Anthony makes a great tomato soup table side. Everything is outstanding!

Our 4th visit over 4 years. Great steaks, with many choices. We've had the Pemberton dry-aged boneless ribeye in the past, this year had the Canadian waygu striploin. Both are sold based on price per ounce. Not inexpensive, but done perfectly, as were the asparagus and carrots. (They do offer less expensive steaks as well.) My wife had the sablefish, which while very good, got lost in the volume of food and intense meat flavor of the steak. The space is elegant, yet informal (after all, it's a ski mountain), and the waitstaff were friendly and professional.
I would like to see a larger choice of wines by the glass, although this might necessitate a noble gas storage system.

The welcome, the food, the service and the experience was everything we wanted and so much more.

Steak overcooked. Switched the wines on us, and Brussel sprouts were soupy. Expected better, top notch, for a destination like The Grill.

The restaurant was very pricey but we enjoyed our dinner very much. Definitely a good place for a special meal. Our wait staff were awesome.

Far better to bring your own and pay their corkage fee. Overall great experience. Just a heads up on the wine.

Great! Perfect for a Valentine’s Day double date.

Had a lovely meal for Valentine’s Day. The server was exceptional, our food delicious, and the atmosphere refined enough to allow for quiet conversation but relaxed enough to be comfortable. The menu leans on the traditional side, but there’s plenty of variety, and the execution is solid.

We loved the atmosphere and the service was incredible . Both our meals were amazing- husband had duck and I had cedar plank salmon with baby carrots and risotto as sides. Top notch!

Clearly a price tag to match but it is still good value in my opinion.
Wine list offers good wine at reasonable prices so you don’t feel that you have to buy an expensive bottle.

My husband And I were on a ski vacation at Whistler and enjoyed dinner at The Grill Room. It was truly one of the best meals we had during our stay. The carrot marrow and red deer are outstanding! You will not be disappointed. The service was also impeccable.

Anniversary!

We were really excited to be dining at The Grill Room and the welcome at the check-in, the food and the service was exemplary. It is a very special place and we so value the exceptional experience that The Grill gave us.

Our server, Alise (?) was very nice, warm, friendly and knowledgeable. Our food was delicious (we both had steak, asparagus and a cheesy potatoe dish. We were exhausted from a full day of skiing so this was a perfect end to a beautiful day.

This was easy one of the top 10 best meals we've ever had in all of our travels. Katie our server was intuitive, friendly and all round outstanding. Every Associate we came into contact with was polite and welcoming. Would absolutely recommend The Grill room to anyone. A must visit experience when in Whistler.

In the last two decades visiting Whistler, we were surprised that we overlooked this gem until recently. Awesome food, attentive staff, and wonderful ambience, this has it all. Honestly, the best restaurant in the area!

Steak was amazing but the desserts were terrible! Especially the sticky toffee pudding which was super dry. The carrots were undercooked, perhaps it’s their way of serving the dish but it was weird.

An amazing restaurant with a fabulous menu and great service! Ended our evening with complimentary cotton candy... what a treat! We will definitely be returning.

My husband and I traveled to Whistler for a day just so he could snowboard! We didn’t know how much fun the experience would be for just one day but finishing out the night at this restaurant was a highlight for us. Our waitress gave us impeccable advice on picking the best wine for our meal as well as giving a back story on the wine that was picked. The staff were kind and lovely. We had an amazing time at the Fairmont and loved this restaurant. BTW, the lobster Mac and Cheese was probably THE BEST we both have ever had. We are foodies and truly this was AMAZING.

It was my 60th Birthday and I was not disappointed! The perfect table for two in front of the fireplace, the ambiance, the service(Paul was amazing). The food was exceptional! We will definitely return when in whistler.

Everything about it was excellent. The ambience was warm and inviting with wine bottles artfully lit and roaring fireplace near the table.
The menu was wide ranging and offered more than steak and potatoes as some fine dining places do. Everything from tomato Gin soup prepared at the table, to venison, to house made bread. All the dishes were thoughtful and elevated.
Finally I have to say the staff were some of the best I’ve ever experienced. Attentive but not hovering. Knowledgeable, but know when to fade away. Fun and interesting. It was like being part of a loving family.
One of the finest, most engaging dining experiences of my life.
