The Grill at Calvary Chapel of Fort Lauderdale Ratings and Reviews
The food here so far has never disappointed. We had the specials of the day and they were both spectacular. You could tell that they made everything in-house. We wanted the recipe for a topping that came with one of the meals and the server asked the chef and they wrote it down for us. Outstanding service. Love the ambiance. Great value.
The food is always great at the Grill. The service and the waiters and waitress are very nice and courteous. They are always available to make sure you are being served in a timely manner and are pleased with your food. Restaurant is always clean. The coffee is great ! We dine here on a weekly basis usually before the Saturday service at Calvary Chapel. This is a great time to enjoy good food at a great place.
We always have tasty food and excellent service. The burgers are almost shareable. The loaded Mac and cheese is fantastic, along with the pizzas and salads. It's a special eatery, comfortable and clean. Would highly recommend The Grill at Calvary Chapel Ft. Lauderdale.
If you are a Christian person of faith, this would be a good option for you if you want decent food at a reasonable price. Otherwise, don’t bother. Christian messages were piped into the dining room and I found it off-putting. None of the reviews I read mentioned this. So if you want dogma with your dinner, go. If not, try someplace else.
The food and service was amazing. We were a large group of over 20 and no one waited or wanted anything. the servers were there whenever we needed anything. Everyone got exactly what they ordered and were very happy with their meals. I would visit this establishment again and again.
Wonderful food, good portions at a very good value. Flavors are great, and you can tell that most of it is made in-house. They're sauces are amazing (loved their Caesar dressing and their lemon and caper aioli!). Service is great, very friendly and respectful. I definitely recommend this restaurant.
I am never disappointed at The Grill. The salmon salad was delicious. The quality of the food is evident and preparation is creative. The plate looked wonderful, too! My friend enjoyed her Southwest salad very much. Our server was efficient and friendly. We asked about the scripture on his name tag and he recited it from memory. It was a good one - I should have written it down!
A unique restaurant in the middle of a Christian campus. The atmosphere was beautiful and our server Angelica did a great job handling our large group. The menu was full of variety. The food was wonderful and appetizing. The coconut curry chicken soup was amazing.
Wonderful food and friendly, nice staff. It's a nice place to share a meal and linger without feeling we should leave. We had lunch on a Wednesday afternoon. It's located directly across from the Ft. Lauderdale Executive Airport (private planes). It was perfect to meet up with a pilot who flew in some business people and had to wait for them to attend their meeting. The desserts were fabulous!
Everything was very good. Service a little slow and the food was not very hot by the time it got to the table. We had a large group in for breakfast and I think getting everything out at the same time posed a bit of a challenge for the kitchen/wait staff.
On the positive side, service was friendly and knowledgeable, food tasted very good, menu selection was very good with enough variety without reading a novel to see what you wanted, and the environment is always excellent. Very successful meal and meeting, thank you!
We always go to take lunch there. But the last time we went, the waitress did an horrible job.....I asked him five times to take away the dishes after we finished the lunch. But he never came to clean the table and pick up the dishes......
I went with my parents and they did not like it.
Great food! I'm so happy that the new menu includes the chicken coconut curry soup as a regular item! The Mediterranean salmon salad was creative and delicious with fresh and unique ingredients. There were these cute little peppers that I've never seen before! They were colorful and tasted like pickles! Service is always good. Our server, Juan, was very friendly and efficient. The decor is kind of dark but I understand that a remodel is soon taking place that will bring more light into the setting. I look forward to seeing how that comes out.
This is the upscale alternative to the Ft. Laud. Calvary's cafeteria. It's located at their main campus on west Cypress Creek Rd. Parking and seating is easy. Many menu options for every
palate including daily specials. Everything is very tasty but especially the soup and the milk-
shakes! Prices are reasonable. We'll go back for the casual, laid-back atmosphere. Note:
this is not gourmet dining
