not comp anything, which we were shocked by. I don’t plan to return.

    The Hamilton was AMAZING. Great sushi and probably the best crab cake I’ve ever had! Our waiter, Luel, was excellent! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

    We enjoyed a great dinner of branzino shrimp and pasta grilled octopus and au gratin potatoes. Lionel was our server and did an excellent job. The place was bustling. We will definitely go back.

    We usually love The Hamilton, but this time our portions were unusually small for the price. They did give us free champagne, as we were celebrating our anniversary; however, it wasn’t the usual experience. I’m not sure we would go back.

    Dinner is always super yummy when I come to the Hamilton. Tonight I had a miso soup along with the imperial roll. I wasn’t super early impressed by the imperial roll even adding in cream cheese and scallions but the miso soup is always good. I typically order the yellowtail carpaccio, which is the best I should’ve went with that along with my soup service was outstanding as usual always five star.

    The service was poor- ordered a gin martini and received vodka, ordered dressing on the side, came dressed. The NY strip was poor quality (very skinny) and not medium rare. Don’t recommend the steak at the restaurant.

    2nd order of gnocchi was inconsistent with the first. Coconut rum “cake” was….strange. It was like a heavily coconut covered snowball and the cake was like mush. Sent both back.

    Love this place. It’s my “go to” whenever I’m in DC. Tonight’s selection was the Pork Chop Milanese which was spectacular. Definitely worth a try.

    This is a great place for tourists that is not a long walk from the Mall. It has a very “DC” feel. Service was friendly and experienced. I wasn’t that impressed with the food. Definitely didn’t like the peach cobbler, which was disappointingly dough-y.

    The Hamilton has a pretty casual vibe. People were wearing shorts and t-shirts as well as business casual. There were business folks and families with children. The place has a good selection of food including sushi so you can eat light if you like. We ate there once for lunch and another time for dinner and all of our selections were good.

    I’m so glad I ran across this place online. I ordered the crab cakes which is my favorite and I must say this is one of the best. My husband ordered the steak with the Hamilton sauce. So delicious. I reserved on open table. Great service.

    The lamb is extremely small! They also put a tomatoe Sauce on the catfish and grits platter. Beware. Overall, nice place but the dishes try to be a little more gourmet but they try too hard. The calamari was great and the wine!

    This was my first visit to The Hamilton and maybe my last. The server was the best experience. I asked for a side table and I was sat in the middle of mayhem I was placed between two tables with children that acted like animals. I know you don’t own the animal children but you could have placed them more remote or a single man away from them. It was a HORRIBLE and expensive experience. No one ever asked (management) how I was doing but the man at the front desk walked by many times. Not sure if I’ll ever come back. HORRIBLE!

    Working in a fine dining restaurant myself has made this quite the experience. The restaurant itself was absolutely breathtaking with how big it was, the super friendly staff and to the energetic and stellar server I had. I will be returning and recommending 10/10, forbes list worthy!!

    We arrived at 6, ordered at 610, bread and drinks arrived at 615….(wait for it)….dinner arrived like 715! Terrible. Total mess. Skip the resturant and just head to sitting at the bar.
