I was told that the Groove is a very nice place for brunch. I did not enjoy the food because it was cold. The warming trays did not keep the food warm enough. I spoke to my server, but he didn't say anything to the manager nor did he seemed interested.
The service was very good. Our server was excellent - attentive, engaging and extremely hospitable. The food did not meet my expectations. The fried chicken was over floured (or breaded), the bacon was extremely fatty and not cooked well, the waffles were dry and slightly warm,
The omelet was cooked to order and we enjoyed it! The grits and salmon were tasty, as well.
One of the comparable brunches in the areas charges $18.95 for their brunch. The food is delectable, service is great and the price is a good value. I paid $25.99 and I was displeased and to be honest - a little embarrassed because I was celebrating the birthday of one of my dear friends.
I do not think I will dine at The Grove any time soon.
Thanks for the opportunity to share this experience.
Sunday Brunch with my children home on thanksgiving break, everything was delicious and the staff was very courteous.
All was good but would have liked to see a bigger selection as we paid over 100 dollars (Me and wife)
Our dining experience has been pretty good every time we have visited The Grove. I was a little confused on seating as we were told that a preferred table was already reserved and no one showed up during our time there that Sunday. The Sunday brunch is nice but it could be better. Seems that they may do well to solicit buffet items from patrons on Sundays to see what other items could be added to the brunch menu. The young lady who prepares the waffles and omelets is great and very friendly. I would like to see a bit more enthusiasm or at least smiles from more of the servers as well. Overall, not a bad deal for brunch or dinner during the week when you do not feel up to cooking.
First class brunch!
Delicious food and excellent service! The Sunday brunch is great for a large group.
Nacy (bartender) was outstanding - extremely hospitable; she and chef went above and beyond to cater to our specific culinary requests. We were very appreciative and would definitely return and recommend The Grove.
The overall ambiance is beautiful and the restaurant is well maintained.
Thanks for a great Sunday brunch experience!

Excellent Sunday brunch! Great service. The price was very reasonable.
Service was great what a surprise it was Pasta night and it was yummy !
Very nice restaurant! I loved the food options and dining setting.
Food was pretty good for the brunch on Sunday although they did not have any scrambled eggs which was surprising. Although the omelets were good it would have been nice to get my fill of cooked eggs. The Grove opened at 10:30 and we waited around 20 minutes to begin eating. The fresh fruit and pastries could definitely use an upgrade.
The food was delicious! I had the crab dip for an appetizer and crab cake entree for dinner. The crab cake was delicious jumbo lump crab seasoned well. It wasn’t busy at all, in fact my friend and I were the only patrons, but the staff were busy supporting a private event so at times it did feel like we were forgotten. The staff apologized and gave us a discount so I can forgive and try again.
The Grove was an unexpected hidden gem for brunch! Great price, ample selection of items, and small crowd made for a great experience!
The good was great!! Everything was fresh. The chef came out & greeted us. The shrimp & grits were very good. The buffet had a wonderful display. We enjoy ourselves!
it was jazz night when we get tinder and we couldn’t hear the jazz singer because of the noise level of people talking so loud. I think the manager or maybe even the jazz singer should’ve said something about keeping voices down. It was very disruptive.
Overall was very good however the hostess wasn’t welcoming at all. Need to work on customer service skills.
Slow, slow wait service
Kitchen was very slow too
615 arrival food did not arrive until 745pm
Manager was not responsive, when ask to speak to him, 30 minutes to even come to table. Husband plays golf here, so will give it another shot.
The experience was very good. It was jazz night which the music was excellent.
Food was great.
I went for Sunday brunch and had to wait for at least 4 minutes to get a clean plate. They never replenished the sausage links. The chicken was dry and hard. Not. Impressed
Second time here and was upset the cut back on the food. They usually have a big table of deserts and this time they didn’t.
I could not get in . I did not have a entry code at the front gate . Please send me another invitation for your next fish fry .

Arrive before peak times for best service. I went for brunch. The food was good and the service staff were personable. The cost of the brunch was reasonable considering that it was a buffet. There was decent (not large) selection of food that was all well prepared.
I had such high hopes for this place and was so excited until I got to the buffet table. The menu that was promised was not what was put on the table and I mean table as singular lol. I watched one guy replace the so called shrimp and grits....he place the top cover of the container on the floor took the older container out and then picked up the top of the container and placed it back on the new container WOW!......chicken was drained out and the waffles was cut into fours and they gave one triangle out at a time lol. I will never pay for this anything like this again. I would rather go to the Golden Corral it's much cheaper and food is better.
The ambiance was great, location and scernery great
Very good service and food was good. We wil be returning to this hidden treasure!
A sweet spot tucked away in a upscale community. Follow the travel directions immediately. Great food and staff. We will definitely be back!!!!
The fish fry was fair. The sides were fair. The Mac n cheese had an onion taste probably because they used the same knife as they did for cutting onions. I had a reservation for 645 and had to wait to be seated. I saw my name was crossed off list before I arrived. I probably will not go back. Also, they rounded off your bill trying to keep change. Beware check your bill for correct change back. Poor Service.
