OMG!!! We Love this place. Great staff. The food has always been amazing no matter what we ordered. When were we are in New Orleans it always on todo list. Thanks to everyone who works hard to make this a experience to remember.
Wonderful. Nuff said
Lovely place for lunch, and the plate lunch is a great deal!
Jason and Ms Helen made this a very enjoyable treat! The Windsor is always a good idea!
Fabulous food, wonderful service, terrific setting. Was in town for some meetings and we went here to celebrate our anniversary. So glad we did. Absolutely loved the pace!
I rated the food a 4 because they didn't use basil for the tomato basil soup and the caprese salad. All else was very good!
Thank you so much for making my friend’s birthday so special. Everyone who attended us was friendly and made our celebration so special. Thank you!!
Everything was amazing. Great service, delicious food, and a beautiful place. I highly recommend. We even had our 5 and 7 year olds with us.
It's been 20 years since I've been to this restaurant. I'm a native, but don't live in town anymore. There are SO many great places that have opened since then, I had neglected the Grill Room. Elegant, masculine decor in the Windsor Court style? Check. Friendly, but cool reception at the entrance? Check. The menu has changed quite drastically, but that was to be expected and perhaps welcomed. You basically have a limited choice of appetizers and entrees for a reasonable fixed price. You can add some "luxe" items at an uncharge. They've also added a wines by the glass option using Coravin, a closed dispensing system to render a glass at a time from premium bottles. Ah, a 2010 Brunello! Wonderful. It took a few minutes for the waiter to get to me, but I ordered a glass. At $50+ a glass, this is not an everyday option, but what the heck? The waiter returns after a very long 15 minutes. He starts the process of infiltrating the bottle tableside when I notice the vintage on the bottle. 2012. I inquire, since 2010 was a great year for Brunello, 2012 not so much. He seems a bit thrown, apologizes, and says he'll go search. After another 5 minutes, he returns and says they don't have the 2010. Alright then, no big deal -- mistakes happen (though from the fact that wine had already been dispensed from the bottle, some previous patrons had obviously been unaware they were paying an ultra-premium price for the wrong vintage). I then chose a 2013 Shafer from the same Coravin list. 2013 was an excellent vintage. 10 minutes go by. The waiter returns. He shows me the bottle triumphantly. 2015. Wrong vintage again, I say. He looks perplexed; he hadn't even checked it. So, it's been 40 minutes and no one has taken my food order and I have no wine. I have to ask for bread. Short story: there was no compensation made for the wine debacle (I just accepted the 2015), the food that followed was average at best, and the Grill Room may have to wait 20 more years for me to return.
Excellent brunch. Relaxing, quiet and a nice touch with the jazz playing in the background. Look forward to returning on our next trip to New Orleans.
Enjoyed breakfast but stayed too long and had to pay $12.00 plus tip for parkingxxxxxxx
I selected the Windsor Hotel for our dining experience off of the web. We were staying at the Le Meridian. I chose the Grill room from the menu selections and the reviews. When we walked in,
what a wonderful surprise. The hotel is beautiful. The murals added so much to the decor, and the furnishings were just elegant. The patio room, where we ate, had such a lovely view. The waiter was most gracious. The food presentation was a feast for the eyes, and the quality of the food was a delight to the palette. I wish that our stay had been more than the one night. We would have loved to have returned for brunch, lunch, and dinner. Thanks for a most memorable experience.
Awesome experience! Diedre was delightful! Food was excellent! Ambience was outstanding!
As always, the Grill Room did not disappoint. The service is exceptional, as is the food. We ate there twice during our stay at the hotel, which says a lot when you are in such a great foodie town.
The service was below standards. We could not find our waiter. I served water to my table.
The food was well priced except the gumbo was too spicy, and the side dishes were not anything I would recommend to friends. On the other hand, the Tuna was sensational.
Nevertheless, I left a 20% tip. I was not there to hurt anyone. I was at The Grill to celebrate my friend's birthday, not with you to be unpleasant.
Thank you for asking.
We had a lovely and delicious meal at The Grill Room at The Windsor Court Hotel. The sommelier was particularly helpful and friendly.

Fabulous food, fabulous service, fabulous night!!!
We were a party of 9 celebrating a college graduation. The food was delicious, the service was impeccable, and the atmosphere was magical.
