We were pleasantly surprised!! Had a great dinner and service. Would highly recommend.
I came here to surprise my boyfriend with a nice dinner for his birthday. I was disappointed with our experience. Our first impression of the restaurant was the front desk staff who seemed less than thrilled that we were there, no greeting, no talking at all actually....Our waitress was very friendly which was a plus, but she seemed a bit overwhelmed and so was not around to check on us as often. The food was ok, my steak was tough and a bit over cooked and our meals got messed up and the sides were wrong coming out of the kitchen. The restaurant was extremely loud which made it hard to have conversation at dinner. Overall for the price of the food and the experience we had I would not recommend going to this establishment for any kind of intimate special occasion or special date. Disappointed as I have heard great things about it.
Very limited menu. No dinner specials. Excellent service.
The service was great and I loved the look of the place. Unfortunately there were two very loud parties there. I felt I had to shout to be heard by the people I was with. I was displeased with the food and even more so by the cost. I have rated there before and loved it. This time the Surf and Turf was bland and I was given 2 shrimp. It was barely enough to get a taste of it. I regret the decision. The last time I went I got a steak with a crab mixture on top. That was fantastic. It looked like the menu had been changed. I was disappointed. For $30+ I expected an above-average meal.
We always love the food. Really great appetizers and sandwiches. I wish the sushi was still on the menu. Disappointed it was taken off because it was really good!
Waited for a table over 20 minutes that had been free the entire time we were sitting there (along with 6 other tables that were empty)
Brunch buffet was way overpriced for the quality and selection of food available.
I do not plan to return.
Easter Sunday buffet/brunch was excellent. The food was tasty and we were not rushed. It took a short time before our waitress came to our table, but then she was very attentive. The only item that was not available was mint jelly for the roasted lamb. Everything else was well presented and enjoyable.
The Easter brunch far exceeded our expectations (which were high to begin with). Amazing selection of both breakfast and lunch/dinner food. Great dessert spread, including a chocolate fountain. They should really advertise the brunch a little more/with more pictures. We wish we would have known about the selection and quality sooner. The brunch description on their website doesn’t do it justice. A better selection and better price point than Folino Estate, which we went to last year. We will be back!
Overall the experience was outstanding. The only issues that I had was with some of the service. Our cocktails were delivered after our salad had come. My daughter requested a substitution that the kitchen missed. They sent out additional food to cover it.
My wife's prime rib was almost perfect. Large cut. Asked for med to rare and it arrived that way. Juicy and tender. Vegetable and potato were also done as expected, Rate Excellent
I had the surf and turf. I asked for my steak to be rare slightly toward med. The steak was overdone and very dry. I ended up using the juice from my wife's prime rib for dipping. Vegetable and potatoes were fine. Rate: only fair slight disappointment
We have been to Bear Creek several times in the past.
Dinner was excellent. Very good service. We had apps and split an entrée and they split it for us in the back which was great.
Very good service. Friendly staff. Good value.
Usually a favorite but last few times there staff has been extremely rude and inattentive. Very disappointed because food is delicious
This was our third time at the Grille. We enjoy going to the Spa and then stay for dinner. We were going to ask for a better table but then decided not to. We were at a table towards the middle with no view., even though we made a reservation- and there were several empty tables scattered around. The window tables are scenic and make for a more special experience.
The calamari was soggy this time, but the rest of our food was excellent and flavorful. The service was great!
Bar area very loud and crowd was a mix of skiers, children, and wedding guests. Not necessarily a negative, considering this is a ski resort, and beautiful wedding venue! Just very loud. If we went back, we would definitely request a table by the windows and not go during ski season.
I took my new fiancé here to celebrate our engagement that happened about twelve hours before dinner. The food was great and so was the service. The noise level was a bit high but I still can’t complain
This was our first time staying at Bear Creek Resort. We loved getting a little dressed up and heading to a fantastic, romantic dinner at the Grille without even having to leave the resort after a day of skiing. Absolutely beautiful atmosphere and delicious food. Our server was wonderful. We will be back, and we’ll recommend Bear Creek and the Grille to anyone who gives us the chance!
Nice quality and value for meal, good wine and beer selection, friendly service, quiet (midweek dinner). We all enjoyed the fresh and well-prepared food and the cozy atmosphere.
Beautiful setting; excellent service. Terrific food
We have been there several times and we love the view and the food.
Good food though seats with a view are difficult to come by, even if you make reservations, if you have a party over 4.
Server struggled to recommend meals, she seemed overbooked. Food came out cold, steak was sent back because my 11-year-old can’t eat rare meat. I would not recommend this place again, unless service and meal choices change .
Hard to find parking for dinner during the ski season. Love it in the off season
Overall an amazing place to have dinner, the service was first class and the extremely helpful manager even brought out our food. I would recommend eating here the first chance you get!
Food was average, service was excellent. Restaurant was too cold.
Restaurant is located in the Bear Creek resort and is a nice looking venue. You can dress up or down as many guests are there to ski. They live music when we were there which was nice and our server was great. Food was above average and priced as you might expect to find inside of a resort. We'd go again!
We have dinned here on a few different occasions and always enjoy, the food and scenery are always the best. This evening was no different. We started with the Baltimore Roll and the Fiji Roll which were excellent. We finished with the BBQ Ribs and the cabbage salad which is a favorite of ours. We opted not to do dessert.
We always have a very enjoyable time here and with the backdrop of the Ski Slopes and the Lifts and the Huge fireplace which we sat by made for a perfect romantic evening.
We will return for many more enjoyable dinners.
Such a cozy dining experience with excellent food and service!
Dined here after a day of skiing on my husband's birthday. Love the atmosphere and food was delicious.
Christmas dinner, wonderful
Everything was great. The portions are a little small for what you're spending. But overall, the food and ambiance are great.
My husband and I had dinner at Bear Creek for Christmas Eve and it was the perfect holiday romantic date. We started off with drinks by the fireplace in the bar area and were seated by the window to watch the skiers as we ate dined. The food was delicious too!
We went there for Christmas Eve dinner. The view of the slopes added a great feel. Food was great and service superb on a very busy night.
We came to Bear Creek to celebrate my husband's 32nd birthday. Lodge was amazing, cozy, and it just so happened to snow the day we got there. The restaurant was everything we hoped for - great drink selection, fantastic food, nice atmosphere. We will definitely be back and hope to bring a few friends next time.
I was not happy with my meal. There was no flavor or taste to it. I ordered the fettuccine with scallops and instead of mussels, I asked to have shrimp instead with a white wine butter sauce. When it came out, it was cold, and there was just no real taste to it. I was quite dis-appointed in it. My friends had the appetizer of crab dip, and they didn’t care for or understand the bread crumb topping. We will probably only come back for sandwiches or burgers from now on.
Excellent dining experience. The food and service were amazing. Looking forward to our next visit
Hostess never smiled, took quite some time for a server to serve us... 3 of them just walked past us... and it was us and 3 other tables in the whole restaraunt... but the food was good and the dessert was awesome.
Our waiter was nice but just kept forgetting our drinks and food! People that came in after us got waited on first. Food was just ok. Not a lot of flavor. The view was nice!
Disappointed! Menu changed. Food not tasty. Been there many times and always happy, but not this time! Sad!
Great Thanksgiving dinner...I would highly recommend. Awesome and great variety of food
This was our second time for the Prime Rib dinner, food was awesome!