The food & price for the fish fry was very good. However, I didn't particularly like the idea of waiting for the fish every time. The fish was fresh and hot each time it was brought out. If there's another fish-fry, though, I would definitely make reservations again.
I had reservations on 4/26 and was put on a waiting list because I arrived after 5 minutes of my reservation time. I called the establishment prior to my reservation time and asked if I was running late did I need to let someone know and the gentlemen that I spoke to told me no. So, when I got there I was completely shocked when the rude hostess told me that she would be putting me on a wait list. I told her that I had called earlier about me running late and the hostess told me that I didn't. At this point, I was done with the establishment, told the hostess I was never coming back and walked out. So, I sat in the parking lot fuming mad. I called into the establishment and spoke to a gentlemen who I guess was the manager since he never identified himself and told him what happened. He pretty much didnt care and said that he could fit me in at a later time which was an hour from my original reservation. I told him nowhere on the online reservation did it state that if I wasnt there after 5 mins of my reservation that I would be put on a wait list. Most establishments allow 15 mins. Anyway, I told the "manager" that I would not be coming back and would tell others not to go either. He then said that he needed to get back to the kitchen. What??? I have never been to this establishment and definitely will never go!!
I had to rate this place so that my comments would get posted eventhough I did not eat there.
My husband and I invited a friend that lives on the property to be our guest at the advertised Fish Fry Buffet , and let me tell you in all of our years of dining this was our very first experience of a Non-Buffet Buffet. Let me explain my coined phrase, the sides were put out to serve one's self, but the main course of the different types of fish offering (Salmon, Catfish, Tilapia, and Whiting) were doled out by order (one piece, one sliver) at a time, the catfish were served nugget style, and the salmon was served finger length and width. A JOKE!!!! To make matters worst You could only order one type of the fish at a time. What an experience!
We were in the area visiting family and thought this looked like a good place for Sunday brunch. We made a reservation for a Sunday afternoon at 2PM as it was indicated that it could be busy during this time. Upon arriving, there was no host at the front desk and after a couple minute wait we were greeted by our host who informed us our table was not ready yet. Understandable if they were busy but the dining area was only about 1/4 full. After another short wait, we were shown to our table by our host who promptly walked away as soon as we were seated without presenting us with a menu or any other information. We sat for about 10 minutes waiting for help and watched the wait staff avoid eye contact with us as they walked by multiple times. At that point we decided our business was not that important to them and left.
The food could have been quicker, but it could have been because of the party of 25 next to us.
Good food. Limited variety. Nice business meeting place.
Looking forward to the next First Friday event.
Our family attended Easter Brunch at the Grove. We were seated right away with our reservation. There was a variety of options to include omelets, waffles, smoked turkey and lamb chops. I only wish they would make authentic shrimp and grits. Overall it was great choice for Easter brunch and the ambiance was excellent and it was a joyous occasion.
Seafood Night. It was supposed to be a seafood buffet. When we arrived there were 2 cards marked crab clusters at each seat. When we asked the server we were told we each were only able to receive 2 clusters. Now a buffet normally means all you can eat and it wasn't advertised that the crab legs were limited. Also several advertised items were missing from the menu. Food was not freshly prepared. Most tasted box frozen. Buffet was from 6-9 & jambalaya didn't come out until 8:21. The restaurant was unwilling to compensate us, in any form. We never had our 2 crab clusters & were told to write a complaint on the comment cards. Every table had the same complaints , no manager on staff to address concerns with, we were told "he has and family & is off" . At 8:30 they finally put the crab legs on the buffet.
First and last time, we WILL NEVER return. Bad food and management staff.
Unfortunately, there was nothing special about this brunch. The food was on steam tables, but the serving staff did not replenish it until it was absolutely down to crumbs. The macaroni and cheese was good, but I waited quite some time to get a refill because only the crusty part was left. It just appeared that they were waiting to try to stretch the food that they had in the back.
My wife wanted turkey options instead of pork, but they only had pork bacon and pork sausage.
For the price, I just didn't think you felt as if you got your money's worth.
As I walked into the grove there was a young man named Nick and he was the hostess. This young man was VERY pleasant and checked up on our table several times to make sure we were ok, as apparently our server had become sick. He was very knowledgeable about the food items and even made a few good recommendations. We were surprised when he told us he had just recently starting working there. Great job Grove on hiring such an attentive and intelligent young black male.
This was by far the worst Sunday Brunch venue that I have dined. I didn't encounter this awful experience at a First Fridays event. Buffet food and hot drink supply wasn't frequently checked and replenished. At one point no plates were on the buffet line for way too long. They even ran out of orange juice. Only one server at omelet station to serve a large number of patrons. Omelet ordering system needs revamping. Clearly, exceptional customer service is not a top priority. Waiting to see the sign Under New/Better Management posted.
