We had a lovely dinner on Saturday night. The restaurant at 5:30 was quiet but picked up around 7ish.
Food was perfectly prepared and service was very nice. Will return. oh...they have added new items to
their menu. Good variety. Enjoyed ourselves!
are great neighborhood location and good food... been coming here since we moved in early 2017
Nice restaurant took a shuttle from our room had a nice meal and shuttled back, good way to end a bust day
The Silverado Grill is a wonderful local dining venue. The food is always great and I've never been disappointed . It has a resort feel but is a cut above in food quality. Highly recommend it.
We had thanksgiving dinner here and although it was not crowded at all, we only saw our server once. Gabriela took our order and then never returned. Someone else brought our food and then we sat for almost 35 minutes with plates and empty glasses on the table waiting for our check. Finally I had to flag someone down and ask for the check.
We usually visit Silverado's Grill for major holidays: Christmas, Thanksgiving, etc., because they have perfected holiday meals, always a wonderful choice between standards (such as turkey with all the trimmings) and modern offerings (roast salmon, vegetarian pasta, always a steak). The food is expertly prepared and served in a celebratory atmosphere.
The new menu leaves a lot to be desired. Why no flat bread? Someone needs a new recipe for white bean soup.
I had the scallops.
My husband and his friend had the filet.
The food and service was very good
Food is great, however, the service and staff need to pay attention to their customers. The dining room was almost empty and we didn't see our server until it was time to pay the bill.
Our dinner was exquisite! We requested a table by the window overlooking the golf course. We each had a scrumptious steak, and the frites were to die for! Service by Naomi was excellent. We'll be back soon!
It was a great place for dinner after the Safeway Open Golf Tournament Sunday night. Busy as expected, but great service and attention! . . . And tasty food and wine!
Took long time to be acknowledged by server ordered a $21 glass of wine served in a plastic wine cup had to ask for a stem glass no bread brought had to ask bus boy brought wrong appetizers ordered a second glass of wine got a half pour she said it was because they ran out of the wine I could go on and on will definitely not go back
Excellent setting - wait person was always attentive and available before asked
We love coming to this resort to stay but the customer service here is ridiculous. The bus boy was our server, we were never assigned server because they were to busy, I never got my drink because the bar was to busy (I’m sorry, I made a reservation, why should happy hour take my spot? And I love a good happy hour!) We got 2 salads, took 1 hour.
We went on a Saturday at noon because they advertise brunch. When we got there, it was not available. The server told us that they have a buffet breakfast until 11am and if there are enough patrons at the restaurant they hold it open longer so it is not truly brunch. In that respect I was disappointed. Otherwise the food we did order was good, service was fairly quick and sitting out on the patio is fun.
Been here several times and its excellent EVERY TIME!
New menu, better execution, better ingredients, but quite pricey. For a golf course grille there’s a noticeable lack of casual cuisine - salads and sandwich options are limited and very pricey compared to local options.
Usual Americn breakfast!
We find the Grill to always be dependable for dinners and lunches. a new menu is great and food is well prepared. There is a "bar" menu too for more casual eating and TV sports watching. The atmosphere is perfect for a club grill restaurant.
Slow food preparation tonight
Delicious food, nice wine list, friendly service.
I sat on the deck and watched the sun set.
The place to eat if you are at the resort.
Normally, I would provide a 5 star recommendation. We like to frequent the Grill as it's not far from the office. Yesterday we were entertaining clients and thought the Grill would be the perfect spot. We brought our own bottle of wine and scheduled reservations weeks in advance. Upon our arrival we were greeted and immediately taken to our table. After we were seated, it took 10-15 minutes before staff brought us water, opened our bottle of wine and checked to see if we had questions. Another 10 minutes went by before our wine was opened and 10 more before our order was taken. The food was excellent and came out from kitchen promptly; all at once. Our server was nice but inattentive. We had to ask for water and she never checked on us during the meal. There were several staff in the dining room yet no one checked on our table. I also noticed that the most of the service staff working didn't smile, just ignored us.
