   I swear, this was the best dining experience I have had in my life. Food was perfect, service was incredible (love Dan), and the ambiance was beautiful. Drinks were incredible as well. Will be back soon. Highly recommend this place for everyone and anyone!

   What a delightful evening at the Grill on the Alley! The Chilean Seabass and Wedge Salad were absolutely exquisite! Thanks to the wait staff and super friendly hosts every need was covered. Splendid. Bravo!

    We have fantastic experiences most visits to this restaurant and hold it in such high regard. So when it falls short it stands out. We had a few issues last night. One was that the server did not relay our orders to the kitchen efficiently and we had to send back items. Specifically. we had ordered a wedge salad with thousand island dressing and it came with blue cheese and we had verbally insisted on no blue cheese when ordering. The waiter offered a free dessert at that time to make up for the mistake. When our meal was over he did not remember to bring us the free dessert. Second was that there was a john dory order which came not looking at all like the other two john dorys which were ordered and made us wonder if that piece of fish was even actually john dory. We have ordered that fish dozens of times and it always has a flatish appearance. This one order was quite a bit thicker and taller than we have ever seen. Lastly the server mistakenly put a corkage fee on our bill which was odd because we had not ordered any wine. He acknowledged that it was for the table next to ours, however had I not gone over the bill extra carefully, it would not have been caught. That seldom happens at this restaurant in our past experience. So three pretty significant errors in one meal. Even one of them would have been unusual, but to have all three in one sitting was very un"Grill on the Alley" like. A real pity to have our view of this restaurant's reputation stained like that.

    We had very nice service from everyone. Everything was tasty; my husband and I didn't love the chilean seabass. The steak tartare was delicious...next time I'll order it for my main course!! we liked the let side booths! Quieter area! Many thanks.

    The food was decent but not full of flavor. Wrong item brought for appetizer, one side dish not received and we had to ask for it, the waiter never asked if we wanted more water or cocktails after we finished them.

    The Grille never disappoints. The food is consistently excellent and the service top notch ! I love that steaks come with one side, so you don't have to order a ginormous shareable side dish to enjoy an accompaniment. Only one note- the h Journey to the restrooms looks very shabby ... not on par with the rest of the place

    Had a wedge salad and chicken pot pie....both very good. My guest had a wedge and shrimp cocktail......shrimp were excellent. Service exceptional.....bread the best. Not overly noisy and comfortable booths. May not be for the younger set, but it was very good for us.

    Always a winner! We love taking guests to this stylish, upscale restaurant. The food and service are both exceptional! The menu is diverse with something for everyone. While I enjoy the dover sole, my husband orders a perfectly prepared steak. Our guest, well, that’s up to them! Regardless of what you choose the sourdough bread keeps you very good company. The wedge salad is the best anywhere. And, the baked potato with platter of toppings is a must to accompany your meal. Save room for dessert as they are over the top fabulous in both quality and quantity.

    A BH institution. Went there with the family to celebrate my daughter coming home from college. Our server was fantastic and friendly. Shared the 32 oz porterhouse with my son and my daughter had surf and turf (filet and small lobster tail). So good. overall a great evening - fun time and great food.

    As regular customers, we were most disappointed today .. all our filet mignons were totally tasteless. No seasoning whatsoever. The ceasar salad barely had any dressing.! The French fries clearly were from frozen packages; we had hoped they would be fresh … not ! Service was inconsistent..bus waiter was more accessible then our waitress.. who got our order wrong; when I bought it to her attention, she said she would make a correction on the bill. Was never made ! Not a great a way to celebrate our 55th wedding anniversary.

    The lamb chops were plentiful and excellent. The lobster bisque was very good but would have been better if there were a couple lumps of lobster. I think they puréed it. The prices are too high especially for drinks.

    Great place to bring out of town friends - we were greeted promptly & seated quickly. Our server was friendly, caring & very attentive. Drinks were up & on the table promptly after order, our food was hot from the grill - and I heartily recommend the NY steak. Ours were perfect temp and seasoned well.     My ribeye steak was tasty and perfectly cooked! The tuna sashimi we had as an appetizer was fresh and delicious. What really stood out was the service. Our waiter was attentive without being intrusive and was very knowledgeable about the food. Overall, it was a great evening!