Pre Mother's day lunch. Loved it!!! Nice 2 top table 1 row off the window overlooking the driveway courtyard. Mom loved everything except the gumbo.. She likes her own better. LOL!! Everything else was above her expectations. She will be back with friends and so will I. Go for lunch Monday thru Friday, one of the best deals in town. Get the chicken marsala you won't regret it.
All 4 of us had the lunch + three. Each had a different combination of sides &/or entrees and every plate was a visual and scrumptious delight. A virtual continental bento box presented on an elegant plate. We, all, will be back with friends in tow.
Early Mother’s Day lunch.
Great concept even better food. One of the best meals I ever had.
2nd floor dining room overlooks the courtyard, or inside is a little more formal. Menu is small plate tasting format. We had the mushrooms and cauliflower, scallops, shrimp, crabcakes, and Wagyu filet. Wine list was very extensive. Each course was brought out seperately with enough time between servings to appreciate the presentation. Food was excellent and service very good, informed, and professional. Thank you Ross. Our favorite of the week and highly recommended.
Excellent as usual. Elegant dining in a reasonably priced top quality restaurant. Great atmosphere and healthy food.
We stayed at the Windsor Court Hotel in April 2018 for three nights. We loved our room and found the staff at the the hotel to be very helpful and attentive. We had breakfast every morning in the Grill Room and two dinners in the evening during our stay. The food for both breakfast and dinner was creative and delicious. I would highly recommend it to others.
Had a Saturday brunch at the Grill Room on a stormy Saturday during the FQ Fest rain out. It was an excellent meal!!! My only complaint, if a complaint at all, is the portion size. They serve HUGE meals!!! Go hungry and plan to share!!
We had the flatbread, veggie egg white omelet, strawberry cream stuffed beignets, smoked Gouda grits, sausage, hash browns, eggs and more!! Too much food for four people. We all tasted off of each other’s plates. We didn’t care for the side dish hash browns but otherwise, it was a wonderful brunch. Loved it and will definitely return when in NOLA but will order less food next time. Yum!!! Just thinking of it stays on my mind. That’s a good meal.
By the way, we spent an hour after brunch in the bar to wait out the rain. Nice low keyed bar with live jazz. Nice lazy Saturday.
The atmosphere, food and service were outstanding.
The food was amazing and at $19.84, the price was as well! Service was a little slow and we were disappointed that we couldn't get a window seat, as this was a birthday celebration. (We did indicate such on the reservation.) I can't wait to go back, though this time I will specifically request a view.
I usually love my Grill Room lunches, but today, everything was off. The martinis which are normally my favorite in all of New Orleans, were very ordinary today. They usually have a very unique olive brine that they use that gives a little sweetness to the brine and the olive, and the martini as well which is just lovely! Today they tasted like just any old off the shelf olive brine was used. The gumbo was bordering on burnt roux and had very little meat in it, really next to none. They had a crawfish pasta which had a great flavor, but very little crawfish. I'll go back, but I hope they bring back the regular olive brine and give a little more meat in the entrees.
Wonderful restaurant and business dinner. Always love the Windsor Court Grill Room and it’s location. The only concern I have is the fruit flies that seem to have been a problem during this visit and the last two lunches I’ve had there. Delicious food and value but having to shoo away flies during lunch is not fun. Hope it gets better because usually this is the best lunch in town.
Great dinner, service wonderful and would recommend it especially if staying at the Windsor Court Hotel. Very convenient and love the atmosphere.
Much, much better than expected. The Grill Room had gone down for a while, but we had no complaints about this meal. Super tender beef, large, perfectly cooked shrimp, and a wide selection of well-prepared vegetables. And great martinis!
Don’t miss out on this fantastic restaurant! A pleasant surprise in this beautiful boutique hotel.
Great service and food.
This place is fancy and expensive AF but I knew what we were getting into... 2 glasses of wine was $32. I was shook girl
Amazing food and atmosphere
Service was great and the price is affordable f
We love the $19.84 "meat and 3" lunch special along with the $2 martinis! The food is delicious, the presentation is unique and the atmosphere provides for a nice spot to meet friends and catch up.
Very disappointing. This use to be a wonder place but has not progressed. We had way to many mistakes and “out of” too many menu offerings! The food was not up to NOLA standards that we all have come to expect here in a foodie city!
