We require all guests to wear a mask while moving about the restaurant, and when speaking to Clyde's employees.
Masks have been a hot topic, with passionate views on all sides. With our team and their families' health at stake, we must err on the side of caution. We hope you will understand and look forward to the day, hopefully soon, when we can all throw our masks in the trash.

My experience was great as always when I come. Great service and food. One of my favorite restaurants. District wings are a MUST!!!
We booked our reservations at 8:30pm but had to be out of the restaurant by 9:20pm. If we knew they were closing earlier we would have never booked this time. The expensive was too rushed and by far my worst at experience at the Hamilton. The server came to the table too many times and almost felt like he was the gatekeeper. I recommend they stop taking reservations at 7:30pm so the experience is more enjoyable. I will not return until after Covid-19.

A great place to have Sunday brunch! It's too bad that the pandemic has limited business for The Hamilton and other fine restaurants. The food and drinks were excellent. The service attentive. Most of all, the staff was very mindful of social distancing regulations and made us feel safe while we were dining. I hope they can sustain themselves financially.
I was happy to be able to eat indoors (during COVID) but disappointed with the food. My filet was ordered medium rare as is customary for that cut of meat. But it came overcooked and barely warm. The compound butter on top barely melted. The other problem we had was with our drinks. We ordered a non-alcoholic drink they had on their menu, a no-no Negroni. They served a real Negroni. If someone orders a non-alcoholic drink it’s for a reason! Very careless and such a lack of attention to detail but both the kitchen and bartender.
P.S. I did not send my filet back to the kitchen to have it properly prepared because having worked in restaurants myself, I don’t trust kitchens/servers not to tamper with my food. That’s not to say it would happen at this restaurant.
Waiter was great and attentive! The food was very good and came out quickly ! I had the chicken wings to start followed by the shrimp tacos. Great choices indeed!

My friends and I frequently go to the Hamilton. Normally for happy hours a few times a month. I also have been going there for my birthday for the last three years and I was ecstatic that I got to go there again this year. Their staff is amazing and all COVID procedures/practices were very on point. Highly recommend!

Poor rude service characterized my visit to the Hamilton. Quite unfortunate, everyone from the check in counter to be seated to the waitress. Would not go back.

The Hamilton is one of my new favorite restaurants. I literally have nothing bad to say about this place except for that lamp on our table had to go lol. From beginning to end I enjoyed my brunch experience. The calamari and firecracker shrimp appetizers were oh so appetizing. The cocktails gave me a good buzz and the Chicken Biscuit with Eggs and Gravy. I could eat for breakfast every other day.

Food was great! Shrimp tacos and the Hamilton burger were very tasty.. Best cornbread we’ve ever had- waiter was great! We will definitely be back for those dishes we tried.

Great meal. Nervous about sitting inside but this restaurant is taking every precaution. You MUST wear a mask at all times except when eating/drinking. We basically did not see any other patrons as we were tucked away in an awesome little booth with its own wooden doors! So cool. Food was good. Service was great (thanks Alex!).
OUTSTANDING dining experience!
Really bad experience. Drinks came out after food, food was incorrect, and I ate my entire meal before my wife’s meal came out. Finally once her meal came out her stake was terrible. The manager comped the drinks, and was very polite, but certainly won’t be going back. Way better restaurants in DC, if you’re a tourist— sure, if you live here — avoid at all costs.

As usual, everything was great. They definitely instituted intentional and sensible measures for COVID procedures and we were very satisfied.
We were able to sit outside and the weather was perfect. The appetizers were delicious, and the entrees were even more delicious. It was nice to get out during this pandemic and the Hamilton was the perfect place to do so
We went out to brunch yesterday but were not sure how wise it was with the Coronavirus worries. However, we were reassured by the restaurant's obvious concern for high standards of hygiene, the fact that we were place in a booth well away from other diners, and the very high level of concern shown by our waiter. The food is wonderful and we wanted to enjoy it one more time before leaving town.
Server never refilled drinks, never checked on the food order, and after dropping dessert menu he did not come back for 15 minutes. We were planning to order some, but due to his poor service all night we did not feel like spending anymore time in this restaurant.
Could have been a great experience with a different server. Disappointing and the first bad review I have ever left after on open table. As a past server I am typically understanding of slow service, but our experience here was bad on a new level!
50th bday for wife, waiter couldn’t of cared less.
The service and ambiance was fine, however something didn’t sit right with me from the sushi as I became ill soon after consumption.
Our server was amazing. Great communication and rapport. Highly recommend.
My wife and I have been to DC twice, but we’ve probably eaten at The Hamilton 6 times. It’s that good! The beer and wine selection is great, and the quality and variety of food is great. If that wasn’t enough, they have concerts several nights a week. If you haven’t tried The Hamilton, do yourself a favor and try it out.

Hard to beat the value here. The food is as good as can be, but not overpriced like some places in the area. Excellent service as well.

My husband had the chicken bowl and he loved it. I had the sausage ragu which I didn't have high expectations for, but it ended up being delicious! We had the apple crumb pie for breakfast, which was okay, but nothing to get excited about. I would definitely come back here.

Great place to meet up with friends! Easily accommodate our group of 6 and there was something for everyone!
This was our first time having brunch at The Hamilton and our Shrimp & Grits and Norwegian "Bennie" were very well-prepared. Our waitperson was friendly and attentive without being overbearing. We could have used a little more legroom in the booth as one of our party is quite tall but otherwise the seating was very comfortable. We will definitely return!
