   Outstanding. The mixed grill was fantastic. The bison ravioli was delicious. The waiter was great. Very happy with the timing of dishes coming out. Highly reccomend. We didn't even cared what we paid!

   Food was good but not great. Elk Tenderloin and Bison were over cooked. Elk was gamey and tough. Have had Elk Tenderloin before that was tender and less gamey - this was not a good cut of elk. Bernaise sauce broken, red wine Demi glaze thin but huckleberry sauce was great. Expected more for $220 dinner for 2 people.

   Our waitress Katie was perfect! Simple there when needed ready when wanted but not overly. The atmosphere was very nice . It is friendly to all ages and sound maybe a little loud for some but overall great mix. The food was very nice. This was our second trip to this restaurant and we will be back.

   Quick and friendly greeting; seated timely. Service was timely and attentive, quickly fulfilling special requests. I ordered salmon (game doesn’t settle well with me), though my husband absolutely loved the bison prime rib. Focaccia bread was delicious. Decorations are their signature, and are tastefully displayed. I can see why my husband comes back every chance he gets!

    The Gun Barrel is my favorite Jackson Hole Restaurant. Western ambience meets bistro excellence in this high-ceiling, hunting lodge-cabin looking place. The food usually provides the best steak and game available. Malvin was a superior server, and the entree’ was made for perfection, but it had to be returned to the kitchen to be made medium rare instead of rare—an uncommon derivation.

    We always eat at the Gun Barrel when in Jackson. I’ve had their bison ribs every time! They are meaty, delicious and beat pork ribs! Service is good, and value is pretty good as well. Only reason to not give them 5 stars is that they are not at the very top tier of gourmet fare. But very good comfort food at a good value!

    Very country! I love the decor and all the animals in the restaurant. Very western feel. Love it. Food was good we had the bison and elk plate with Venison sausage and it was good as was the 3/4 pound burger. We were very stuffed after.

    Good news: The atmosphere is great! Old west/north woods combo. Service was very good. Bad news: Food was pricey and steak was o.k. - had the 16 oz ribeye (medium cooked) and it was too tough to warrant the $56. price tag. Plus, everything was extra, including bread for the table. Unfortunately, won’t be back.

    The food was fabulous! Husband chose bison prime rib. I had tenderloin with bearnaise. Both salads were delicious too. Summer and Caesar. The bread was to die for. The meats were perfectly cooked to.our specified temp. So tender and flavorful. A couple if Teton ambers brewed locally topped it off. Our waiter was exceptional.

    Good service,good wine and beer list,wide range of game meat and steaks. Entrees come with 1 side. I would give a higher rating except food was only warm when delivered. The waiter offered to take back and reheat but then that would overcook and I like meat medium rare.

    Everything was good just not sure a pork chop with a backed potato and salad, glass of wine was worth $60.00 dollars plus tip! Our server was outstanding for sure. The Restrant is gorgeous inside. Just the cost for what you get is tuff to except! And the glass of wine was a very small pore for sure!

    My son and I ate there on 5/17. What a great meal. The fried green tomatoes were awesome. Big Sky Ribeye was so good and a hearty portion. My son had the medallions and he loved them. Creme brulee dessert was delicious. It's not a big portion restaurant, but it is a quality restaurant with good service, amazing food, and cool ambience. Can't wait to take my wife here when we return to Jackson.

    I had the Bison Ravioli, and it was delicious! My wife ordered a K.C. Strip steak which she prefers cooked medium, with a pink center. Hers came out rare, and chewy. She’s not one to make a fuss, so she didn’t tell me until after she finished it. Everything in this tourist town is over-priced, but we expect that. I did however, expect a better effort on a a$40 steak.

    We loved it and will go back. I had salmon that was wood grilled and perfect my husband had the flight- beef bison and elk and he really enjoyed that as well. It’s pricey but worth it.

    As first time in Jackson, the reviews were great - even when telling a where we were dining, they said it is one place that truly has Elk and not a cheaper Red deer. Service was exceptional. Food well prepared and everyone enjoyed the experience. I would go back again if I return. Staff well worth the visit
