My husband and I always enjoy our meals here. This time my husband got the pork and was a little disappointed with the pork itself but thankfully the rest of his plate was delicious. I got the pasta and was pleasantly surprised how wonderful it was.

We had an amazing dinner at The Grey Plume. I had been hesitant to make a reservation for years now as the menu I always assumed would be to exotic for my liking however now that we’ve gone I will say there wasn’t one bite of food I didn’t enjoy. The duck fat fries were delicious, the soup was amazing, and the main courses my husband and I had, were absolutely scrumptious. You could taste all of the flavors in each bite of food. We really enjoyed our dinner and our server Tessa was delightful.

This restaurant is such a special place. The people treat you like family, the cocktails are unusual and always deliciously seasonal, and the food hits it out of the park every time. Try the soup, duck fat fries, the chicken roulade, or the agnolotti. The vegetables are certainly a highlight here, also. I’ve taken a few classes there, also, and they have been a lot of fun and useful! I love sitting at the bar for a casual pre-theatre dinner or getting a table with friends in the dining room for a more lengthy meal.

Scheduling vie OpenTable was easy and The Grey Plume called to confirm, since it was Valentine's weekend and having a special menu. Our waitress Patty was fun, informative and on-top of our order and needs. The food was fantastic, as always, with plenty of flavor for every taste bud.
If you've never been to The Grey Plume, just give it a chance and you'll be hooked.
Thanks for everything, every time, Clayton and The Grey Plume staff.

This was our first visit to The Grey Plume and we were delighted! Our server was so wonderful and helpful describing various dishes and her overall service! The atmosphere is very nice but not over-whelming. It's an up-scale environment but not at all intimidating. The food is spectacular and though I might not go there often, I love knowing that this kind of cuisine and service is available. It's a great place for any special occasion!

What a great find of a Beard semi finalist in Omaha! Duck fat fries with over easy egg gooing over them, butternut squash soup with panacotta and balsamic, and agnolotti (ravioli) with prosciutto! A wine list that’s diverse but not overwhelming. I would not order my pork entree again mainly as it was too much food. It was also a bit too linear with too much beet purée that took away from some of the pork diversity on the plate. I’d encourage the chef to reduce the beet usage on the dish and come up with complements for each pork option instead of a paint brush of beet purée! But otherwise stupendous!

Love Tessa as our waitress. Very informative and attentive Remembered me from the last time I was there 6 moths ago. Loved the chefs dinner with wine pairings. All the food was excellent, except the fowl dish. Served it on the bone which was difficult to eat and slightly dry. Not terrible, just not exceptional or diner friendly.
Would go back for Tessa!

Absolutely amazing experience! This is our second time to the restaurant and it was even better than our first experience, which we thought was not possible! We brought a couple with us, and it was their first time dining here. They commented they just couldn't believe when eating potato soup, that you could experience so many different flavors in one bite! The main course dishes we each had were beyond words delicious! We were sad when it ended.
If you're looking for an elegant, cozy, relaxing atmosphere, very warm and inviting with the best food your palate has come across, then visit The Grey Plume!! A gem in Omaha for sure!!

I’d eaten here twice before and had very good experiences. This time I was alone, opted for a light meal of two appetizer items, and planned on dessert. Hadn’t remembered how limited the menu is. Ordered duck fat fries (at $11.00) and a beef tartare. When they arrived the fries were soggy and relatively tasteless. I’ve had great duck fat fries before, these were a big disappointment. “Where’s the flavor?” I kept asking myself. The tartare looked great on the plate but was likewise lackluster as far as flavor goes. Just as I was about to order a crème brûlée for dessert the server told me they were out of that item, and no other option appealed so I passed. On a quiet Friday night ( the restaurant was at most at 50% occupancy at 7:30 ) you’re telling me that one of only 4 dessert choices is unavailable? C’mon...

It’s a nice few rooms, the noise level is where I like it to be (low!), but the culinary experience was sorely lacking.

The NYE Experience was honestly the worst dining experience I have had in a long time. For $125 per person and automatic 20% gratuity (really? For just two people and there really is no interaction with the waiting staff...) I could have gone to a restaurant elsewhere and actually filled up on food I enjoyed. I didn't see any information relevant to the pricing beforehand either, which awesome!

If you enjoy being fed 1.5 ounces of mediocre (excluding the elk dish) food six times over the span of four hours, then this is your best bet! So unhappy and I'm now out $400, love it. /s

This was a NYE price fix 6-course menu. Overall, the food was excellent as was the service. Value for the money, however, was not there overpriced by nearly double the competition and portions were small, some would say tiny, bordering on pretentious; especially for Omaha. Very nice to do it once, but will stick to drinks and appetizers here if we’re ever in the area again.

I thought the service could have been better. The server really did not engage us much. I think they were too busy. Also, it took forever to get our payment processed. My wife’s meal, the pasta, was so-so. I got the pork tasters and I thought the pork loin was a bit dry but overall we had a pleasurable experience.
