There are plenty of good things about The Half Pint including the menu options and the food itself, the neighborhood, and the lively crowds but there are two words that really capture the spirit. Mimosa Towers.
Was loud and the food was just ok. Fortunately the service was good.
Had a great time with bottomless mimosas with friends. The food was not amazing and the brunch did not have much variety but was about average. Overall fun and relaxed atmosphere! Would happily go again.
A friend reccommended this place so I brought a group of visiting friends for a weekend brunch. The staff did not aid in menu at all and we had to ask for drinks often and be persistent to get refills on bottomless drinks. Food is average, not a large menu. There are very little to no gluten free options. One of my friends found a piece of styrofoam in her salad. There are many other brunch places in New York and I would not waste a brunch on this place.
Amazing service and food!
The service was great, but the food and drinks were even better. Definitely coming back for brunch again.
Went for a birthday and friends gathering. Really nice place, excellent service, fairly priced and the angry burger simply delicious.
A few of my friends met up in the city for a weekend and The Half Pint was our stop for Brunch. It was definitely by far one of the best brunch experiences I have had. Great food, drinks, and service was incredible. Management was very friendly as well. We liked this place so much that we went back later in the day for some additional drinks.
The bottomless mimosa honestly changed my life and I’m now a different person
Very good service and food all around!
Thank you so much for having a great wait staff and amazing food. Most brunch places ive been to wait forever to refill glasses on bottomless options, but our waitress was there every time before I could even finish a glass! Love the place too. Ill be back!
Great for a group brunch with bottomless brunch cocktails!
I went for a date, we chose to sit and eat the bar - food was great, service was friendly and fast, and pricing was moderate. I'd definitely go back here again!
We visited The Half Pint before a theatrical performance at NYU. The staff was friendly and the service was great. We particularly liked the Bavarian pretzel appetizer and they have a nice selection of beer.
We visited the Half Pint for my boyfriend's birthday, just in time for brunch. Of course we were there for the bottomless mimosas and our servers ensured that we got our money's worth! Our food was plentiful and delicious and I'm not sure how we managed to fot in dessert at the end! My only complaint was that the music volume ensured a great deal of yelling between tablemates in order to be heard. Not only did we have a lovely time, but the staff graciously allowed us to return later and use the restroom on our way to the subway. 12/10, would recommend!
We were heading to the Cookie Dough store so I just looked up places to eat we would be passing along the way. I picked this one because it looked neat and had lots of options on the menu. Music was great and so was the food! We will definitely visit here again!
Great brunch! Just $19 for bottomless mimosas with your meal and someone is always walking around to refill your drinks so your glass is never empty. Food was great!
Half Pint rocks! Their food is amazing and their brunch drink deal is legendary. And they come around to refill your mimosas constantly so it's a great value!
The Half Pint was great in accommodating a party of 8 of us, getting our food out in a timely manner, and the mimosa tower was the highlight of our experience, along with Staphanie (SIC) the waitress who kept the drinks coming!
Hip spot with great vibe and service.
The pretzel was so good - the cheese dipping sauce was awesome!
Fun place for game day watching!! Outstanding service!
Great placed for large groups; NOT recommended if a quiet conversation is a goal! Great customer service provided
We were a group of 4 women (age 60+) visiting NYC for the US Open. The food, service, fun atmosphere, etc. was great. A bit loud for us older ladies who like to talk to each other. Overall a wonderful place.
Amazing food!! My table couldn't decide on what to get to eat because everything on the menu looked so good. The food was excellent and I would definitely go back there.
Wonderful atmosphere, old time rustic yet new era gastro pub feel with nice old brick walls and beautifully finished wood tables and seats. The beer options are great and they have exclusive beer options unique to their establishment. Service was wonderful, waiter Matthew had our drinks and food right away and was delightful, Reccomending both food, beer and special options. The food was great, me and my gf shared three appetizers, ordered two beers each and shared a beer flight to begin with and our bill was 60 dollars. Very reasonable prices for the city and quality. Their was outdoor seating but the atmosphere inside is nice and to good to pass up. I will be coming back and I'm from Brooklyn . It's an easy train right being a few blocks from the west 4th street station. Thank you half pint and I will be back soon!
Great drinks, fun atmosphere, really nice staff. Food wasn't great but I'd give it another chance.
Went for a family brunch and was blown away. Some awesome classic food choices and some great twists. I had the quinoa waffle with pickled onions and avocado... awesome! Oh...$20 endless mimosas for 90 minutes... a win!!!
Great weekend brunch spot with excellent service! Will definitely be back for bottomless mimosas
Had this reservation as a back-up for birthday brunch, and honestly so glad that we ended up going here instead. The towers of mimosas had an ideal champagne-to-OJ ratio and they kept them coming. Great location near Washington Square Park and the ambiance was rustic, intimate, but still lively enough to get a little rowdy.
I planned my birthday brunch at the Half Pint and I couldn't have had a better experience. They were super accommodating of our large group of 9. We never had to wait too long for drink refills and the mimosa tower was so fun and convenient! Food was delicious and the waitstaff was so sweet. Will definitely be going back!
Really great little spot. Great value and great food! Music is fantastic and the mimosa towers are fantastic.
Great bar food and bar ambience...
We were there before noon for Sunday brunch and had the whole place to ourselves. Friends said it's a later brunch crowd, and is always packed then. Had the brunch special Greek omelet, and was delicious, not too salty. Vodka & lemonade cocktails in mason jars were tasty, and the breakfast sausage was the best I've had in a long while - crispy, spiced skin.
We went for a 10am brunch right when they opened. We all did the bottomless brunch option. The service was great and the food was excellent.
The service was great. Reasonably priced and good food. Perfect neighborhood joint. Order the fish tacos and wings.
Great atmosphere, good food just a little too loud. Hard to hold a conversation with the music blasting. Otherwise has a great time and would definitely come back.
The sausage gravy and biscuit is amazing. Chill coffee house music with the brunch. $19 bottomless mimosas for 90 minutes!
A bit of a rowdy gathering spot near/on NYU environs. Excellent service and good food. Still able to read my book and not be distracted by youngsters nearby.
GREAT VILLAGE SPOT FOR YOUNG, YOUNG, YOUNG AND VIBRANT PEOPLE.
Loved the scene and the TV Sport Bar! Really enjoyed my experience here though I could hardly recommend it for my peers. We are a bit older. Was such fun to see young people.
Food was very nice but the beer selections were TERRIFIC! On second thought I would recommend Half Pint for the Great Beer!