The menu was completely different from our last visit so I'm guess the Grill is going through some restructuring. We'll give it another chance with the hopes the staffing issues are dealt with.
The truffle fries are to die for. Double crunchy on the outside, yet creamy on the inside. That, and a glass of Pinot Noir - yum!
This was our first time dining at the grill and we were very satisfied.
Similar to the rest of this tired resort, the service was slow, inattentive and aloof. The environment is one of a residential home and we had to ask the hostess several times to find our wait staff before finally just walking out of the restaurant. We ended up having a great dinner at Celadon in Napa
Napa has so many great restaurants, don’t waste your time with this less than mediocre establishment
Great waiter. Abe
Danny the bartender is the best! We went for a girls getaway for the weekend and Danny made our visit to The Grill special.. we even came back the next evening to see him! He is a gem!
The service over the last several years has gone downhill. Wait Staff needs more training, as their customer service and knowledge of the same is lacking.
We dined at The Grill as it was convenient to walk to from our room at the Silverado Resort. My husband had the beef filet which he thought was very good. I ordered the pan seared sole. It was a little greasy and the sauce poured over the sole and the mashed potatoes was oily which made it too rich. The service was very good. The food very pricey. If we stay at the Silverado Resort again we would probably drive into town for dinner.
Had a wonderful time and the service was outstanding!!
Has a beautiful view of the golf course also. The resort is beautiful and very relaxing.
Food was great, too!! We were treated very well by servers!
Food was excellent. Service was unacceptable. Took 15 minutes for anyone to recognize us after we were seated. During that time a half dozen waiters and bus boys looked at us but no one brought water, set-ups, or menus. Another table in view was seated after us and received timely service. When our waitress finally showed she was less deferential than she should have been. She actually passed our table 2 more times over the course of the meal without asking us if we needed anything when water classes were empty. The second appetizer, a flatbread, was undercooked and soggy. We had to wave down another waiter when ours failed to show for 5 minutes to ask for a property cooked replacement. That waiter brought a well cooked replacement and ours never even mentioned the issue. The final insult was waiting another 5 minutes for a to go box and check from our waiter. The second waiter asked if we needed anything at that time and we had a to go box from him in 30 seconds. The Service rating would be 0 if not for this s second attentive waiter.
Breakfast is great ....we’ve never had a bad experience with breakfast at the Grill.
Dinner was quite a disappointment.
Each of us ordered the filet mignon a $38.00 entree. The steak was not a high quality piece of meat. It was cooked as ordered but the quality was just not one would spect at Silverado.
Also, we had to request our sides to be delivered to the table as they were not served on our dinner plates. Not sure what caused that oversite.
Would not return to the Grill for fine dining again.
I went there for dinner to celebrate the 4th of July, and had an excellent dinner with my father. Our waiter Jimmy provided fantastic service and was very responsive to all of our questions and special requests, and he even took some great pictures of us using my phone! Thank you very much.
The food and service were excellent. When they realized it was our anniversary, they brought over complimentary mimosas with our brunch! It was a great recommendation as well from a friend. The view of the mountains and golf course also complimented our time eating outside on the patio.
As a Silverado member I dearly want to say good things, and experience good meals at the Grill. Despite an excellent chef there’s just nothing to recommend here. Our grilled artichokes were over steamed prior to grilling and lacked the flavors that we have experienced elsewhere. Our dinners were meager representations of the dish on the menu. No way the Grill should be this underwhelming. Something has to change before we return to waste a dinner out
Service is excellent… Efficient and friendly. And our dinner was delicious. A nice quiet buzz of happy diners, but not too noisy for quiet conversation.
We were so disappointed with food. The brunch was extremely overpriced. The Grill took advantage of the father's day celebration. Bacon greasy, eggs benedict cold and sauce gummy, prime rib overcooked, scrambled eggs rubbery. We do not have one ting to say good about the food. Very poor quality.
Outstanding highly recommend
Food was great and service was very good. This is a good place for casual or fine dining
Excellent resort and good food with nice views and a fun, upbeat, sophisticated crowd.
