We absolutely love the guild house, the ambiance, food, service - all top notch! I had a custom made drink, gluten free dinner & we started at happy hour so we had 1/2 off our oysters which are DEVINE here!

I took my wife here for our wedding anniversary. Our server was awesome. I felt he was honest with his suggestions (this was our first time here) and he was also very attentive and friendly. To add to it, they gave us two glasses of champagne and a dessert for our occasion. The restaurant was nice. It wasn’t very crowded during our visit so it was very quiet (great for an anniversary dinner). I can see where it might get louder with more people given the size of the dining area. But again, we didn’t experience that during our visit. The food was so-so. My wife and I weren’t overly impressed with the taste of our appetizer and dinner. However our dessert was really good. I don’t know if I’d recommend visiting this establishment solely based on the taste of our food during the visit, but obviously everyone’s taste is different.

First, if time allows, start with happy hour, which includes half-off cocktails, wine, beer, and appetizers. Our dinner was quite enjoyable. Our server was knowledgeable about the menu and the wine list. The appetizers are large enough to share, which is nice whether you are at the bar or a table. Our fish entrées (halibut and sea bass) were nicely prepared. The side with the halibut was very overdressed with vinaigrette, so the taste of the individual ingredients was lost. The wine list has good variety.

The dumplings are amazing had them for two meals. The “zero proof” menu was sparse but both drinks were delicious and had great visual appeal. Hopefully, they will continue to expand the selection.

We went to The Guild House for dinner the day after our wedding. It was the perfect restaurant to celebrate our first meal out as a married couple. The food was exquisite and service was warm and friendly. Since we were celebrating a special occasion, they also treated us to glasses of prosecco and a dessert. We will certainly be back!

I think we're over it - We live in downtown Columbus and have now dined at Guild House about a half dozen times. We really enjoyed our first visit but seem to be disappointed by something ever since. For one, cocktail orders are always pretty slow - usually 15-20 minutes after your order. Last night we watched the bar relax (2 bartenders) while we waited for our drinks - just 2 bartenders chatting - no urgency to fill orders. Here's the real issue - it's a great spot for larger parties after office hours - nice and loud - energetic. Very cool for them but this is not a date night for me nor an opportunity for any celebration unless you have several people in your party - it will be loud. Oh, does a chocolate sundae really consist of 80% cake? (I'm probably being picky here, but it did teach me to read the menu more carefully).

The farm to take experience is nothing new. It's what you do with the food that counts. The Guild House has done an excellent job making great, fresh food with high food quality in a very nice setting. The wait staff was terrific, and the timing of the food was spot on. Keep up the excellent work. We'll be back!

Everything was a dream at The Guild House! My husband and I celebrated our anniversary here and we felt so welcome and celebrated. The manager personally came out with our dessert to thank us for choosing to celebrate with them! And not to mention, the food was absolutely phenomenal. Service (shout out to Logan!) was hospitable, timely, and extremely informative. Would certainly recommend and will definitely be going back!

We booked a table for brunch. Menu is a little limited and doesn’t give a full explanation of how the dish is prepared. The truffled eggs were recommended and were pretty good. Eggs are poached and heavy on the truffle. Portions are smaller than expected. Also had the strawberry and rhubarb salad which was excellent without the rhubarb. Service can be a bit slow. Food prices are high in regards to what’s being served in my opinion. They were out of a few items so didn’t get to try much more. Chef’s appear to take a lot of time to present the dishes well. I wasn’t really wowed by the overall experience, but good enough to give them another shot.

We had a great table and the ambience was perfect for a lovely time with my husband. Our waitress was very sweet but the kitchen was very slow...not sure why. The prices for lunch and brunch were reasonable.

The staff was wonderful, great food, menu and they were very accommodating toward food allergies. Love the urban industrial interior. We were staying in the hotel so it was easy for us to sign our bill directly to the hotel.

We had high hopes for this restaurant. They did do everything possible to correct the issues. The flavor profiles were excellent. We arrived and were sat immediately. We received our drinks and proceeded to order and things were going well. We received our appetizers and needed salt and pepper for the soup. We flagged down a server and asked for some because ours was no where to be found. She didn’t not check in with us after taking our order. The salt and pepper never made it and the soup became cold. The salad was wonderful but then a shard of plastic made its way into my mouth and I was completely turned off and could not have any other appetizer. I waved down another employee this time a manager and she took everything away and replaced the soup with a hot cup and brought the salt and pepper. She was very apologetic and helpful. We still did not hear or see our server. Then the main course came and the veal chops flavors were very nice however it was very dry. The fillet mignon was raw and had to be sent back to be cooked some more. We still did not see our server and had to wave down other workers passing by our table. I really loved the menu and flavors but we just had a series of unfortunate issues. At the end of the meal they comped the check which was extremely nice normally only the food with any issues is comped. They also asked that we try them again. I will give this restaurant another chance. I do like the flavors and hopefully we will have a better server next time.

Food was incredible. Appetizers were unique and very tasty. The main courses were spectacular. The filet was perfect. While we didn’t have much room for dessert we forged ahead and were glad we did for the s’mores. Ambiance was great and so were service. Highly recommend!
