It was completely mediocre and very expensive. I wouldn’t go back.
Server made great suggestions and was really on top of everything
Great charcuterie and pickled vegetables were delicious
I was disappointed in The Greenhouse Tavern. The lighting made me feel like I was in someone's converted garage. My salad had too much dressing which meant the greens were limp, nothing was crispy or crunchy. My steak, cooked perfectly, tasted good in the 1st 2 bites, but overall it was way too salty. I went elsewhere in search of dessert. I won't be returning.
Sensational food and drink! It was clear each bite was crafted with expertise and care! Thank you!
OUTSTANDING SERVICE AND GREAT FOOD. I MET CHEF CLINT WHO WAS FRIENDLY AND ENTHUSIASTIC ABOUT THIER CREATIVE MENU. DON'T MISS THIS RESTAURANT FOR BRUNCH.
Another great dinner at The Greenhouse Tavern ! We got the Flintstone sous vide short ribs which were succulent and excellent. Come hungry since this dish is very rich and almost too much for 2 people.
The service was the very best part of this place, but the food wasnt far behind. We loved everything about it.
Had six for dinner so we were able to try many plates. Rice, tandoori carrots, Brussels sprouts and wings for apps. Strip steak, rainbow trout, tongue lasagna and a bucket of fried chicken. Everything was outstanding!
Probably the best restaurant in Cleveland hands down.
Fun evening on the patio, amazing specialty drinks , appetizers and Alice our fantastic waitress.
Our server was great. Food was good- maybe more veggie options. Seating outside was very pleasant.
The menu had changed so much from when we had been before. Our most liked dishes were no longer available. We had eaten the wings on each visit, but they really fell short this time. We were so excited to take our visiting Florida relatives for dinner, but ended up being disappointed. Probably will not return.
Excellant food and service!
Our server Chris was wonderful! The food, drinks, and atmosphere were top notch!
Our first time at Greenhouse (and last). Came with high expectations and left highly disappointed. The appetizers, particularly the No-Name Frites, were very good. We were thoroughly underwhelmed and disappointed with the main courses, particularly the lamb stew. The lamb in the lamb stew was inedible -- it consisted mostly of gristle with small fibers of meat surrounding the gristle. Service was lackluster at best. We didn't realize that there were specials until after we ordered and overheard a server stating the specials to another table. The meal and overall experience would have been disappointing even if the bill was 25% of what we paid.
FUN! Really fun. So much fun!
Amazing as always!
Very good enjoyed dinner
Service and food were excellent as always.
In a city full of great restaurants, this is still my favorite. Had the Caesar salad for the first time and it was memorable. Makes eating healthy a joy.
Not so healthy that we didn’t have the chicken wings. I would never skip those.
Great New York strip and fish of the day. Order wasn’t quite right but was fixed quickly. Thanks for a great meal !
The vegan burger is always great. I also had the soup which was near perfect.
it was a very hot night - seemed like the AC was not working. very hot and uncomfortable
Everything is always amazing here. We drive 55 miles every couple of months just to have the greatest wings ever created
Excellent food and service, as always. We sat at the bar overlooking the kitchen. This adds to the experience but can get noisy and hot.
Food was great. Service attentive. Lots of small plate options. The kimchi fried rice was delicious and an unexpected use of black rice. Roasted brussel sprouts were plentiful for 4. As an out of towner, I would certainly go back.
I just wish it hadn’t been so noisy (on the second floor).
The Greenhouse Tavern is a fantastic casual restaurant. Our service was prompt and friendly, and the food was outstanding. I strongly recommend the No Name Frites. Prices are reasonable for the area and considering the quality of the food. It was a bit loud but it was quite busy at the time.
Disappointed with our brunch. Food delivery time was over 30 minutes. One order was not delivered and the three that were was cold. Coffee delivered with no question whether we’d like cream or sugar. Pancakes delivered with no butter or offer of syrup.
Have had brunch there before and enjoyed the experience but the service and food quality were poor for this outing. And on top of it all we had a reservation. I may have been more generous had we walked in.
I realize that I likely will be in the minority here, but I thought our brunch left a lot to be desired. This was the third attempt at dining here (for brunch), and though I've never thought it was spectacular, our meals on June 14 were the worst. There were 4 people in my party (including myself), only one of whom was relatively satisfied with his meal of chicken and waffles.
The other meals were: 1) pancakes with seasonal compote. The pancakes were barely lukewarm; my girlfriend ate roughly 1/4 of her meal. 2) Braised beef over polenta. My girlfriend's husband was shocked at the meager amount of beef there was. And though he said the beef was "tasty," the meal was mostly composed of polenta. He ate what little beef there was, and some of the polenta. 3) My meal, simple pancakes and syrup. The pancakes were cold.
Also, it seemed like it took a long time for our meals to be served. We had 11 a.m. reservations prior to an Indians game. We arrived on time, we were seated within minutes, and ordered only a few minutes after being seated. It was 11:35 before our meals came out.
This experience left us all in agreement: there are better options for Sunday brunch. Sadly, the best part of this meal were the mimosas.
surprised on the service. she was slow, not overly friendly and not the typical shrive from GHT. We have not been here in over a year, and typically need to book a few days in advance. i was able to get a 7:30 reservation a few hours before. in fact, the restaurant was about 1/2 full. it was a beautiful saturday night and the tribe was playing. maybe the service has fallen off all together.
Cute atmosphere, poor value for food- very underwhelming and slow service
Great food! Friendly staff! Menu is for everyone.
I love your restaurant. It is very difficult to hear, please turn down the volume.
We were in the Cleveland area for a concert, and wanted to try The Greenhouse Tavern. They were able to accommodate an early dinner pre-concert. We were seated promptly, and our server was very helpful in navigating the menu choices and the excellent alcohol selections. We chose small plates and a shared poutine, and were extremely impressed by the quality and quantity of the meal. I had pulled pork and potato croquettes, while my wife had a pea tartare, both of which were excellent. We each ordered a charcuterie, which was excellent and ample. The shared poutine was over the top delicious. We left a bit on the table as we were fully satisfied. There was a mistake in service of the pea tartare, a salad inadvertently substituted. The mistake was immediately corrected by our very attentive server. All in all, a wonderful and adventurous dinner, which we highly recommend.
We go to Greenhouse all the time. One of our favorites in Cleveland. Delicious thoughtful food. Andrea has become out favorite waitress in Cleveland. In a city where service is generally poor, Andrea has been fun, attentive, and gives great suggestions.
Great food. Good gluten free, vegan and vegetarian options. The cocktails are great. Out server, alice, was very knowledgable about the menu and answered all of our questions
Great flavors, nice location. We are from out of town and didn't realize we couldn't bring our own wine, so that was a bummer. Also, if you want the pig head, order it as soon as you sit down. By the time we asked, it was sold out and it takes an hour to prepare. Cocktails were good. Would return.
First time dining here — the experience was wonderful, our waiter very knowledgeable, and the food delicious! Would definitely go back whenever I’m in town!
