Good food, wine list was one of the best in Wellington, server was sweet. All around good meal.
Too dark in the restaurant
This is our second visit and, while the place always has promise, the quality disappointed again overall. We were the only table in the restaurant for brunch when we arrived. They made mistakes on all 4 orders that required at least 1 trip back per meal. The french toast was cold and soft. The omelette was decent. For the price we can do much better in the Wellington area and do not plan to give them a third try. They also never properly checked us in for our reservation and I got a note that the reservation was cancelled. I inquired about why and they never replied to me. Too bad, really, but it seems that enough of the seasonal equestrian crowd puts up with it so all the best to them.
the food was better than I have had there before, the service however was very slow and haphazard. Several customers were becoming agitated by the lack of speed and efficiency. There weren't many people in (around 20 - 30) and only two wait staff.
Very disappointing with a 20 minute wait to take the drink order. Then a very long wait for the order to be taken, and for the food to be delivered. I ordered scallops, they were served after the rest of the table. burnt on one side, undercooked on the other side. After being sent back and a new order received, the new order was just passable. I ordered a vegetable which never came, and we were overcharged for the scallops. The outdoor patio was teeming with mosquitoes, even with using my own bug spray I must have had 5-6 whalloping angry bites. Anyone think about bug control over there?
Sorry about this awful review but the management needs to be more aware of good customer service and control of insects.
Not willing to admit mistakes. Had to find the manager twice to fix an issue. Took 2.5 hours to not even eat because the food came out incorrect and late. Took 45 min to pay bill. What food we did eat was good but after waiting 30 min for the correct meal to come out after everyone else’s meal it wasn’t worth it anymore
Would have been a better experience if we had not been deceived into purchasing water. We did not have any problem paying for it, but the waiters up selling approach was distasteful and took advantage of the customer. He asked if we would like sparkling or flat, to which we replied flat. No other tables had bottled flat, and we were not asked a follow up of bottled or tap. Poor deception taking advantage of the customers, will not be returning.
Amazing place We went for Sunday Brunch! Good price great value for $$ Highly recommended!!!
I was looking forward to a date with my wife. Out the gate they gave me a table for two that wobble/rocked b/c the floor wasn’t leveled. I told the waiter and he shrugged his shoulder and said “yeah, that couple over there had to move b/c of it” Not wanting to get into it with this idiot I let it go and deal with it. —this shouldn’t be at pricey joints. The entrees are $25 minimum. I was glad we had $12 appetizers b/c the entrees don’t have enough food on them to fill you up. You will walk away hungry—I’m only 5’7, not a big guy by any stretch. The ambience was good/nice. It attracts good looking upper-middle class working families in Wellington.— there’s easy access to the restaurant as this isn’t a heavily trafficked area. If you make a reservation asks for non wobbly tables; also away from the TV’s/bar if you’re looking to keep down background noice and enjoy the conversation over a well prepared savory meal.
Seated on time
Ordered wine but out of stock offered an alternate
Brussel spouts Caesar salad was excellent
Salmon coked as ordered
First time visitors. We had extremely friendly and pleasant waitress, food came out fast and was very good. We definitely planning to be back
Great find! Great food!
Service was slow as our waitress disappeared for 15 minutes while we were waiting to order. After we ordered it took 40 minutes to get our food. 2 of our entrees we’re fine but 2 more were not hot.
A little gem in a strip center with outdoor seating that was blocked from parking area.
The Ahi-tuna salad was one of the best that I have had.
The food was amazing and our server - Prince - was attentive and super friendly
Great food and service. Our server named Prince was wonderful. Love the menu
The food and service were great. The ambiance of the bar and restaurant was warm and relaxing
Nice atmosphere, very good service. Prices too high for most of the items on the menu. Food was pretty good overall but not worth the prices.
Ordered 4 meals only two came out correct 30 mins after ordering.
Excellent food, friendly staff and superb management.
The service and food was great.
Solid wellington open table option jambalaya was tasty as was the burrata salad
Food was not good. Risotto was no fresh... the server was very nice..
The meat in the "Dip " (French Dip) was too well done & dry.
I don't know why the restaurant would have only one server working handing all tables and being a bartender as well. Because of this fact service was very slow for all of the 7 tables and 6 individuals sitting at the bar. As such our filets were overcooked as they sat while the server handled a table of 7 people. This is not the fault of the server, but the management. Service is an important part of the restaurant business and should not be overlooked. Now I remember why we stopped coming to this restaurant.
The server was nice, but we were missing a number of items we ordered and he was not readily available to help, maybe too many other tables. We were over charged on our bill, a $16 item was charged at $17 and we didn't receive everything but were still charged. Over all a frustrating experience. A few of the dishes were quite good, but the others fell below expectations. Would not return or recommend.
We thought the food would be special and it just wasn't. There were flies when the food came and they didn't go away. It was okay but we won't go back. Sorry.
As a first timer my party was very impressed with this place. Food was delicious. Service was great. Loved the ambiance too!
Only comment was that Open Table sent me a no show notice the next day. Not sure why as we honored our reservation. I sent an email to Open Table but never received a reply.
Very poor service reservation made stating was a special occasion received worst seat in house. Due to graduation party next to us seat was bumped continually and noice level was through the roof. Asked to be moved server first stated no even though there were tables available. Was finally moved to patio even though it was a very warm evening. Again, worst seat on patio. Food was fair but only ordered pizza as we did not want to sit through a full dinner. Waiter did not return had to flag someone down to get check. Will not go back.
Disappointing .Place was empty yet had to wait .Food lacked taste and waiter was content to hang out at bar though looked like he doubled as bartender .Will probably give 1 more chance
Food was delicious. The menu was eclectic. Our waitress didn't rush us, was friendly. We sat outside. The tables are under a covered patio with plenty of foliage, so you didn't even see the parking lot. Inside was pretty with tables and also comfy couches with tables. Would definitely return.
The food was great! And service even better, wish it was located in my neighborhood.
Meal was excellent, great waiters
There are a lot of good choices in a few mile radius. Although the service was very good and the food was pretty good, I would likely choose somewhere else to go.
Nice place to go with friends! Great service and good food! Always have a good time there!
Food was marginal - service was poor. We usually go to Oli's and The Sea Horse, (same restaurant group), but figured we would try The Grille - what a mistake! Looks okay for a drink but don't expect good food or service at The Grille.
The best French dip sandwich ever!! Homemade gelato fabulous. Our server was attentive and friendly.
It just took a really long time to get our food. That affected our feeling about the restaurant. Also, the air conditioning was really cold inside the restaurant, and the outdoor area was full.
Went on Valentines day. Way too many tables to not be a fire hazard. My shrimp were overcooked got a new dish and the rest of the meal tasted very bland. The staff was very attentative and the manager was sincere but the chefs because of the demand were off.
Really hot spot. Good food. Great vibe. Great service. Fun spot.
