I am an owner at the Marriott and I often go to the Grandvista and dine at The Grill. Unfortunately this time we were seated in an area and I think we were forgotten. We waited an unusually long time for the food and for the most part it was cold. For the price you pay the service, the attention, and the food quality should have been better and has been better. I have never experienced this before there so perhaps it was just an off night. I will try again on my next visit
Our family dined here after golf one day. Four adults. Food was good, choices of simple food or more fine dining were available. Menu was a little small but we were all able to find something that fit our needs for a late diner. Casual dress worked out. Crab cakes and Salmon were good. Burgers also good. Service was timely. Our server was pleasant and helpful.
Nothing special. It was just on the same premises we were staying.
Service great, food good but nothing special, little pricey for quality and ambiance, but a comfortable dining experience....convenience for Grande Vista guests is the main draw/reason for going.
Big surprise when we discovered the 'great steakhouse' I got as the result of an internet search was in the clubhouse of a golf course....Was expecting something more elegant & upscale. The description never mentioned the golf course aspect. Service was terrific. Food was good but not what I had hoped it would be. Would have appreciated it more if I had just come off the course after playing 18.....
Three of us had the Monday ribs special. The ribs were some of the best our rib connoisseurs have ever had. Fall of the bone tender and great taste.
When we stay at the Grande Vista we enjoy eating at The Grill. We have dined here several time, and enjoyed each time.
We expected more for as nice of a Reddit as it is located in.
Nice place on the Marriot vacation club property but not cheesy like some of those places. Just a nice restaurant.

This restaurant is located at the Marriott Grande Vista Resort in Orlando. The restaurant is in the same building as the golf pro shop and golf instruction center.
We have dined here many times. They have a very good rib special every Monday night.
In addition the food is very good.
Limited seating area so call for reservations before you go. Nice bar area area and a wrap around outdoor porch for afternoon drinks or lunch. Outside seating offers a view of the golf course and practice area.
Good food, price point a bit high. Reservations a must if dining after 5
Jorge, Doug and Liz were absolutely the best! We really enjoyed the whole staff and management team. Good seafood collection..
It was just okay!
Excellent seafood dishes, pleasant atmosphere, reasonably priced
I had the Filet Mignon and it was cooked to my liking and portions were perfectly sized. I enjoyed this dinner.
Overpriced for average food. $12.00 for two small crab cakes. $18.00 for fish & chips. Key line pie was $8.00 but was very good.
Fourth time to dine and was disappointed this time. Chicken was overlooked and dry. French onion soup said crostini but it was 2 small seasoned croutons that tasted terrible... thank goodness the bread served to the table was there. I would not recommend these entrees . Ribs and Prime rib had on another visit were good. Our waiter was nice but very busy with a large party and other tables.
We dined here three of seven evenings of our vacation. Location was convenient, but the meal was fantastic. A little pricey, but excellent food and service. Staff was very attentive. Prime rib was perfect. Husband and I split the 16 oz which worked out perfectly. Salad is extra and smallest 'dinner' salad is $8. Though was large enough to split and was very fresh. Table bread is warm and super good! We did adventure out for our last evening and both wished we would have went to the grill instead.
The ribs special was delicious and I am known for my ribs so that is an ultimate compliment.Audrey our waitress was great.Even though she was busy she checked on table often. Would highly recommend
Had been here for lunch earlier in day and it was great. Returned for dinner had Prime Rib Special and a Prix dinner. Was very disappointed could not substitute for mashed potatoes since I have milk allergy. Waitress did not even offer to check so disappointing.
The steak and Pot Roast were outstanding.
The Grill at Grande Vista is one of our favorites. The new decor is great and the service from both the bar and the dining room is friendy, prompt and professional. The new menu is varied and tasty. Their prime rib is excellent on their Wednesday special. We have also had breakfast at the Grill and the food and ambiance is wonderful overlooking the golf course. We could certainly recommend it. When you go, say hello to Doug and Gus at the bar for us.
Menu had very good options and specials. Service was much better that expected for a hotel/golf course restaurant.
We have visited here in the past and noticed a marked improvement.
Very cozy and the ambience is excellent. Customer service and servers and great. Food is superb.
Participated in the Magical Dining Experience.
First rate. The shrimp appetizer and the rack of lamb were outstanding. Cooked to perfection. The key lime pie and chocolate dessert with ice cream were delicious. Portion suze was generous. All in all a great evening.
We were there for magical dining. Menu was creative, food good and attentive service.
Quiet restaurant with beautiful views of the resort. Food was fresh, and very tasting. If you want to get out of the hustle/bustle of the touristy spots and areas, come here.
Very nice menu with great service and a nice selection of wine and bar drinks.pre fix menu from 5-6 for $29.00 is a great value. Selections at other times are reasonably priced. This place is a well kept secret.
The food was deliciousdelicious, hot and a great placefor a relaxed dinneranda good value.
Mother's Day Sunday Brunch was excellent, as always! We stay at the Grande Vista twice a year, and have enjoyed many meals at the Grill - breakfast, lunch and dinner. We have never been disappointed!
We ordered lamb, prime rib and catch of the day-black snapper for dinner and the food were delicious!
I thought that it was a good steak house
This was our first night at the resort and did not want to drive anywhere, walked over from our room and pleasantly surprised with the meal and the menu. Will go back.
Prime Rib nights on Wednesday and Sunday. Very good hamburgers and fish and chips.
Not a terribly exciting menu but enough choices to make everyone happy! I had the rack of lamb and it was cooked perfectly !!
Food was excellent. Shrimp pasta and fish fry. Berry drink was awesome. Server was efficient and view of the golf course nice.
We had read that they frequently run out of prime rib so I called and asked for a couple of rare pieces. They said first come first served which did not please me so when we arrived we asked if they still had the prime. If not we were going to go elsewhere. They had the prime and it was prepared exactly as we requested. Danielle, our waitress, is an absolute gem. We had a new iPhone 6s which we were trying to use. She said let me show you a few tips, very nice.
this spot has been a good watering hole for years. The food is decent, the service can be spotty and the noise level is terrible.....
