Amazing staff great food with nice views of golf course
Always a good meal at The Grill. Convenient to where we stay and the food is always good!
Just an OK place.
Best place to eat at The Marriott Grande Vista. Much better food than the other dining options at the resort .
Great Service, ask to be seated in Julie's section, very responsive management (Branson), can't cook steak. have the calamari with banana peppers.
I had the Ahi Tuna, it was tough and tasteless. My husband and cousin had the chicken. They also said the chicken was tough and not much flavour. You also do not offer fee if any gluten free selections. The noise level was extremely loud which made discussions difficult
Enjoyed our meal at the Grill. It was our last night at Grande Vista and we were looking for something slightly high class but didn't want to get all dressed up to go out. Casual dining with excellent food hit the mark! Service was excellent. Our waiter was right there when we needed him but didn't hover....We had been there a few times in the past when it was Nick's and fully enjoyed it then as well
One of the individuals in our party ordered a steak medium and it was delivered well-done, leather like. While the steak was then replaced with a steak appropriately prepared that person then had to eat alone as the rest of us were done eating. There was no offer for any compensation, such as free dessert, free steak, or drink.
2 of us ordered cosmopolitans to drink as we had had a great one 2 nights before. The cosmos were too sweet and hard to drink. We didn't return them but the consistency for quality was lacking.
We have had some great meals at this restaurant so this experience was upsetting.
Service was fast and friendly. Food arrived quickly and was prepared to all our liking. Great dining experience.
1st time here but the library room is amazing! Loved the decor and the food:)
We wanted to find a place we didn't have in Oregon that had good food for a good price. We found a gem with this restaurant. The food was excellent, the service was top notch and the atmosphere was great.
The "ribs" connoisseurs in our group love the special Monday night ribs, so we always include The Grille in our restaurant list whenever we are in Orlando. This trip did not disappoint.
Been here many times and I am never disappointed. Both the food and the service were excellent. We will be back.
Stay at Grande Vista Resort every year and make it a point to dine here. Party of 6 and everyone ordered something different. Food and service excellent...love the fact that you can enjoy your meal and converse without being rushed through courses. Will definitely return.
Ryan was our server and was very attentive!
Food was fabulous. We never had a disappointing meal there.
We had the prime rib special and it was delicious! The dining nag room is noisy as it is combined with the grill. Service was great.
Good location. Friendly service. Food is ok, but it’s convenient if you’re staying at resort. Expensive but quiet enough to carry on conversations.
Good food and service. Handy when staying at the adjoining Marriott Grande Vista resort as easy walking distance and no need to drive vehicle.
The food is excellent. Nice presentation and fresh ingredients. They have a casual atmosphere but the food and service matches a high end restaurant. We always include a visit here when traveling in the Orlando area.
The waiter was very attentive and friendly. The food was well prepared and the prestation was nicely done. Portions were generous and the cost was in line with what I expect to pay at a restaurant like this.
This was perhaps the WORST meals we've ever eaten at a restaurant. There were THREE major factors informing this opinion:
1) The restaurant did not offer menu service for Christmas dinner, only a buffet. At $49.99/adult, we thought that, for a Christmas buffet, we would spring for it, assuming it would be "special." We do feel that we should have been informed ahead of making the reservation, perhaps even by Open Table, that only a buffet would be offered.
2) The food was HORRIBLE. Not just bad ... HORRIBLE. The chicken was tasteless. The mashed potatoes were rubbery. The macaroni and cheese was disgusting, and the green beans were not even cooked. The "dessert" consisted of burned cookies.
3) The gratuity was automatically added onto the total (at 20%) even though it was a buffet and convention holds that 20% is not expected when all the waitstaff do is bring drinks.
SO, for this HORRIBLE meal, we ended up paying over $285 for FOUR adults for food that was of lower quality than Ryan's or Golden Coral, to be generous.
I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS RESTAURANT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES.
Sorry but this place disappointed. Menu not available on the Holiday, instead a very pricey buffet (higher prices than the on line menu indicated), very poor service (drinks & check delivery only), noisy, and just very disappointing. Never again, they should have warned me that it was not going to be a regular menu day when I made the reservations. To top it off, a 20% tip was recommended on the check for self serve !!
I visit for second time here and I want to come back again, I loved. 👌👌👌👌👌
I made my reservation months in advance and even called to confirm two days prior, but the table I requested near the windows was not ready when I arrived. My guests and I had to wait for the staff to push two mismatched tables together in the back room. Although the food was excellent, I’m so turned off that I will go elsewhere next time.
We were celebrating our daughters 40 th Birthday
It was great
The food was great every night we were there. Excellent Staff!
Always a great meal and outstanding service! Go to place when staying at Marriott Grande Vista. You will not be disappointed!
Really good ribeye and prime rib. Service was top notch.
Another visit to the Grille was super as usual. We always try to book Wednesday for the prime rib...mmmmm good. Bar service with Doug and Gus is excellent. Sunday breakfast/brunch is also excellent. Great view of the golf course. We'll be back
Excellent menu with prime rib featured on Sunday and Wednesday. Fine steaks, friendly, efficient service. Excellent bar selection and if breakfast or lunch an great golf course view. Sunday brunch is the best. Way back from I Blvd so the atmosphere is quiet. We are repeat visitors.
We dined at the Grille for their Prime Rib dinner. It was the best we've had. Wonderful smoked taste; unique with prime rib, but exceptional. Will definitely return for this entree!
Great meal and service. Veal Marsala excellent & tender; salmon w/ginger sauce very tasty. Topped off our wonderful dinner with a nice dessert--warmed chocolate bundt cake with chocolate sauce and ice cream. Also a
very nice wine selection to start our dinner off with. Very reasonable and child friendly.
It was worst meal. Frozen fish, poor quality steak. We are vacation club members and silver status and we were terribly disappointed. A complete waste of money
Great food. The food was so good that I order the filet to go. Accidentally left it on the table and went back and it was gone. No refund and no apology after spending $150.00.
The balcony overviewing the Golf court was very nice. The food was average, taking the price into account it wasn't worth. Service was OK. It was noisy due to a people sitting there, eating there own food (!) and watching TV through the windows.
Excellent good. Great waiter. Love the place!!!! We will be back next year!
Very good food choices. Excellent wait staff and bartenders.
Fantastic cuts of steak perfectly cooked and delicious delivered in a club house for a golf course was a bit bright lighting for dinner bit we sat outside and enjoyed the night air staff were perfectly attentive and couldn't ask for the food to be better prepared we both had the new York but added a delicious peppercorn sauce I'd go back
Nice casual atmosphere located at the Marriott Grande Vista. Wanted a decent steak which it was. The bar tender doubled as waiter but he did it with a smile and service was great, perhaps to fast, the entree came out seconds after finishing salads.
Only big negative was very poor wine list.
I am an owner at the Marriott and I often go to the Grandvista and dine at The Grill. Unfortunately this time we were seated in an area and I think we were forgotten. We waited an unusually long time for the food and for the most part it was cold. For the price you pay the service, the attention, and the food quality should have been better and has been better. I have never experienced this before there so perhaps it was just an off night. I will try again on my next visit
