My girlfriend and I visited this restaurant during a trip Cleveland as a tip from listening to the 'Your Moms House' Podcast and hearing comedians Marc Maron and Tom Segura comment so positively on the food. The experience far surpassed the already high expectation! We tried the wings and can excitedly say they were the best we'd ever had...Anywhere...EVER! I also ordered the short rib dish and was blown away by the flavor and preparation. Each bite was perfection. Upon wrapping a flawless meal, we asked the server for options for things to do around the area afterward and it just so happened that the band Portugal The Man was playing in town that evening. Unbeknownst to us the band had been dining close by us at this very restaurant the whole night. They had left some comp tickets behind and when the server dropped the bill accompanied were two tickets to that concert...we had been planning on possibly attending this show while in town and then decided last minute to save the money...we now didn't have to compromise. The show was great...the food, however, remained the highlight of the evening!

Our waiter suggested the brusse sprouts and chicken wings, we were so very glad we took him up on the suggestion! Definitely some of the best food we’ve ever eaten. However, the main courses paled slightly in comparison to the starters, they were just so delicious!

Everything from the food to the service was excellent!! My second time dining here, brought my mom, who is a hard sell on certain foods....but she loved everything!! John, our server, was phenomenal. He was funny, personable, knowledgeable, and a true champion for the restaurant. Great experience all around. Will always recommend and return. Keep up the good work!

Really happy as always. You are our favorite place for dinner. Please never get rid of the chicken wings confet or the strip steak!

While we couldn’t get our usual server (Kevin) Brittany was awesome!

This place is AMAZING. My favorite restaurant in CLE. I have never had a bad meal. And no restaurant in town does vegetarian/vegan at their level. Everything is full-flavored and delicious. If you have out-of-town guests and want to really impress this is the place for you.

Jonathan Sawyer has crafted one of the most pleasant dining experiences in CLE. The service was great. The staff was excited to discuss the food and our dining experience (as it was our first time). The food itself was unreal. My girlfriend and I left fat and happy. The other huge plus, in my eyes, is that Sawyer strives to source all his joints with locally sourced, organic ingredients. I hope other CLE restaurants follow his lead. Definitely go if you haven't already. 10/10

Came here for my son's birthday. His request. Though we have eaten here before. Personally got the wings, and like everyone else said they were excellent, didn't use the sauce. All meals were done to everyone's liking. Our waitress was fun and attentive. Always a good choice.

Food was good but the service was terrible. We ordered wine twice to find out they were out (it was Friday). They didn’t clear our apps until mid dinner and we needed to ask them to clear. I haven’t been there in a while and I am in no rush to get back.

Fantastic Food!!! Personally, I would like more light.....if returned in summer, definitely would prefer outdoor dining. A bit claustrophobic......HOWEVER, we had a GREAT evening and the food was FABULOUS. We would definitely return!!! Kevin, our waiter, was a gem!!!! Thanks.

Everything was so delious. Starting with our cocktails. Our waitress was knowledgeable and gave great suggestion. She even stuff my olives with blue cheese for my Martini. The menu is eclectic but worth stepping out of your comfort zone to taste very yummy food. The rosemary frites...wow! Lamb burger is fabulous. Definitely give Greenhouse Tavern a whirl.

We have eaten at greenhouse dozens of times. We even had our sons rehearsal dinner there before his wedding! This time was not one of their better efforts. Everything (everyone’s dish)was so salty. The food there is so excellent it doesn’t need it!

I’ve been here many times but this last one didn’t quite make the grade. The waitress seemed distracted and disinterested. Food was not quite as good as usual, seemed less flavorful compared to the norm! This is ALWAYS my go to place when I have guests that have not been there before. This time was very underwhelming.

I was really looking forward to dinner with my son, as my husband and I had an exceptional meal here in the summer. We were in a rush to see a show, and our server went above and beyond to get our order in, as well making food suggestions which we really appreciated. Cocktail of the day was very disappointing, not worth the $12 in my opinion. Lamb burger was way too oniony, totally lacking, bu also a little dry. The over the top fries with egg and gravy were way too salty. Brussels sprouts were delicious.
Overall really disappointing ting, even if the order was rushed, there was no excuse as far as I’m concerned. I work in the food industry, and believe it was someone who just didn’t care.

Sadly Very Disappointed! We've gone to Greenhouse many times in the past and have thoroughly enjoyed everything. We even had a large surprise birthday party there several years ago and it was excellent. But our last experience was not a good one. Last Saturday was supposed to be a special 21st birthday dinner for our son. Our 2 orders of Ciopinno were $35. each...they were cold and had next to nothing on the plate...we returned them. Then ordered the pork dish and it was good. My sons steak was ordered med rare came out as rare (literally very red through out and bloody). Our server said " It looks med rare to me". We returned it and my son enjoyed the Med rare. At 7:00PM they were out of several dishes. Our server while possibly not intentional had very argumentative replies through out our dinner. I personally found this offensive. Felt the $200+. was definitely not worth the frustration. While I have many nice memories of dining here I'm sad to say we will not be going back.

At first we were a little nervous and unsure about the menu and sitting next to others that close but after ordering and eating and the drinks we are definitely going back. Like I said a little outside of our comfort zone but felt right at home very quickly.

Lamb loin special was spectacular. A friend had the "Pork and Pie' and it was impressive. I've always had the pot de creme for dessert and branched out to try the French silk pie. The pie was good--and visually beautiful, but not as good as the pot de creme.
Service was friendly and added to a great evening.

Celebrated New Year's Eve with family and a great Greenhouse meal. Service was outstanding, and food never disappoints. Wings and squash for appetizers and a variety of dishes for dinner. Best burger I ever had, and others in our party loved the lamb chop/pork chop, and rigatoni.
