The Guild House - Columbus
First time at The Guild House with colleagues and we were all very pleased with the evening. From the great service in this tastefully decorated space to the delicious food - appetizers, drinks, entrees and dessert. We started with drinks and an assortment of appetizers: Beets, Brussels sprouts and Cauliflower (largest appetizer of the bunch). All were good but the Beets are not to be missed. On the recommendation of our server, We had two different preparations of Sea Bass, one from hit menu and one of the daily specials, scallops and the soup of the day. Perfectly prepared and delicious. Topped off the meal with the Chocolate Peanut Butter dessert to share - very rich and highly recommended.
James is FANTASTIC...attention to detail, excellent listener, absolute commitment to customers’ experience!!
The food was very fresh with farm to table vegetable options. The music is a bit too loud and we asked them to turn it down a bit.
Great food and happy hour had drinks and menu items half off! Great spot before the jackets game.
Continue to enjoy the food, atmosphere, energy and location of The Guild House. The food selections and preparation and execution are always spot on. Go and enjoy this restaurant.
The Guild House seemed like a lovely place. However, our food was a disappointment. We were there for breakfast. The pancakes were very dense and dry. The eggs were not hot. I wouldn't order any of the food items again.
Would recommend. Wonderful experience. Dined here for our wedding anniversary.
Visiting son in college.
We enjoyed The Guild House's ahi ribbons and truffled eggs at brunch. The staff was welcoming and knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the farm-to-table menu. Our server gave great recommendations and accommodated our requests for fresh fruit. The dining area is bright and sunny - a nice mix of formal and casual. Very clean! Thank you.
Delicious farm-to-table in a beautiful location.
Great food and great waiter, Alex! Very nice restaurant!
We go to brunch here at least once a month. The service can be hit or miss, but the food is usually great. It just misses living up to a restaurant in a top hotel. Management seemed to pay attention to a "special table" but ignored visiting others.
Amazing brunch!!! The food was absolutely delicious!! Cannot wait for our next visit!
Food was excellent. Although short North prices are generally high. Service was excellent.
My daughter turned 17 and wanted to go to a “fancy” restaurant with vegetarian options. This was the perfect choice!
Dave the Manager is doing an amazing job! The cherry Sunday dessert is ridiculously good. And my steak was cooked perfectly.
Parents visit. Awsome place! Great service and food was so good!
We live right down the street, but it's been a while since we visited. I am glad we did. It was an amazing experience from the service to the food. Very nice touches and presentation.
Love coming here for a special meal. It’s my fave restaurant in Columbus. Cameron knows how to do it right.
Everyone has said how nice the Guild House is and it truly lived up to its reputation. Food was amazing, staff was very friendly, and it made our date very special.
Great food. Beautiful decor
Amazing as always! Excellent cocktails, delicious food.
Atmosphere, food, drinks, service....all were excellent. Have been there several times before and will happily return again.
Every bit of my experience was on point. Service from every person working was inviting and with a smile, the atmosphere warm and charming, and our food cannot be compared. Valet was backed up, perhaps due to the rain, so I had to park myself and walk in said rain, which wasn't far to the nearest garage. Aside from that minor hiccup, our evening was flawless and exquisite.
The quintessential Cameron Mitchell restaurant and a typical Columbus ‘fine dining’ restaurant. In other words, it is a casual restaurant pretending to be fancy in all elements except for the food, which is very good. Otherwise, the restaurant is incredibly noisy because of the thoughtless pop music blasting over the speakers. The intelligent table layout is stunted by outdated, suburban decor. The wine list is carbon copied from most popular steakhouses, heavy on California cabs, etc. Service is friendly and inconsistent. Worth a trip, nothing terribly special.
We took advantage of the Happy Hour timing and tried several different appetizers & drinks and we enjoyed everything very much.
Super romantic evening
This place never disappoints! Menu, service, ambiance, everything was perfect.
The Guild House is amazing every time I go! I was celebrating my birthday. Our service was very personable and did an excellent job. He even brought out sorbet (I have a dairy allergy) for my desert!
Brunch with family. Service was outstanding as was the food
One of my favorite restaurants! Always amazing. Took someone from NYC to guild house to compare it to the restaurants that he is use too and it was a hit! ❤️
Better filet than any other M Restaurant-- fantastic! Server (Sydney) was extremely pleasant and efficient. Atmosphere noisy in a fashionable way. The valet parking shared with neighboring business was a bit awkward to use and pay for.
After numerous attempts w/ dining @ The Guild House, this visit was a redeemer. And the saving grace was server, Joel. He is terrific, he listened and made smart recommendations for each diner. Continue to offer Weekend Happy Hour and continue to improve the energy w/in the restaurant. Many thx. KT
Alex (I’m pretty sure that was his name) was awesome.
First time to visit and Loved It! Our Server, James, was attentive and friendly! Definitely will return! Wonderful food choices and reasonable cost.
We absolutely love the Guild house. The food has incredible attention to detail and the flavors are delicious. The service (we were served by Joel and have been served by Josh in the past) is definitely curated to the individual experience. We always look forward to and greatly enjoy dining at Guild House!
Family in from out of town for Dinner and the Theater
First let me say that this continues to be one of my favorite go to locations in the Short North neighborhood. The food is delicious, creative and loaded with lots of fresh flavors. What makes the Guild House shine is its staff. Everyone you meet from the valet to the host wait staff and manager is giving it their all. I have dined here at least a dozen times and will keep coming back.
We had a big Birthday occasion celebration and The Guild is perfect for this. Great table location and a wonderful selection for brunch, excellent service. Everyone enjoyed the restaurant. Will be back.
