Delicious food. This is not just for beef lovers. The fish is delicious as well. Great summer salad and peach mango cobbler for dessert.

Prices are ridiculous! No bread even. Just meat and vegetable. Has always been my favorite place in Jackson - no more.

I decided we should try The Gun Barrel so my husband could get a good piece of elk and I could get a good piece of steak. The food was incredible--I loved my steak with bearnaise sauce and his elk was very good. For dessert, he got the creme brulee, which he liked, and I got the deep-dish apple pie. The apple pie was pretty good. I asked for a scoop of ice cream to go with it because it was warm and the ice cream was the perfect addition. Next time I would try the peach cobbler instead. Overall, we liked it a lot, but $200 was pretty pricey. We'll definitely return--although we'll have to do it again as a couple. If we brought our kids, it would be way too expensive!

From the moment we entered the staff were ready to meet and seat us. I brought my wife on road trip to Jackson Hole for her birthday and celebrated it with dinner here….. What a meal and Bonnie took great care of us!! THANK YOU!! Look forward to a return trip

Medallions were undercooked and mushy. Strip was over cooked, burnt on the outside and raw on the inside. We sent the strip back but the next one came out same way. Cuts of meat were not good, mostly fat. Apple pie was good though!

We had a reservation and arrived a little early and were seated promptly. We opted for the bar. Dinning room has a distinct western theme. We start with drinks. The Manhattan was great. Shared bison patio which was excellent. I had the elk loin and my wife had the bison prime rib. Both were also excellent. I would recommend medium, rare. Service was prompt and professional. We would return without a doubt.

We visit Jackson every year and try to fit The GunBarrel omin to our schedule every time. Wish they would bring back the Elk medallions.

Very good food and service. The Bison Prime Rib was awesome and it was fun to try something different than beef since this may be my only trip to Wyoming (we are from the east coast). Meal was a bit priciey, about $100/person with apps and drinks, but worth it and don’t think you can do better in Jackson Hole for food of this quality.

Absolutely delicious good atmosphere love the taxidermy animals all around you as you eat…had the Buffalo Prime rib - husband had 16 oz Ribeye… both cooked to perfection— Definitely a must stop if visiting Jackson, Wyoming.

I thought the decor and low light was nice and interesting, but the food was way over priced. The sirloin ($50+) was a terrible cut of beef (cooked medium). I couldn’t finish it because it was so full of gristle and sinew. The fat wasn’t rendered fully and was still a little cool in areas. My wife’s NY Strip was a better cut but no flavor.

My husband and I are vacationing from Michigan. We saw the restaurant on the way to our hotel and decided we needed to dine here. I was NOT disappointed. Bonnie, our server, was amazing. She was so friendly and kind. The French Onion soup was fantastic. The tenderloin with garlic mashed potatoes was so good. The topping was the warm apple pie with a butter cream sauce. I hope, if I’m ever out this way again, Gun Barrel will be thriving so I can dine here again. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

The restaurant was decorated very western and was interesting to look at but I did expect a little higher ambience to go along with the high price of food. I ordered the bison prime rib which was good but a little tougher than I like. My husband ordered the bison ribs and they were good with a large amount. It was nice to go to once but a little expensive.

Visited this restaurant a few years ago and went back for a birthday celebration. They don't appear to do anything special for birthdays. The server was good and competent but the meat (Bison Ribs and Elk loin) was served cold and looked unappetizing. Don't bother with the Bison Ribs. They are overly fatty and the BBQ sauce has too much ketchup in it and it is placed directly on the meat so you don't have any option for how much sauce you want. The Elk Loin was fine after they reheated it but still not greatly seasoned. The sides were good but we came for the game meat and they didn't deliver. There are so many other great restaurants in Jackson and many cheaper. Don't waste your experience and money here.

Great atmosphere and great food! However, don't skimp to save money. I got the Strip, which was good, but wish I had splurged for the filet as the strip, although very flavorful, was chewy and gristly. I could only chew about 3/4 of it. The rest went in the trash. So if you go, get the filet as I'm sure it would be better than the NY Strip.

The Parmesan Artichoke dip was fabulous. The best I’ve ever had. Service was great. Highly recommend if you want a nice night out. Pretty pricey, but well worth it,

Didn’t enjoy the experience. The main course arrived at our table while we were still eating our starter. The Prime Rib was quite tough and difficult to chew. Would not be in a hurry to go back there

Atmosphere, Service, and food were all quite exemplary. The Bison Short Rib doesn’t require much effort as the meat slides right off the bone and then melts in your mouth. Absolutely wonderful dining experience ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
